Remember when unicorns were a thing? Ok, they still are. But for a bit there it felt wherever I turned I was seeing unicorns and unicorn beauty and unicorn hair. The same thing happened with beards. They went from being something a bloke might grow out for a change, or something they always had as they enjoyed the look, to something that men obsessed over, growing them right out lumberjack style, dying them, adding baubles… Well lately, it appears the beauty world has gone truly gaga for rainbows. Instagram, Pinterest, beauty websites, they’re all awash with brilliant colours. So what rainbow trends are hot or have been hot and continue to be so? Check these out…

With its gorgeous multicolour hues it’s unlike anything we’ve ever seen before – and apparently the world needed an illuminator like this because it’s sold out. Love the look of freckles? Take it to the next level with rainbow freckles! Dot your favourite colours over your nose and cheeks for a fresh and fun take on fake freckles.
It’s not just the cheeks that are getting the rainbow treatment, the eyes are too with rainbow lashes becoming more and more mainstream. You can create the look yourself by using different coloured mascaras or pick up a pair of falsies. The result? Lashes worth batting!
