L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Laser X3 Day Cream Review

This moisturiser has a lovely light fragrance with a cream smooth texture that absorbs nicely into the skin. I used an amount the size of a small green pea which absorbs into the skin nicely and leaves your skin feeling hydrated and soft. I can't say I noticed any visible difference to skin density or fine line improvement but my skin has been feeling the best it has in ages and I really like this product for that reason

I have been using this for about a month. Peesented in a red coloured, square jar the product inside is a cream of medium consistency. Lightly scented, the cream certainly packs a moisturising punch. After usage, my skin is plump and fresh looking. My skin absorbs the cream well, without leaving any greasy residue behind. I am a sensitive skinned gal, and my skin has had no reaction. However, there are two areas in which I have concerns. First, no spf. This may suit people who want to add a good quality spf step in their regime. And the second, is that when I put my foundation on (a liquid), it 'pills'. I have eliminated all other products in my regime, and it seems to be this product causing the issue. So, I no longer use it for day use. Because there is no spf, it can be used for night time, and this is what I have been doing.

I have found this cream really good. Its not to heavy on the skin and feels lovely on the skin. I have had lots of comments in the past week about how plump my skin looks. I can see a visible difference around eye area with an improvement in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I will definitely be adding this cream as my new regular day cream. I highly recommend using if you are 40+

Packaging is consistent with the L'oreal brand, sleek, stylish and understated. The fragrance is warm and lush, but not overpowering. The moisturiser felt smooth and creamy to apply, and was absorbed quickly, my skin felt refreshed and there was no excess residue, unlike some other moisturisers for aging skin. I was able to apply foundation over this promptly after application. I think that there was a general improvement in my skin tone and texture after using this over a period of two weeks, definitely a reduction in the fine lines around my eyes and mouth. I would happily use this again, as I think for the price it is good value.

I have used it for about 6 months and do like it because it feels smooth and absorbs into my skin quickly. Also, this product smells great and is super moisturising.

However, my biggest concern is that it does not have an SPF and, if it did, it would be a A* product.

I was given a day , night cream and eye cream from Loreal from my partner. He just came home one day with them for me as a present. I've never tried Loreal before for skin care so I was extremely excited to start using this cream. I've been using it for the last two weeks. My skin type is dry with some fine lines on my forehead.

This jar of cream is made out of thick solid glass. It feels luxurious to hold. On the front of the jar is the Loreal labelling. The lid is square shaped and easy to remove. There is another lid underneath this to protect the cream. The cream itself is thick and creamy. Has an off white look to the creamy. Looks slightly glossy. The scent reminds me of a floral smell.

Applying this cream was easy. I notice when I first put it on I did feel a slight tingling sensation. It did go away for me after five minutes. I have been religiously putting this on my skin and it feels supple. My results is that my skin feels firmer. I haven't noticed any changes with my fine lines. But my skin feels like theres more elasticity. It also didn't really help aid my dry skin on my nose. I've just started to notice that coming back. Overall it looks it is a good product. I probably won't get it again because it didn't help with my dry skin around my nose.

The packaging of all these products are lovely - but the jars are just so heavy. It's not a biggy but it was the first thing I noticed.

This day cream didn't work as well as I hoped with my makeup routine. I tend to just use a BB cream as a foundation.

The cream itself is lovely and light, and when on the skin you feel that it is very nourishing - and having typically dry skin, my face loved the cream, but for me it did feel a bit 'greasy' and I felt a bit shiny. If I wasn't wearing makeup that day, then the shiny settles down, and the cream feels good. When applying the BB cream, I found the BB cream slid around my face and caked a little, unless I gave the mouisturiser a good 10-15minutes to settle (of course the BB cream could be the problem too!). If I used my fingers to smooth out the bb cream I got a better finish. When using a matte foundation I didn't have any problem with the day cream at all. With or without makeup my skin felt soft and nourshed - and it took care of my usual day time dryness that I'd normally get. The velvety feel the product describes would be accurate. My pores seem a little less visable too

If I could solve the BB cream problem this would be a 5/5.... I think its more a compatibility of products issue than an issue with the moisturiser.

I used the day cream on and off for 4 weeks as part of the Loreal Revitalift trial. My skin can breakout easily but thankfully I didn't have any issues with this.

My least favourite of the range. This cream is so thick and heavy for a day cream and I had trouble wearing it in the summer heat. This is why I could not wear it everyday I ended up using it every 2 days. It made my face feel sticky and with the super hot days we have been having it made my bb cream slide around and just generally felt far too heavy on my face. I think this would be best used in the winter or at night time. I wish they had a lighter option in this range.

I would not purchase this when I run out. Even though I have dry skin it is far too rich. Will be interesting to see how it goes in cooler weather.

Thanks beauty review for giving me the chance to review this product. The product comes in a really nice glass pottle decently sized too. A lovely red bottle with looks very elegant. The cream is a lovely texture and is white in colour. It feels very nice on the skin. My skin instantly felt firmer and cleaner with a nice fragrance. I haven’t noticed a change in my fine lines as yet but maybe it’s too soon. Such a beautiful range and I definitely want to continue using as I love the way my skin feels. It’s great under makeup too.

I have used this product for a month in combination with the eye cream, serum and night cream. I applied the day cream after the serum to my face, neck and décolletage, it feels rich and creamy and moisturises my skin well. I then applied primer and foundation, and everything stayed on my face well, it didn't feel oily or thick, and stayed in place all day. Worn without makeup, my skin feels hydrated and looks good. Would definitely like to keep using this product, and will recommend to others.
