I had heard this was good but as I clung onto my bye bye undereye I took the plunge as come on I'm addicted and wanted to try for myself.
This pot of wonder comes in the cute Becca logo marked small tub which is similar size to the ABH brow pomade, the lid bearing their logo in a soft rose peach tone screws off of the heavy glassed jar to reveal a peach poured set cream which melts upon contact with your fingertip so that you are applying a heavy cream in a sense to your undereye area which is perfect to prevent creasing and sinking into fine lines.
I get blue patches under the inner corner and to the side of my nose bridge which I have recently started using eye masks and retinol infused serums to help reduce and tighten the area, so these discolorations have reduced significantly but there is still visible aging signs that this corrector corrects, plus it adds brightness to the area which in turn adds a youthful appearance. All without creasing and sinking into your skin and lines.
Using my ring fingertip I just lightly apply pressure to get a thin veil of cream that I then tap lightly over the dark areas to cover. Voila! all clear and bright, and it lasts all day with the addition of a transulcent powder to set it on your skin.
Super impressed with this corrector and it has made me eager to try even more Becca stuff which is a curse and a blessing as it is expensive, but the quality outshines that factor plus they are long lasting products.
I ordered mine off beautylish who is my fav online store. I get really bad black looking eyes due to pain, lack of sleep and allergies.
Now I have the IT bye bye undereye which I absolutely love but wanted to try this. I wanted to compare what each does so I've been experimenting.
So this comes in a small glass jar with a twist lid. The lid has becca punched I to it. It's very simple understated packaging and you think good god its small for the price! So twist off the lid and inside in a cream product. Swatch in it on your hand it reminds me of a highlighter. It sort of glows.
I apply it with a concealer brush under the eye and in the inner corner. I let it sit there for a few seconds and then pat in with my finger. The first time I did apply to much. Less is more with this! Now talk about making your eye look fresh! The first time i applied i kept seeing my reflection in mirrors and each time I was amazed at how fresh my eyes looked. I didn't have any makeup on, just this.
2nd time I applied the same way and used a RoVie mineral foundation over the top. Now for me this is absolutely the perfect combination. I found using the powder sort of set it. So it didn't feel like there was something there when I touched my face. So imagine you have a rubber, you run it along the line of a pencil and the pencil slowly vanishes. Well this is what this did to my dark eyes.
I like adding a extra bit to the inner corner and also brow bone for a bit more of a glow.
Yesterday my eyes looked a real mess (like I'd been punched!) I used this, then the RoVie, then tapped this over top, then a dash or RoVie again. It removed the darkness yet added a glow to make my eyes look more normal.
Yes I have used with the IT bye bye undereye as well. It's a gorgeous combo. Now if you were asking if you had to have 1 or the other what would I pick? Both! This is really really really lightweight. You can't even notice you have it on. The IT is thicker and also hides fine lines more that this one. This is perfect for the person who hates the feel of makeup and doesn't want to feel all cake
Will I buy again? Yes buy the bathtub size!
