Have you tried eye shadow transfers before?

Do you watch YouTube beauty gurus blending their eyeshadows into amazing looks and wish you could acheive the same result?

If you're even slightly heavy handed like me you probably end up looking like a clown or a cabaret performer 9 times out of 10. Where to place the right shades, how and where to blend.  It's a skill that's for sure!

Enter Eyeshadow Transfers.  Or Eyeshadow Tattoos.  Or Eyeshadow Stickers.  These pre-powdered transfers have done the hard work for you, by placing the shades in the right place.  All you need to do is apply them!

Well we're super curious - who's used them?  Do they work well?  Have you created great looks using eyeshadow transfers or did you find them less than great?

I remember years ago when chichi brought out the eyeshadow transfers, they looked cool but a big step out of my comfort zone so never tried them.

I've seen these before and while I think the concept is quite cool, when I've watched people on yt use them, it doesn't come off as cool as the ads show! You still need to blend them out a lot and I kind of feel like if you know how to blend out eyeshadow, then you should be pretty sweet applying your own anyway.

I have tried them years ago when they came out and found they didn't go on to easily, although they could have changed lots since then, I would still try them out again :)

I have seen these on the shelves but have never picked a packet up to even look at. Mainly because I usually don't have much occasion to wear such a full eye coverage... but also the concept looked a tad scary. Keen to know what the BR Beauties think of them because if they work well it could save a heck of a lot of time :)

At first I thought what a great idea! But then quickly realised they would end up like most quick fixes, fairly bad, not fitting properly, not applying properly & I'd probably spend more time applying & fixing than I had if I'd just tried the look with the real products!

I havnt used these before but every time I pop into Farmers, I always find myself looking at the Chi Chi ones but end up putting them back on the shelf as I know I will stuff it up and it will be a waste of money which is tight right now. Will be following this article though to see what everyone else thinks? I'm defiantly keen to try them but also wonder about the fact that they look quite big and everyone has different shaped eye etc so am wondering how it works

No I haven't tried these. I have seen them before though. I would be interested to see if they last as long as normal powdered to creme eyeshadow. It would save a lot of time though, especially because I'm not good at blending or smokey eyes at all. They only problem I'd have is whether they can be used for all eye shapes and types (e.g hooded eyelids). I imagine you would have to position the strip perfectly too, so as to not make it look wonky!

I've seen them before but never used them. My concern would be that there are different eye sizes and shapes. I have really small eyes and hooded lids and I think so if I used the average sticker you wouldn't really see all the awesome shading since half the shadow would be missing since I don't have enough of a crease or eyelid. Also I think those are a bit expensive for everyday wear as in the cost per use compared to a eye shadow palette.
