Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Eyeliner Review

I bought this solely because I had not yet found a pencil eyeliner that would apply nicely to my tightline.

I don't use the brush it comes with, rather I apply it with the angled brush from the Real Techniques starter set as I find the shape of the brush is better for getting in to the inner corner.

The formula is very creamy and pigmented. It's properly black, not a dark grey colour like some other Maybelline eyeliners are.

Once on it lasts all day (though it does smudge initially into my waterline) and gives great definition. I have not tried it on my upper lash line, largely because I am not feeling eyeliner on the lash line lately.

I use it every day and cannot see it running out or drying up any time soon! Love this stuff.

This gel liner is really black! I love my black liner and this one worked perfectly. It didn't smudge or come off throughout the day. The application process was pretty easy and it is a good affordable eyeliner.

I was actually reccomended this by a close friend, and I am so happy I was! It was very interesting and different so of course I had to give it a go! I picked it up a few weeks ago from my local pharmacy, and it was $25.

So the first time I used it, it took longer and more control than I had first expected, but it did give me the over all effect that I couldn't seem to get from any other liquid/gel eyeliner. And I had finally found the eyeliner that would give me the perfect,cat eye wing I was dying to have.

It is quite a thick, dark consistency, but super easy to apply with the brush. It takes a little patience but when its done, it definitely gives you the satisfaction you have been waiting for. It lasts for a reasonable amount of time, and though sometimes flakes is relativley long wear.

The packaging is great for throwing in your purse for quick makeup touch-ups on the go, and you don't need a lot each time you apply it so it does last a long time and is great value for money.

Overall the product is great quality, well made and very effective! I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for an eyeliner that they can create a great cat-eye wing look with!

I don't like liquid eyeliner and find that pencil liner doesn't give me a sharp edge which I like to do. This comes in a small jar and is see through which means that you can see how much product you have. This is a very black colour and very pigments. It feels creamy and I find it very easy to use with a small eye liner brush. Doing this means I can create a sharp line which is my signature. This doesn't dry out in the pot and it doesn't smudge once it has dried on your eye.

Maybelline eyestudio gel liner is great drugstore product. Best for beginner and expert too. I got it from the werehouse when they had 25% skincare and cosmetice sale. It was cost me 15$ for 3g pot. I wanted to buy black one but by mistake I got charcoal charbon which did not want to. It is nice glass small pot with screw lid on. Gel liner comes with brush which is great for beginner or somebody don't want to spend money on brush.

Gel liner consistency is good but not great according to me. Product claims that it smodgeproof and waterproof for 24 hours, that not true at all. I put the liner 7 a.m and till 4 a.m all right after that liner start fading it without primer. If you accidentally use finger on liner its comes off easily. Gel goes smooth but however I am not great fan of gel consistency. Brush is good for wing liner if you expert for it. But I use my Murphe eyeliner brush for perfect winged eyeliner.

I want to try black one in the future.

Love this eyeliner! great formula and doesn't budge at all. Easy to create thick and thin lines with the provided brush, and even fairly easy to create a sharp wing. great colour payoff also.

I'm a big fan of winged liner some days and a smokey grunge liner other days so this liner is a great dual purpose. Easy to blend out to a smudged effect but will stay put once left for 45 seconds or so to dry and can also create a perfect clean black line for a sexy feline winged eye. I struggle with gel liners sometimes due to how quickly they fry out but when you know how to remedy this you're up and away :-) It's gentle on skin (my eyes usually burn when I apply liquid liner but not when I use this gel) all around a great product!

I barely walk out of the house without eyeliner in my water line. This product for me was amazing! I did not expect this formula to actually last all day on my water line but it stays there from when i leave home in the morning til I get home again in the afternoon. It does not smudge or run and I do not even have to pat on a powder eyeshadow on it to make it last! The formula is really creamy but once you apply it and it sets, you are good to go :) The brush that it comes with is really decent as well. It is soft and just the right thickness to get the product exactly where i want it. For the price you pay I think you are getting a really good deal! I use mine everyday and have barely made a debt in the product. For me I think this is a great transition between a pencil eyeliner and a liquid one :)

So far I have found this is the best gel liner out of the ones that I have tried however I find that it doesn't stay in your waterline very well which is disappointing
