e.l.f Brow Kit Review

when i first tried it it wasn't as pigmented as i wished it to be, it is perfect for a beginner although i don't see the use for the powder side i would only use the gel maybe its to set them ? not sure gave it away cause it wasn't for me but it is a nice product and you can't complain it is very affordable

Picked this product up after hearing good stuff about it and it definately has lived up to it's reviews. i prefer the gel side as it is very easy to use with. good pigmentation. I don't love the powder side as I feel it doesn't really do much for the brows, However I do love to use it as a transition colour on my eyes. Great product and easy to use!

Love this product, easy to use, so affordable and compact making it easy to keep with you on the run for those darn fly-aways. I use mostly the wax side, powder I use at times to set the wax. Definitly recomend this for anyone who hasnt tried brow products before and want to give it a go, great product to work with.

I used this product when I first started filling in my brows, it was great to use to learn the technique.monce I mastered it I was all about my brows and I was finding the product didn't last very long on my skin, I would have to touch up a lot and I ended up moving on to anastasia Beverly hills dipbrow. I still love elf brow kit and reccommend it to people who are beginners with their brows as it was very helpful for me in that aspect

I saw the reviews for this product the other day and I have been looking for an eyebrow kit for ages and thought I would give this one a go. I love love love it! its really simple and easy to use. It comes in three different shades I have the middle or medium shade and it fills by brows in really well. They are a lot more defined and bold. The only sort or negative thing I would say is that the brush is really small and a little awkward to hold. I found that it lasts a really long time and I haven't had to reapply it once it lasts all day! A breakdown of the product? It comes in a small black case with two sections one with a dark colored gel which you apply first and the other has a lighter powder which you use to set or finish the gel. It comes with a small double ended brush one edged for the gel and one looser brush for the powder. It also has a small mirror which is handy if your applying in your car or on the go.

I purchased the e.l.f Brow Kit from Kmart after reading rave reviews for quite some time. I had heard that this was the 'go-to' kit for affordability and great product.

I have been somewhat impressed, however I think reading hundreds of positive reviews and hearing that this kit was 'holy grail' may have been the trigger that left me a little underwhelmed.

The brow kit is housed in a plastic container with a wax on one side and a powder on the other. It also includes a little brush with a slanted edge and a small bristle brush on the other. I found the brush to be really handy, small, but useful! The powder is fairly average and I have used it only occasionally. The wax however is really good and matched my eyebrows so well. The wax filled in my eyebrows well and made them look very natural!

I have found that I prefer to use an eyebrow pencil and wiz - this may be a personal preference, but I find that this makes my brows look better and is easier to use than brow kits.

Overall I think the e.l.f kit is a great kit for its price but the application of it is not really my preference. For $10 what have you got to loose. If you can manage to see it on the shelf at Kmart give it a go!

This stuff is so cheap! absolutely love the price! lasts for ages and love the product! this stuff is very easy to use you can easily lightly define your brows or go for a bold look. I prefer this stuff over my expensive brow products. I found a few downsides this product does smudge so you do have to remember not to touch your eyebrows during the day! i also choose not to use the small brush it comes with as i find that hard to use. i use real techniques brushes with this product. Overall would recommend great value for money.

When I frist discovered the need for filling in my eyebrows, going back 4 or 5 years now, I was a high school student only just in the beginning of my now uncontrollable makeup buying obsession. However, I was only a high school student, working a very minimal 5-10 part time hours a week so money was very tight.

But after hours of youtube, I became very familiar with the ELF brand, and I just had to get my hands on the brow kit. How could I resist a product that had such great reviews for such a small price, and boy! I was NOT disappointed.

To this day, I still use the ELF Brow kit because I have yet to find anything that suits me better.

What I love most about the ELF kit is the tone of the product. So I use the kit in Medium and it's the perfect brown tone for me. The shade is on the cooler end of the scale which is perfect for someone like me who is ridiculously pastey white.

The consistancy of the 'gel' side in the product is perfect for allowing me to get a really precise brow, and the colour has just the right about of pigment for me to give me a natural filled in shape and not like I have giant, fake drawn on eyebrows (My brows are naturally big enough, I don't need them to stand out any more... haha)

So the kit does come with a powder as well, and in all honesty I don't really touch that side. Maybe if I was going for a really intense brow, I'd mix the gel side with the powder to get a more pigmented application but I ever so rarely do that.

The packaging, for me, is absolutely fine for the price of the product. Very sleek looking in the black and it's sturdy enough that it hasn't ever gotten damaged in my giant 'on the go' makeup bag. Which makes it perfect for travel. If it can stand the test of the 'suitcase' of makeup that I carry around in my handbag on a daily basis, then it can handle almost any terrain.

The only slight downside is the size of the little applicator that comes with it, but seriously who uses those anyway? The teeny tiny brushes that come with eyeshadow quads and kits like this, for me are in the bin within seconds.

For me to apply the product and get a really sharp result, I use a longer handle, synthetic angled brush and it works perfectly!

If you haven't tried this product, then I swear you NEED to. I wouldn't bother spending a ridiculous amount of $$ on the highend brow gels and pomades, when the ELF Eyebrow Kit is already amazing.

I brought this kit after hearing some good things about it and not wanting to spend much this looked to be a good option!

I was pleasantly surprised, I had been using my mac brow pencil previously and wondered if I would be disappointed going from a more high end brand to a much cheaper option.

I found both the gel and the powder were a good match for me in the shade Medium.

I used to use the Natio Brow Kit and this is basically a dupe for that but minus the clear brow wax the Natio one comes with.

This lasts ALL DAY (like seriously, I've slept with my brows on and in the morning it was still there). I don't bother setting it with the powder though - I use a brow pencil then fill in my brows with the wax and then set it with a brow gel.

The formula of the wax is great - it blends out really easily so you can go from full on brow to a more natural looking one. They do only have three(?) colours though so you might have to mix to get the right one you want.

For the price it is such a great product and I would totally recommend it to anyone.
