I had heard about this product so decided to give it a go. I expected this to work and was disappointed that I found myself sweating and at how often I had to reapply this same as a regular deodorant. The smell was okay same as other roll ons. It was expensive too so I won't be purchasing again.
I bought this as an 'emergency' one day when I realised I'd forgotten to put on some deodorant at home! I couldn't find the brand I prefer, so I picked Rexona as they seemed to have a similar scent (Powder).
First off - I didn't like the scent when I actually smelled it. It was not at all what I expected. It wasn't intolerable, but I absolutely wouldn't buy it again.
The container is nice - it's quite grip-y, and I liked how it dispensed from the top - it gave enough product without it being too much, and the applicator top was a nice size to get full coverage.
It did work well as far as I could tell - I didn't have a very hectic day, and it held up well in terms of odour control.
I did find that it was quite drying, and it left a white reside - I don't typically get that with the brand that I regularly wear.
I've kept this at work for use on yoga days or for deodorant emergencies, but I wouldn't buy it again. I wish there was a way to be able to smell products like this before buying, or if they offered a scent-free option (if they do have a scent-free option I didn't see it at the store I bought this from)
I received this in my March BB. I have never purchased it myself, but always been curious, so was excited at the opportunity to give it a go.
It definitely looks clinical. When i opened it, it didnt work like your normal deodorant. In fact, it may have taken me a few seconds to figure out how this worked!! Surely, it shouldnt be that hard!
Once i worked out the click, turning mechanism, I was unsure how much to use. Is too much a bad thing? Surely not in this case...
The first time I used it, I thought I would put it to the test and did a 20km, stair workout with my fitness crazy friend. We walked up and down crazy amounts of stairs for over two hours, and it really did a great job. Perfect protection for those times you really need it! I was pleasantly surprised.
The smell of the product itself was pleasant, nothing too over powering.
I would love to say that this is now my go-to, but that price tag really does put me off... Can i justify spending that much?
Honestly, just didn't really work for me... I have never found an antiperspirant that has worked well on me. It was moisturising though! Reduced the amount of redness I get after shaving :)
With the super hot summer this year I wanted to try a stronger deodorant and spotted this at the warehouse so decided to give it a go. It was around $13 which is much more than I usually spend.
The packaging is big and bulky which I don't really like. You turn the dial until the deodorant starts coming out the holes it reminds me of play dough. Quite a bit comes out so you only need to make it click once or twice.
It smells nice and is easy to apply. For better results you can apply the night before. It is quite effective and helps with odour and sweating however at the end of the day I had white stains all over my top which is a big no no for me.
I have tried letting it dry longer but I still seem to get the white marks. For this reason I would not repurchase as it is a huge negative for me.
This product is good to help reduce mild-moderate sweating but if you have real perspiration problems (like I used to) it won't do a lot for you and your best to try something stronger like Driclor
Tips: Try to avoid shaving under-arm before use
I don't think this is the right product for me, I felt weird about putting it on before bed but since it said to I did, I figured a morning shower would wash it off so skipped that :( during the day I think it worked fine but putting it to the test with netball and practice I was more sweaty than normal!
I find this product great, but compared to the standard deoderant that costs a 3rd the price and goes twice as far, its not THAT great. I find myself using the '2 clicks' (pffff) each night before bed, but than apply my normal deoderant before each gym session also. Chances are I wont buy again.
Tips: I dont think this is the cure for anyone who perspires EXCESSIVELY! More of a 'dont-perspire-at-all' remedy for the standard issue chickadee.
I bought this after trying out the Nivea branded one of these clinical deodorants and really loving that one. I know heaps of people love this so I was looking forward to giving it a go. Well as looking forward as you can be for deodorant anyway!
This comes in a fancy looking container and is quite large, bigger then a normal roll on. It has a base that you easily twist up to get the product out. The Nivea version is a stick product so I was expecting the same from this. I was wrong. This is actually a cream product and the top of this container has small holes that product comes out of when you twist it. The container recommends two clicks worth of product for each underarm. I did experiment a little but two clicks seems to be the perfect amount. Too much means it flakes off everywhere as you apply and obviously one click wouldn't cover everywhere you need it too. It was dry to the touch pretty much straight after applying it so I was able to get dressed straight away, unlike with using normal roll ons.
There were a few different scents to choose from which was nice. I chose sheer powder as I like powder smelling deodorants. I dislike this though. It's very overpowering, the powder smell is there but it gives me a headache from the scent.
I apply this in the mornings after my shower under my arms and also under my breasts #largeboobproblems. On a normal day where I'm not doing anything too hetic, it works really well and keeps me dry and smelling fresh. I did notice when I went for a walk, my underarms got wet. Not enough to go through to my top but I wasn't kept dry. I don't think I had any odour though so that was good anyway.
Another thing I really liked about the Nivea stick, was that it lasted me a couple of months. This one I've been using for about 2 weeks and I have enough for about a week left. I did get this on special for $10 but it is expensive to have to buy every 3 weeks and it really didn't keep me dry like I was expecting. I can't see myself picking this up again and could only recommend it to people who are not too physically active.
