La Roche-Posay® Toleriane Ultra Sensitive Eye Contour Reviews

I'm always nervous about using eye products as I have very sensitive eyes and skin but I had no issues at all with this product. It it more of a milk than a cream product and you don't need much at all so a bottle should last for quite a while. My eyes haven't appeared as puffy since I've used it. I will use again.

First, the packaging. I love the pump mechanism which is explained on the box. It ensures no air can enter the bottle, meaning there is no need for extra preservatives in the moisturiser. What a great idea! The pump was also really easy to use and the product flowed smoothly.

I have used harsh (yet effective) anti-wrinkle eye creams in the past, but this is the first gentle eye cream which is specifically designed to assist with sensitive skin. I am constantly rubbing my eyes because of sensitive skin in that area, but this product was lovely and gentle. No fragrance is a big plus for me (why would you even need fragrance in an eye cream??).

I don't think this product would be right for someone who wants help with fine lines and wrinkles, but certainly if you struggle with problem skin this is great.

I had never tried any La Roche-Posay products before but had heard a lot about how good they were on BR. When I saw the invite for this trial I was over the moon and couldn't wait to try them out. Made in France oh la la!

The instructions are actually on the inside of the box, very simple to use and feels so refreshing on your eyes. It is a lovely light formula which doesn't leave any greasy feeling.

It doesn't cause any irritation or redness and makes my eye area look plump and healthy. I love the packaging, it holds 20ml of product, you simply turn the lid which opens and closes it, great for travel as it shuts securely. I like the pump, very hygienic and easy to get the perfect amount out. A little definitely goes a long way. It has no nasty ingredients which is amazing and exactly what you want when applying around your eyes. No noticable scent.

I have quite dry and sensitive skin so this product is perfect for me, I have been using both morning and night. I can't comment yet whether it helps reduces fine lines as it is too early to tell but I really think it helps with puffiness.

A lovely eye cream, totally recommend for people with sensitive and dry skin. A beautiful, luxurious brand.

Was pretty stoked when I was chosen to review this little product. I have been suffering from migraines lately that has caused me to walk around as a Halloween character with the hollow eyes.

The packaging was what I would expect of a French-based company – white with blue writing that still looks stylish although the setout was pretty straightforward. I was led to believe this little product targets individuals with sensitive and allergy-prone skin – so my skin ticks all those boxes

Being past my mid-forties I have noticed that the fine lines appearing and bought some eye creams – unfortunately, these made my eyes red and watery – probably with me rubbing my eyes continuously without noticing.

What is great about this formula is that it is free of preservatives such as lanolin, perfume, alcohol, colorant and parabens. I have now been using the product every morning and night and have had no irritation at all. I did however expected the texture to be thick, like other eye creams, but surprisingly this one is very light and spreads effortlessly.

To apply, I just follow the instructions printed inside the box (only saw that by accident). I just use my ring finger and gently dab the tiniest amount of product (it really goes a long way) over my eye contour and eyelid and apply a bit of pressure from the inside of my eye outwards, finishing off with added pressure over the entire eye. This way I am sure that I am getting the most out of the product. What helps is that the pump splurts out a tiny amount so you don’t end up with excess cream.

A week later and I am glad to report that the skin around my eyes looks and feels so nice and hydrated. I love the size especially because I have some upcoming traveling and this will make it a super travel-friendly and small enough to include as a carry-on

This eye cream is one of the best I have used. A small amount (not even a whole pump) will do the whole eye area. It’s soft and easy to apply and feels refreshing on the skin. I found it nice to apply and soaks into the skin quickly without leaving any residue. I had no reaction to it. As I have a baby I don’t get a great sleep so this has helped to soothe puffy eyes and some redness.

This eye contour cream was a product i was quite excited to try! Who doesnt want to try and get rid of those wrinkles and puffy eyeballs. Especislly when it is such a irritant free product

The packaging is basicslly a plastic bag within a tube and is designed to prevent oxygen attacking the formula, which means no added nasties to keep the formula from deteriorating, there is a lovely wee diagram on the side of the box to illustrate this. The pump bottle also has a handy quick on/of turn pump to prevent those nasty travel bumps which end in product everywhere.

Downside is that yes it caters to the french language but i had to look for the english use translation which was half way down the box. Yes eye cream is self explanatory but for someone that generally doesnt know its a bit of a find. Much to my surprise though it had picture instructions inside the box which solved that problem.

I have used this a few times as i had only had it a few days before having to submit a review. But the formula is non greasy, definitely no fragrance and adsorbs incredibly quick.

However my eyes seemed to be incredibly sensitive this week and i spent the whole first night with watery eyes and had to rinse it off with a towel. I perservered and tried again and seems my eyes are tolerating it more now.

You only need a very small amount, half a pump will do.

Final review: I probably wouldnt buy this myself, but i am willing to see how it goes after two weeks.

This eye contour cream is lovely and very hydrating. I have very sensitive eyes at the moment due to a treatment I had received a few weeks before trying and I found this cream to be very hydrating and helped stop the "prickliness" I had been feeling. It also seemed to help with the puffiness my eyes had been feeling. The small bottle with the pump mechanism makes this cream an ideal travel companion, I only used one pump of cream for both eyes as a little does go a long way. I love the fact that it doesn't contain any nasties and does what it says on the bottle.

My first thoughts when receiving this product was,yes! a great non irritating eye cream to banish my eye bags and soothe my red eye lids all which I believe are a combination of lack of sleep,too much coffee and the biggest culprit of all,pollen! and dare I say it a bit of aging going on...I am not a fan of the clinical look packaging but to be honest I am more concerned about the product living up to all it claims rather then the design,colours etc of the packaging although a bigger print wouldn't go astray to make it easier to read.I found the instructions were written on the inside of the box which to me wasn't the easiest place to read and follow.Just like the La Roche- Posay Toleriane intense soothing moisturiser this product uses the same innovative secure pump bottle with an easy to open and close screw lid so again there is no contamintion,waste or mess....The product is ultra light creamy and fragrance free and so easy to apply.I used 2 very small pumps for each eye which I then dabbed gently with my ring finger over the eye contour area and eyelids.After you have done this you just apply gentle pressure from the inside of the eye outwards then closing your eye,apply light pressure of entire eye...Have I noticed my puffy dry itchy eyes looking any better?,well yes there is a slight improvement in the overall puffiness and they certainly feel more moisturised and less itchy,not too sure if there is much improvement in the redness on my eye lids though but it is still early days to really know how effective this product is on de- puffing as you need to be using the product for at least a month or more before you can notice a difference and I have only had about 10 days of use.I believe this works really well as a gentle moisturiser...The fact that there are no skin irritating ingredients such as colourants,fragrances,alcohol,parabans and lanolin make this perfect for those like myself who have allergy prone skin.Like the face moisturiser in this brand,the eye cream also has the break through ingredients Neurosensine TM and Niacinamide that both target the process of skin irritation,this makes an amazing eye cream and at the retail price of $38.00 I think it is worth buying because you only need a very small amount for each eye,a little will go a long way...If you are looking for a soothing,hydrating,non irritating eye cream which is suitable for contact lens wearers and those that are prone to eczema then this is the one to try.I know I will be purchasing a bottle when I run out.

This product was perfect timing as I had run out of eye cream and had been looking for something new to try as my dark circles and puffiness had been really bad. Probably a combo of genetics, lack of sleep and alcohol. My eye area is very sensitive and I get dry skin there along with the occasional bit of eczema, so I really have to be careful what I use. The La Roche-Posay Toleriane Ultra Sensitive Eye Contour is super silky, light weight and cooling on application. The first time I used it, it was like using an eye cream straight from the fridge. It instantly cooled and soothed my eyes and felt so nice I wanted to keep reapplying haha! The directions say to apply morning and evening so that is what I did, as per the instrcutions inside the box and it is the nicest thing to use both first thing in the morning and last thing at night. It really feels like such a treat! The texture is more of a lotion than a rich cream, a little goes a long way and one small pump from the handy pump applicator bottle is all you need to generously apply to the eye area. It is preservative, paraben, fragrance, alcohol, colour and lanolin free. I always heard that French skin care was the best thing out but this product, being made in France, has shown me that is really is very good! I found it to be very hydrating and helped my make up apply smoother, with no dry patches even as the day went on. I noticed not long after applying my eyes were less puffy and I feel my whole eye contour area looks smoother and feels softer than before. I truly love this product and will continue to use. It is also nice to apply during the day (see, I couldn't help myself but reapply!) if your eyes feel uncomfortable or dry. Especially at this time of year with pollens and pollution and air-conditioning as the weather is so changeable I find it really effects my skin. The bottle size is 20mls and I can't see a dent in it yet. I think it is good value for money.

I had just run out of eye cream, and being guilty of constantly rubbing my eyes I was excited to try this product as it is a line aimed at eczema & atopic skin. It was a light lotion texture which is good, as some rich eye creams can be a little too much for the thin skin around your eyes. A half-pea size was enough for me to apply around my eyes with my ring finger. It absorbed pretty quickly with no irritations as it is free from alcohol, fragrance, colours and parabens, as well as some other harmful ingredients! I felt safe using this product.

I think it is a bit early to comment on the effect it has on my fine lines, but I am very happy to continue using this. There are other eye creams out there for double, triple the price that contain harmful ingredients, so I think this is a great product for an affordable price. Very hygienic packaging too - I’m glad I don’t have to dip my fingers in a jar.
