Retinol is scientifically proven as an anti-ageing ingredient, and once you get adjusted to using Retinol in your skin care routine, it's likely to become your favourite ingredient.

However Retinol isn't a straightforward ingredient - you need to introduce it slowly and give your skin time to build up a tolerance to it.  Otherwise you face drying, peeling, redness and the dread Retinol burn!

These not-wanted side effects are the reasons why people with dry or sensitive skin might avoid Retinol - but luckily there are ways to introduce and use Retinol even if your skin type is less than favourable to it.

Introducing the new Garnier Green Labs Retinol-Berry range!

The Garnier Green Labs Retinol-Berry Cream Cleanser is perfect for dry and sensitive skin. It's an effective yet extra gentle cleanser that fully removes makeup, dirt, impurities and SPF, softening the skin while cleansing.

The Garnier Green Labs Retinol-Berry Serum Cream iis the perfect way to Introduce retinol into your skincare routine. This product is formulated to provide the benefits of retinol without over-drying the skin.  It's three products in one; a night cream, a retinol serum, and an eye cream!

If you'd like to put your hand up for this trial team tell us about your experiences with Retinol - have you tried it?  Or is something you've avoided due to your skin being dry or sensitive - or even both?

I've avoided because I get my upper lip hair lasered off lol

I have been nervous to try Retinol as I have had a couple of friends not react well to it. However, it is something that interests me. I am always willing to try something new and have found my skin has been so much healthier since introducing other serums such vitamin C into my routine.

My skin can lean a little sensitive, so I've always been careful about my use of retinol and how often I use it. This looks like a really nice alternative for those of us whose skin can play up the sensitivity from time to time! I'm always looking for new products to help fight the early signs of ageing but that won't be too harsh, so would love to give these a go!

I’m not avoiding anything t. I starting using retinol 6 months ago. But as I have sensitive skin I only use it ever 2-3 days. I would love to give this a go!

I'm not avoiding it, I've never even heard of it!

No I haven't tried it yet because I've been trying Vitamin C products first but now my skin is tolerating Vitamin C very well, I'm looking forward to incorporating retinol into my skincare routine and alternating between the two. I would like to try the Garnier Green Labs Retinol-Berry cleanser and cream because seem like an ideal way to try out retinol

My skin has turned very dry & sensitive due to the meds I take. I get very nervous about what I'm going to put on it. Sometimes its impossible to get enough moisture into my face & I still have massive dry spots.

I have dry sensitive skin so would love to give this product a try! It sounds amazing to have a great combo of removing makeup, impurities and SPF! Would love to see how well this works :)

This sounds perfect for my skin. My face is not usually happy when I try out new products, especially heavily fragrance products. My smile lines have also become more visible over the year, and I am slightly self conscious of them. Would love to try this product to see the benefits it would have on my skin.

I have super dry skin so would be great to see if this can work, improve my skin but not dry it out!

20th April, 2022

I have heard of Retinol but am yet to try it, I have very dry and sensitive skin on my face and have struggled to find any product that suits. Three products in one, sounds almost too good to be true!

The triple action serum sounds good to slowly introduce the retinol. I have used it before and did notice it was potent so had to be used gradually, would love to try it in a serum overnight

Yes I have dry, sensitive skin and I use a retinol product only 2-3 times a week to avoid dryness and irritation.
