Hydrating Night Cream

I am a fan of Loreal Paris and tend to buy their face creams when on special at the supermarket. This is a creamy rich formula which sinks into my skin with minimal massaging. Quite a strong but pleasant fragrance which dissipates very quickly. A square glass screw top bottle which holds 50ml which lasts a long time. Very hydrating and leaves skin soft and fine lines minimised. Contains Hyaluronic Acid and Galanga, a firming extract of plant origin.

Tips: Try the day cream as well, which comes with an SPF50.

A fresh happy way to wake-up

This is a lovely night cream. I'm not a fan of the heavy, thick night creams. This one is definitely not one of those.

It's in L'Oreals signature jar. The cream itself, is purple. My initial thoughts were 'it's so pretty'. This night cream is a gel like consistency, and applying to the skin it glides on and absorbs so easily, leaving you a healthy glow to your skin. It takes a little while to absorb completely, but I like that feeling of my skin getting a good drink of moisture before bed time. I'm the fan of the cooling gel consistency of this cream. In summer time this night cream would feel soooo good!

In the morning, my skin looks bright and healthy. My skin is soft and feels hydrated. It performed as well as some of the 'moisture surge' and night mask products I've used. Very similar results.

As it's a regime - I think this night cream is boosted by the serum and eye treatment to make this a really amazing over night treatment. On its own, it's lovely, light and delivers but I think the serum is what gives it its super power over night - especially the wrinkle fighting powers.

That said, used nightly, after 4 weeks I felt my skin looks great each morning, but I can still see wrinkles. It would be hard to reverse 20-30 years of ageing though.

I can't remember the 'bounce' my skin had 10 years ago to know if that's been somewhat restored, but with the boost in hydration it's definitely looking and feeling better than it did 4 weeks ago. 40 is the new 30 anyway, so no need to wind back the clock too far!

I particularly like that that this night cream being gel form is super-hydrating without making the skin particularly oily. The night cream feels like it slowly absorbs and works overnight and you wake to bright, happy skin.

Overall it's a good night time performer.

L'Oreal Revitalift Night Cream

The night time moisturiser comes nicely presented in a silvery light purple box that matches the rest of the range. The glass container itself is shaped much like the other L’Oreal day/night creams and is a very attractive deep purple in colour. The appearance is nice but is quite heavy in weight, so not really practical if your travelling a lot with this and the day cream combined.

I loved the scent, a little stronger than the day cream, but I didn’t find it at all over powering. The product is off white in colour and easy to apply smoothly. While the texture isn’t as thick as some night creams I’ve used, it still leaves your skin feeling wonderfully moisturised.

I really liked this product, I used it at night with the eye cream and serum, and all together they left my skin feeling wonderfully nourished and moisturised, and still felt lovely and smooth and hydrated the next morning. I’d definitely recommend this, and even better if you use it with the rest of the range.

So smooth!

This is the first night cream I reach for now, I love trying new creams and am always chasing that new product high but this cream does what it says it does. It’s moisturising without being greasy, it’s thick and rich but not heavy. It smells divine and glides on so nicely. In the mornings my skin is plump and smooth, and doesn’t feel heavy or clogged. It’s a decent jar that lasts a number of months. It has overtaken glow recipe as my favourite night cream! I have a frown wrinkle that had really started to bother me and this cream is really helping with that. I am almost out and will be making sure I buy again before I do!

Tips: A little goes a long way!

Plump it up!

When it comes to the skin on your face, the plumper the better any! I loved so much about this night cream and top of the list has to be how great my skin felt in the morning- no creases or lines in sight. The consistency is just what I like, not at all greasy, and easily absorbed. It layers well, both under, and over other products and it has a nice, clean, feminine fragrance. It comes in solid packaging that could happily sit on display in open shelves. The pretty purple of the jar is matched by the colour of the cream itself. No applicator was included, but a fingertip's amount should be enough to look after your face and neck nicely. The inclusion of HA means it soaks up the moisture of the other products you'd use in your nightly routine, and the glycerine will lock it in so your beautifully plump skin stays that way through the night. I think it's so important to give our skin all the help we can while we're sleeping and I feel that this night cream does exactly that. I've really enjoyed discovering this product and I'd recommend it far and wide!

Tips: While it's geared for skin in the 40+ age range, don't let this put you off trying it when you're looking for your next night cream!

Anti-ageing Night Cream

I received this product as part of a trial -thanks to Beauty Review. I have been using it for almost 4 weeks. A surprising lavender colour for this thick, slightly perfumed cream. On first application it took a while to soak in – so perhaps I used a bit much to begin with. I use less now so absorption is quicker and is non greasy. Massage in at night after cleansing, with upward strokes. In the morning my skin feels and looks more nourished, fresh and hydrated. The eye bags & lines under my eyes are less pronounced. No sensitive skin reactions, and good for 50+skin. After 4 weeks I am approximately halfway through the cream so it should last 2-2.5 months (so costs $4-5 per week) Buy it on special to make it more economical, as it sells in store for $40-50.

Tips: Start off using a small amount as it's easy to slather more on than you need, and add extra as required.

L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Filler Night Cream

I was lucky enough to get chosen for this trial team and have been using this night cream for around 3 weeks now.

The packaging is pretty, coming in a dark purple jar and the cream itself is beautifully scented and is a light purple colour. Personally I'm not a fan of the jars this product comes in as I find lids an annoyance to screw back on properly. I would prefer a squeezy tube but that's really a minor consideration.

I have found this product is one of the best night creams I've used t at a price point that is relatively afffordable. I estimate I have half the jar left so looks like I'll get 6 weeks use out of 1 jar. Not bad!

As far as the claims it makes, they're fairly accurate. My skin looks and feels plumped and hydrated after use and when I wake up, it still feels amazing. It quite a heavy cream which works for my skin as it's rather dry and in need of the boost. The only claim on the packaging I think is unfounded is where it says it "fills wrinkles" that hasn't happened yet!

My overall thoughts are that it's affordable enough for me to repurchase and I have enjoyed the way my skin looks and feels after use.

Tips: If I find I scoop too much product out I have been wiping it on the backs of my hands and have noticed an improvement in the texture of my skin there too.

Noice Night Cream!

Now this product was something else! Firstly, it's a light purple colour! And unlike other night creams which can be heavy and greasy, the texture is so light. Like the rest of the range, it goes a long way so you don't need a lot of product. I would describe the perfume as floral. Not to overpowering but I wouldn't want to keep smelling it which fortunately I didn't. I love how it smoothed into my skin and didn't just sit on top of it. Not sure if it filled my wrinkles and sleep marks but it was definitely lovely to use and I will keep on using it. Definitely recommend.

Purple power

This comes in a nice heavy container with a screw top lid. Its purple a soft purple cream like silk in a pot, fragrance is a soft floral, this cream goes on so softly it slips around my cleansed skin, it soaks in so quickly( the first time I used it I stood in my bathroom waiting for my skin to go give me more as that’s my usual especially with such a light cream I’ve always gone for the heavy cream as I thought they were more moisturising but this does a fantastic job of making my skin look soft feel soft. It feels amazing moisturised without being left with a heavy cream sitting on top of my skin no clogging pores either. I use about a broad bean sized amount and gently work it in an upwards motion followed by a push in type pat. Plumper hydrated skin I really like it.

Softer, Smoother & Suppler Skin

The L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Filler Night Cream has a lovely thickish creamy but light consistency which gives a nice feel to it. It feels like a cross between a cream and a serum/gel. It is very easy to apply, rubs in easily and instantly gives your skin a wonderful moisturised and supple feeling which you can still feel the next morning. A little goes a long way so you don’t need to use much to get full coverage. This makes it pretty economical especially since it is quite well priced. It doesn't feel greasy although it does feel very slightly sticky when you first put it on but this feeling doesn’t last long as it absorbs very quickly into your skin. It makes your skin tingle very slightly but this disappears very quickly. It has a nice floral fragrance although it is perhaps a little bit too strong. It comes in a glass container, which I really like, and under the screw top lid there is a plastic cover with a tab to remove it with. This works well but I wonder if it might be easier and more practical if it came in a pump dispenser. The L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Filler Night Cream doesn’t remove your wrinkles but it definitely hydrates and plumps your skin which gives it a smoother and fresher appearance. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is worried about the appearance of their skin and is looking for a product to give their skin back its supple and fresh look.

Tips: Make sure you don't use too much as a little goes a long way.

Great review. It sounds nice. There's something about having a set of products to make a coordinated attack!
