L'Oréal Paris Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation Review

I was lucky enough to win this through Beauty Review and was so exvited to try it as I have so many friends that rave about L’Oreal foundations. I have combination/normal skin and have found this foundation goes on beautifully and makes my skin glow almost instantly. Unfortunately within about 4 hours its almost non existant. This foundation is definitely not suited to a more oily skin as it will only make your skin appear shinier. It may help using a mattifying balm but even with a setting spray I just dont feel this foundation lasts. It is a nice lightweight foundation and the colour was a perfect match for my skin so if you’re a little dryer then this may work for you. I will continue wearing it during the day as I do love the glow it leaves on my skin but will probably not repurchase

I have tried sooooooo many foundations and they seem to cake so bad on me. When I saw this being trialled on BR and after all the great reviews I decided to give it a go. I have pale skin and got the shade classic ivory which is a perfect match.

It is quite a runny consistency which I like. I prepped my skin and applied with a damp beauty blender. It applies smoothly and the coverage is medium on me. It looks quite natural. I find that this looks better a few hours after applied. It gives me a soft glow which is nice as my skin is usually dry and dull.

It wore very well throughout the day, I didn't end up looking like an oil slick which I was worried about as I'm not used to wearing 'glow' foundations. A beautiful foundation which I think is great for dry skin.

I've applied using a sponge and my fingers but my sponge gives a bit of a better finish. Loving this foundation! Will be great for winter when I need that glow :-)

I'd had this foundation on my radar for a while. I love a foundation that gets me through a busy day without touch ups, but also a foundation that doesn't look too matte and flat.

This foundation is very runny compared to others. First impressions was that the coverage was going to be quite light.

Application wasn't as flawless using a foundation brush and ended up using my fingers. Coverage is okay - it is a medium coverage and on the light side of medium for my liking.

By mid afternoon I did notice some shiny areas, and my chin especially was looking a little pink where foundation had worn off a little.

Definitely no issue removing this makeup, and my skin didn't feel dry like other long wearing foundations, but the coverage wasn't quite as heavy as I'd like, and therefore I noticed the wear long before I would with other foundations I've used.

It's an okay foundation, and if you want something lighter than the usual stay put foundations, this one might for for your. I loved how it felt on my skin, but that was probably about it, so I still haven't found that holy grail foundation yet.

I was lucky enough to score this from the Rewards Vault recently and was eager to try it as I'd heard its a good dupe for my beloved yet pricey NARS Sheer Glow.

Unfortunately for me I could not get this foundation to agree with me - I tried several different primers (Hour Glass, Porefessional and a NARS one), I went without primer, I set with my Urban Decay setting spray and set with my Australis setting powder. This foundation hates me.

I have oily skin particularly through my t-zone and every which way I tried to get it to sit on my skin it would separate within 2-3 hours particularly across my nose and chin.

This foundation is quite runny (like Sheer Glow) and it has a medium/light coverage which I wasn't able to build to a more dense medium coverage whether using a brush, fingers or sponge. It looked OK once I'd set it for an hour or so but after 2-3 hours it looked awful and after trying it for a good 10 days I've had to admit defeat.

I was so excited for this product! Anything with dewy or glow in the title I snatch up because my skin is like the Sahara. Unfortunately this looked terrible on my skin, I use thick foundations quite often but this was CAKEY and after applying it I had to immediately take it off. It emphasized my dry patches (some I didnt even know I had) and made my pores and fine lines look huge. I'm so sad about this because it was such a highly hyped product and looks beautiful on some people's skin but it did not work on mine!!

After using my regular foundation for years, it started going on my skin blotchy, so I switched to this. It goes on so smooth and lasts the entire day.

I have purchased this when my skin got really dry with dry patches on chin and skin peeling off and this was a saviour product for me.

Coverage wasn’t full or even medium, more like a light to medium, but it still looked really good on my skin, it didn’t bring out the dryness at all, so I was happy not looking like a rotting zombie throughout the day until I got over this dry skin phase.

I managed to pick up a slightly too dark colour, so after my skin normalised I went back to my usual foundation, I’m so happy that summer is here and I can use this foundation again, will be so good for a quick pick-me up to get a bit of coverage and glowing skin.

I’m happy it didn’t make my skin seem oily, just a light healthy glow and with a bit of setting powder this lasted most of the day for me.

This foundation is so amazing. I’ve had trouble with extremely dry skin all my life and was happy I found this foundation, it’s cheap and great for dry skin leave a beautiful glow finish and last all day. Would definitely recommend.

I don’t like the texture it’s quite creamy. It goes on quite thick I think my shade was to light. It felt mask light. Was great for dry skin as it applies easily. Sunk into my facial lines and didn’t sit nicely for me at all.

I bought this a couple of months ago on sale and have been really enjoying it.

At first I didn't think I would like it, it's very runny and when first applied it looks way glowy and dewy for my liking. But once it's blended out it looks so good on my skin. It's quick to blend and everything sits so nicely on it. It gives me medium coverage. My skin has been very dry lately and it doesn't cling to any dry patches and I absolutely love how it looks on my skin, and makes everything else look on my skin.

I set it with a powder to give me a bit more coverage and because it's a bit too dewy for me without powder. It doesn't last as long when I don't wear powder with it. The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is because it doesn't last as long as it claims too. I get about 8 or so hours, on an average day, of good coverage and then it kind of disappears and redness from my skin starts showing and it just starts looking bad. This doesn't bother me that much, I haven't found many foundations that last any longer than this, but I definitely didn't find it to give 24 hour wear as it claims and won't be wearing on nights out. Other than that I think this is a really good, affordable foundation!
