I bought this nail polish when I was first getting into painting my nails. I still love it. It goes on easy, you never need more than two coats, and it dries quickly. The matte is always flawless, and it doesn't seem to chip or weaken my nails. It doesn't last that long, but for the price I bought it for I don't mind.

Tips: Because it doesn't stay on that long use an undercoat. Unless you have a matte top coat you can't use one, so an undercoat is the best way to make sure the colour lasts.
This was one of my first nail polishes I brought and it made me love matte polishes.
It dries very quickly, and has a nice finish. I have never needed more than two coats, and often find that it lasts quite well for me (I am prone to nails chipping quickly). It lasts about 3-4 days before it starts to chip.
It goes well with every other colour that I have tried.
It also is found at many places for a good price. I paid $2 for this bottle, and it is one of the best ones I have.
I recently just purchased a bulk supply of items from Postie Plus..Among them is this nail colour. First time that I have tried this before. Lovd this vibrant color. Fresh looking colour. Easy to apply brush. Had a good consistency. I applied at least three coats to get a good looking colour to it. Your normal smelling nail polish. What I loved about my bottle of Bhys nail polish is that it has a leopard print lid. Which instantly got my attention. I have brought other make up items in this Bhys range. Took about 20 minutes to complete my nails with dries in between. Cost wise, was very afdordable. Lucky thaf I managed to catch a bargain at the time.
I grabbed this from the clearance bin at Postie a few weeks ago, any chance to snap up nail paint cheaply if it's a brand I haven't tried, I will.
This color is very punchy bright, brighter on the the nails than it appears in the bottle very summery. It's slightly tacky to apply so I need to have quite a blob of if on the brush to get a smooth finish. Two coats provides solid coverage but it tends to chip off very noticibly in largish bits, within a day or two it is looking a bit rough.
The brush is fine, the formula is okay, for the price I can't really complain. The quality isn't terribly bad or very good either.. Average.
I think the BYS polishes are a bit hit and miss. I have had ones that have worked very well, and ones that haven't. The are a good price, very affordable. The brushes are nice and thick. I have a black from this range and it's great. Only need two coats to get full coverage and it lasts a long time without chipping. I also have a teal colour which is very very sheer on the first coat and doesn't build up very well so I usually use this as a top coat over similar colours to make a custom colour and it works out fine.
I purchased the shade 03 Gold Glitter because the glitter nail polish looked stunning in the bottle and the lid has a funky leopard print design. I certainly regret purchasing this now. The glitter looks lovely in the bottle, it is a mix of hexagonal glitter and laser glitter. However it applies terribly to my nails. The polish is very thick and simply refuses to dry, and even after a couple of days of attempting to wear it, it always remains tacky and the glitter just peels off. To make matters worse, the lid also broke. The cute leopard print lid is supposed to be glued onto a separate lid that actually opens the nail polish. However, after a couple of uses the leopard print lid became unglued and now the polish is impossible to open as the lid that remains is incredibly difficult to turn.
Tips: Adding a few drops of nail thinner might make this less thick so it may dry quicker.
I brought a glitter and a clear BYS polish from Kmart near the beginning of the year for only $4 each. I wasn't expecting these to become my holy grail polishes as they were so cheap but had an impulse one morning before work to have glitter on so I purchased them.
I haven't tried any other colours in their range as the glitter polish put me off completely!
The smell was so over powering that I ended up with a horrible headache and the polish never dried properly, even after 40 minutes there was still wet patches on my nails and that was with one coat only.
Needless to say, by the end of the day, I had glitter on my clothes instead of my nails. I did however give it to my youngest daughter as I do with all polishs I don't end up liking and she likes it :-/
I wouldn't recommend this product and I personally won't be using it again. I basically got what I paid for which wasn't alot.
BYS was a favourite of mine to buy from Postie (sadly they seem to be going away from the cheaper polishes nowadays). I have several colour ranges including scented, glitter & glow in the dark.
All provide decent coverage in two coats but for a few the brushes have been bent or stick out at weird angles - which makes applying the polish challenging.
Not thick enough for a one coater, which also rules out using them for stamping.
Smell isn't too bad & bottle shape looks great in my nail rack.
All in all a great cheapie polish that gives you decent nail coverage.
Tips: Check the brushes before buying.
BYS stock in a few places, but I've mostly bought them from Glassons and Equip. I have standard colours, glitters, and 2 colour changing ones.
The formulae for these seem to be universally quite thick, but two coats is advisable for even coverage and better colour, especially on the glitter.
All BYS polishes come in square glass bottles with black caps. The colour is clearly visible through the transparent bottle, and the end look on your nails is true to the colour you can see.
The brushes are a little on the skinny side, which makes application a little more fiddly, but still achievable.
The polish wears okay, especially with a top coat on to lock it in - I'm tough on my hands and this still gives me a good few days most of the time.
The smell is a bit on the strong side, so ventilate the room when you're using these.
Tips: witht he colour change ones I find that if I put on a few heavy coats it changes colour at the tip only for a DIY ombre. No idea of the science behind it but it works for me
I strongly think a girl can never have too many nail polishes, and so when looking for a particular shade to go with an outfit I stumbled across the very affordable BYS cosmetics range. I actually picked this polish up in 'Pretty as a Peach' for something like $5 or so from Glassons one year, bargain price. BYS has so many colours available and this particular one is a lovely pastel peach.
The formula itself is really runny so it takes a few coats to get a nice even coverage so it does take longer to dry. It's also not particularly long-lasting, 1-2 days without beginning to look tacky.
In saying that despite the performance I would still purchase these again when I'm wanting a polish for a day/night or to go with a particular outfit as they're still really good value.
