This is such a lovely palette, full of beautiful shimmery shades. I don’t wear eye shadow a lot but this is great to wear on a special occasion.
The colours are just gorgeous and gives you such a selection of lovely colours that are so shimmery.
Maybelline has come out with another winner for this palette. It is one of my favourite palettes. The eye shadow formula is really nice too.
This is at a reasonable price point and definitely worth it! I just love the colours.
This palette comes In an attractive burgundy coloured case with rose gold writing and see through panel on top. Good selection of 10 shimmery shades and two matte shades. Comes with a double ended applicator, brush and foam tip, reasonably priced and a beautiful array of shades from dark brown to coppery gold and light shades. I would recommend this palette to anyone who wants a reasonably priced and good quality palette.
Tips: Use a light touch and a little goes a long way.

This is an oldie in my make up bag abut one I still reach for often. I think maybelline have really nailed their eyeshadow formulas and there’s not a lot of pallets that I find myself hitting the bottom of the pan and this is one of them. The is a lovely mix of shimmers with a few mattes in there to balance it out and the red burgundy colours are highly pigmented and blend out great. I’m stoked they still continue to make this one as my favourite all time pallet the nudes has been discontinued. It blends out lovely and the colours are really pigmented and compliment each other well. I’ve created some stunning looks with this pallet and will continue to repurchase.
Tips: Don’t drop it….I did and one of the shades crumbled and went through everything. If you find a pallet you love only stocked in a few remaining places buy it up cause it normally means it’s going.
I really liked this palette. The eyeshadow applied well and was buildable. The shades blended well. The only thing I found missing was a small mirror in the lid of the palette which would make this so much easier when out and about. The applicator did it’s job but I do have to say I would preference to use my own brushes for better application. This will definitely be added into my make up go to bag.
Tips: Carry a compact mirror and eyeshadow brush.
I LOVED this. It made my eyes dazzle for my christmas work function. Its quite a loose 'powdery palette' so you need to make sure you are tapping away the excess product before applying to your lids.
Theres a wide range of colours to create both bold and natural shimmery looks. I am a massive fan of golds as they look super flattering on most eyeshapes and make the inner of my eye POP.
There were no nasty smells either and the palette comes with a cute brush- easy to pop in your hand bag and touch up throughout the day.
Durability was great, generous pans of the product would make a great christmas gift for someone. So much prettyness !
Tips: Definitley use a primer or concealer on your eye lid. This will enhance the colour pay out of the product
If you really like to 'pack on' the sparkle like myself make sure you have some decent brushes for application of the shadows.
This palette is so pretty, I didn’t want to spoil it by using it! It has 12 shades that have duo, triple or quad tips on the back of the pack - and although some of them look a little quirky, actually compliment each other and look quite striking (the cream and red combo for example) and comes with an applicator brush / sponge. Slightly disappointing that there is only one sponge applicator though, I had to wash it a few times - but good from a hygiene perspective so not all bad. The shimmer effect does settle on your upper cheek a little by the end of the day, but the product doesn’t gather in the crease of your eyelid to form a line which is great.
Tips: Some of the gold tones are very similar, great if you like that colour as the palette will last longer
The colors are perfect for a well balanced eye look. A couple of them come out slightly darker than j thought they would, but not in a bad way. Really great range of colors.
Tips: Make sure you keep it secure when travelling so none of them come out of their pans and break.
Nice palette to have in your kit. All the shades except the two lightest have great pigmentation and blend like a dream. The lighter shades are bit chalky. I don't really use them.
Tips: Highly recommend using a primer on eyelids before application. If you don't have a primer just use a little concealer and set with powder before applying the eyeshadow.
LOVE the colours in this palette. Very pigmented, stays on the lids for a decent amount of time, also price! It's such a good price for what it is. Great for teens starting out, can find it in nearly every supermarket that stocks maybelline.
Tips: Prep your eye lids - primer etc then go hard!
