e.l.f Under Eye Concealer & Highlighter

I purchased this because Elf products have such a good reputation, and I was in the hunt for a good, under eye concealer. However, the concealer is quite thin, and once you put the highlighter over it it seems to dilute even more. So nearly covering nothing. The concealer itself is quite nice over a full coverage foundation, but only patted in with your ring finger. I think the highlighter is good for all over face highlighting but only if applied with a brush or patted in.

This is a good combo as it has both concerler and a higlighter but there isnt much in each part so will run out fast. I am quite a fan of Elf products but this concealer is a bit thin so doesnt do a good job as other concealers would.

Love the highlighter but not really a fan of the concealer as it's a bit too dark for me. I use it when I feel like having a dewy base and I apply the highlight to the tops of my cheekbones and my cupids bow. I find that it's more subtle than a powder highlight and it looks beautiful and natural. It's super cheap as well, I buy mine off iherb for like $3 and it's totally worth it. It has a doe foot applicator which I find really helpful when applying to my cheekbones as it doesn't apply too much.

I was looking for a good under eye concealer to hide my dark circles and picked this one up for very cheap. It has turned out to be one of my favorite drugstore under eye concealers! It goes on so smoothly and blends well. It covers my dark circles but at the same time looks nice and natural. :D I use it all the time and might purchase it again after this one runs out! However the other side- the highlighter. Is just odd. I have tried it multiple time and it seems it just makes my eyebags stand out more! I think it actually make me look more tired! So overall i really loved the concealer but hated the highlighter. I really wish i could just buy the concealer by itself!! That would be extremely handy!!

I love the concealer in this product, however the highlighter doesn't do what most highlighters should do. The concealer provides great coverage (I apply it underneath my eyes to brighten that area) but the highlighter is quite a milky texture and doesn't 'highlight' your face. I suppose I use the concealer more of a highlighter, to brighten under my eyes and around my nose etc.

I had this on my watchlist on Trade Me and my partner surprised me and purchased it. I've never used a concealer before so this was my first experience trying it. I've heard about Elf having it's highs and lows before but this did not deter me from giving it a try.

This concealer comes in a double ended tube. One side is concealer and the other is higlighter. The outside of this tube has Elf on it as well as the highlighter and concealer written on it so you can tell which side it is. I chose medium. The consistency is like a liquid foundation. The highlighter reminds me of a moisturiser consistency but liquid.

When I apply this I dot it across my under eye and make a line down from my inner eye down beside my nose. I do the same thing on the other side. The highlighter, I dot this down my nose , put more on my forehead light dots as well as my chin and upper lip. I blend this all out with my real techniques sponge.

I found the concealer to last me all day long. I did experience slight creasing on the outer part of my under eye. As for the opposite eye, there was no creasing at all. The highlighter for me lacks shimmer. I tried to place emphasis with this but it failed for me.

Price wise I think it is affordable. So far I've managed to get three applications from it. There's still plenty of product remaining in the tube. I did enjoy this concealer but not the highlighter because it didn't make my face look highlighted. If your after something affordable definitely give this a try.

During my hunt for cruelty-free/vegan products I came across this little cutie sitting in KMart. For a measly $6.99 how could I say no?

The concealer end of this is packed with a generous amount of product, with a handy little applicator which disperses the product well. It was the perfect shade for my very pale skin, and great at lightening the under eye area. I would say that this concealer loses points for its blemish-covering abilities, however. It doesn't do a very good job at that, leaving blemishes quite red and prominent without the help of foundation.

As for the highlighting end - I don't think I'll be using this end much! It's more of a shimmer gloss, and not really something I use as part of my makeup routine.

I purchased this on a whim after seeing lots of stuff on highlighting and since I needed a concealer i thought I'd give it a go. I liked that it had a concealer and highlight in the same tube takes up less space. It's pretty cheap which was another bonus. I didn't actually find the product did very much for my make up and has since started collecting dust :( over all I found it ok but nothing to brag about

I picked this up while traveling in the US as it was extremely cheap. The under eye concealer isn't too bad, although there are some similarly priced drug store brands I like better. It was quite useful while traveling having both thee concealer and highlighter. However, the highlighter isn't one I would use regularly and I'm not a fan of liquid highlighters in general.

I bought this concealer with some other stuff from ELF at really good price. Competitive price is always the biggest attraction of ELF and I enjoy using most of their products. Unfortunately this may be my least favourite product. The concealer is runny and the highlighter does not work. A highlighter is supposed to be shimmering or at least "highlight" some areas. But the highlighter is like a transparent liquid. After two attempts to use this, I gave up
