NIVEA In Shower Body Skin Conditioner is a new and more convenient way to moisturise. Now you can quickly moisturise before you even get out of the shower.

Application is a breeze and works in four simple steps

1. WASH - Cleanse with shower gel as usual and rinse off

2. APPLY – Stepping back from the shower stream, apply a generous amount of NIVEA In-Shower Body Lotion. You’ll be amazed how quickly it rubs in

3. RINSE – The caring formula will immediately be absorbed by your skin and then you can rinse off

4. READY– Dry off and you can get dressed immediately!

Ok, but not fantastic

I have received a bottle of these ages ago in one of my beauty boxes, I remember struggling with the bottle, it was so hard to squeeze and after I got some product out of the bottle my hands were slipping off, so was even harder to get more lotion out. I absolutely loved the classic Nivea scent and it did make my skin smoother, although kind of just coated it with all the silicones that’s in this in shower body lotion. I’m not against silicones though, but there’s a whole lot in this product, seals in the skin’s own moisture though pretty good. :) I didn’t repurchase it as I’ve found the struggle getting the lotion out too annoying.

Tips: Squeeze as much out on the first try as possible, as it’s harder to get any more out with slippery hands.

Nivea body shower

This product actually worked, and I am NOT a fan of body washes. It didn't leave me feeling oily or caked in heavy scented product, but moisturized and feeling fab! Yay for Nivea.

Itchy!

The first time I used this I jumped out of the shower thinking it had a nice fresh scent and yes it moisturised but I didn't feel wow! Then I dried off and oh my goodness! I was itchy! I went to bed about. Half hour later and I was still itching away! The next morning I felt my skin was just normal, not amazingly moisturised or anything. I tried it again the next night and there was less itching except for a spot on my arm and side of stomach. No rash or anything just itchy! My sister likes this so I think I might pass it on to her, I'll stick to my normal moisturiser. Plus I don't think it saves time, I'm not convinced it makes moisturising any easier at all!

No Thanks

Used my free sample this morning and I'm glad I didn't purchase the full size. Its been about 7 hours since my shower and my legs are looking a wee bit dry and crackly. I tend to have this problem lately ahhh think its an age thing and I'm on alot of meds. So have applied my Body shop body butter, ahhh refreshed again. I felt the nivea wasnt too heavy and greasy but did make the shower floor a bit more slippery. I still felt I need to air dry a bit ok run around in my knickers and bra while putting the kettle on, then I got dressed. No I won't buy the full size one.

Nivea In Shower Conditioner

Great idea to use in the shower. I think I would use this more in winter when I forget to put on moisturiser since my legs aren't exposed as much. It did the job but I still prefer putting on normal moisturiser when going out and about.

Pretty decent, but not for me.

I got a couple of small samples of this to try off their facebook page as I was intrigued about this new type of product that I hadn't really heard that much about before. I found it did do a good job of moisturising my skin and was easy to use but probably wouldn't repurchase. I feel that it just creates an extra product sitting in the shower and uses up precious shower time.

I would rather use a 2 in one body wash that cleans as well as moisturises and then use body lotion when getting out of the shower, but that is just personal preference.

Tips: I would advise everyone to give it a go and see whether it works for them. I think they are still giving out samples on their facebook, so check it outl

Not too bad

I tried the Nivea In Shower Body Skin Conditioner as they were offering free trials through their Facebook page. I found it did make my skin soft, and it smelt nice, however, I couldn't help but feel it was a bit of a gimmick. I think I will be sticking with regular body wash while in the shower.

nice

Tried this from the facebook page sample. It was kind of annoying having to apply it in the shower. got my hubby to help put it on my back. My skin felt soft but I think I prefer to use a moisturiser once ive finished showering.

Just not my thing

I received a couple of sachets of this product as a free sample and was quite keen to find out more about it. I have to say that it works very well in that it really makes your skin feel like you have moisturized it. The reason why I am not a big fan of it is that I don't think it has any advantages over using a regular moisturizer. I personally just don't think that moisturizing in the shower is preferable to outside of the shower, and it feels like a bit of a waste putting the shower moisturizer on, and then rinsing it off again. I guess this sort of thing is where it just comes down to personal preferences, and mine is using my good old (Nivea) body moisturizer.

Not the best

I brought this purely because everyone else has been talking about it. I find it kind of annoying and time consuming that you have to stand in the shower with the water off whilst it sinks in. I feel kind of sticky when I dry off and my skin really doesn't feel any different. I think after I have finished this I will go back to body butters. The smell is also really boring.
