Have you been to a beauty salon recently where the service knocked your socks off? Where the people were polite and friendly, the product they were offering, whether it be a haircut, eyebrow shape or massage, was sensational? Where you walked out feeling like a million dollars. Or maybe it was more of a case of surly service, subpar product, and an ‘I am never going back there every again’ moment.

Whichever experience you’ve enjoyed or been subjected to, we want to know about it. In fact, we think everyone deserves to know about it. That’s why we’ve the wonderful Salon Review area where you can give your ‘cheers’ or ‘not going there’ reviews.

Can’t see the beauty salon featured? You can add it yourself, and for every salon you add or review you’ll receive 15 points. There is a wee bit of fine print attached - we do ask that you only add salons you’ve had an experience with, and to not add salons you’re affiliated with.

There’s a flipside to the salon reviews too, not only can you share your experience, you can look up others on our beauty map. So if you’ve moved to a new area or are thinking about changing up your hairdresser or nail technician you can have check out the local salons and get real reviews from real women. What’s that about saying about word of mouth?

I go to cut loose hair salon in Dunedin.the girls are always friendly.you find yourself engaging in chatter with other clients as well as the stylists.they are easy to get advice from and i always come away feeling and looking great.It is very theraputic

Oh I haven't looked at the salon reviews before, how interesting. My local one is on there and I'm going to go and get their price list just out of curiosity. I'm thinking about having my eye lashes tinted but just a tad nervous, understandably I suppose. The last time I went to a salon it was for a hair cut, very reasonably priced too. I'm going to see if I can find it now :)

Every time I get my nails or eye brows done I like to add a review to he site. I enjoy doing this. I also like to look for salons that other people have tried. Then I can have a look if its worth going or not.

I reviewed the salon I go to (unfortunately can only afford to go once every 6 months, sometimes longer between visits) - it's awesome and my hairdresser rocks!!

This section came in handy when I was looking for a new hair salon in Auckland. Even though the ones I was interested in at the time didn't have reviews it atleast made me aware and I could do my own research outside of BR. Happy to say I've reviewed my go-to salons for hair and waxing.
