Maybelline Define-a-lash Mascara Review

Maybelline is well known for mascara and this one is a pretty good one. What I like best about it is that it does not tend to clump and form a monolash like some other mascaras can. It's not particularly volumising but it is good for length.

I'm not really a fan of the silicone brush - I find the spikes are not long enough to grab my stumpy lashes easily.

That said it's a good basic mascara, not clumpy, with a good amount of lengthening.

i saw alot of good things on this mascara, unfortunately for my liking it wasn't that great!

the brush isnt great and i found the formula gets quite clumpy on the second layer. this mascara is also REALLY hard to get off at night! i found trying to get it off actually hurt my eyes. the only good thing i have to say is that its actually quite black unlike others iv used

I found this to be a pretty decent mascara overall. I LOVE the packaging. The colour and shine of the tube looks pretty without being too over the top and looks nice in your bag or on your dresser.

The cap is easy to take off and the wand comes out cleanly. The bristles are well styled to get good coverage of the product to your lashes.

The actual product comes out nicely without clumping (one of my most important points for a mascara) and goes onto the lashes evenly, coating them well and defining them.

I have tried better ones, but for the price this is a really nice, affordable product that I would be keen to repurchase.

I really liked this mascara, it actually made my lashes look really long and thick. A lot of other mascaras that I've tried usually make my lashes go straight down with no curl, but this mascara kept it curled and not clumped.

I have the waterproof product, so it's great for summer. It did clump if you let it dry between coats, so had to watch out for that, but it' definitely my go-to for days around the pool or at the beach, where other products would run. Gives pretty good volume and length.

I really like this mascara. I too am always trying new/different mascaras, and this is one I always come back to. It always goes on nicely and doesn’t clump and makes my eyelashes look amazing. It always comes off easily too at the end of the day. I never buy it for the RRP though, I always buy a couple from those make up sales that come through town every now and again for usually only about $10-12 each.

I'm a bit obsessed with mascara, always trying different brand. Not sure why it took me so long to try this one. Its great. I like the brush shape. Easy to apply. The formula is smooth, it doesn't flake or clump, it stays put but comes off easily wit makeup wipe or cleanser. Very happy with this product.

I find this great for an everyday easy to put on mascara. It doesn't clump and I really like the shape of the brush. It lasts and comes off well.

I have tried so many mascaras in my time and have to say this is the tried and true product that gets it done! I don't like clumpy lashes, my main requirements are black, defined and lengthened. This does all above beautiful, plus it doesn't smudge yet somehow it is sooo easy to remove. I found that the raved about Collection mascara was way too hard to remove. This also beats my Tarte Lights Camera Lashes mascara and my Benefit They're Real. I'm picky with my mascaras so this is high praise! Would definitely recommend if you're looking for emphasised lashes without the unnatural clumpy look.

I like this very much it does what it say, its very smooth and lovely to use, no clumps at all!! also makes my eyes look amazing, my friend recommend i use it as i have very long eye lashes and i find it hard to find a good mascara i say try it girls TRY IT!!
