Retinol is scientifically proven as an anti-ageing ingredient, and once you get adjusted to using Retinol in your skin care routine, it's likely to become your favourite ingredient.

However Retinol isn't a straightforward ingredient - you need to introduce it slowly and give your skin time to build up a tolerance to it.  Otherwise you face drying, peeling, redness and the dread Retinol burn!

These not-wanted side effects are the reasons why people with dry or sensitive skin might avoid Retinol - but luckily there are ways to introduce and use Retinol even if your skin type is less than favourable to it.

Introducing the new Garnier Green Labs Retinol-Berry range!

The Garnier Green Labs Retinol-Berry Cream Cleanser is perfect for dry and sensitive skin. It's an effective yet extra gentle cleanser that fully removes makeup, dirt, impurities and SPF, softening the skin while cleansing.

The Garnier Green Labs Retinol-Berry Serum Cream iis the perfect way to Introduce retinol into your skincare routine. This product is formulated to provide the benefits of retinol without over-drying the skin.  It's three products in one; a night cream, a retinol serum, and an eye cream!

If you'd like to put your hand up for this trial team tell us about your experiences with Retinol - have you tried it?  Or is something you've avoided due to your skin being dry or sensitive - or even both?

I do have sensitive skin but as I get older I’m always on the lookout for a gentle cleanser with added benefits and this sounds great - I’d love to see if this one works for my skin!

I have never used Rentinol before, not quit sure what it is, but would love to try it

I've never used Retinol and have been unsure about it as I haven't had many wrinkles...until now! The time has come to give it a go so I would love to trial these products as Garnier formulations are always great and effective. I hear that it is a very good product to use on lines and wrinkles.

Yes I have avoided this one . Ill pass on this one

Been hearing a lot about retinol lately, keen to learn more!

Nope, totally not avoiding. However, I've only used a serum from The Ordinary, and one Dermalogica product. I wonder about the cleanser though, if it would have any benefit, as it doesn't stay on the skin.

I have tried retinol before and my skin seems to tolerate it ok BUT I have psoriasis so prefer to use products with less nasties. I feel like this would be the better option for me

I have a avoided Retinol a tiny bit. I have sensitive skin that I’m worried will dry out if I use retinol. No one likes a dry flakey face. However I like the fact that this introduces things slowly. With the added bonus of cleansing aswell! Therefore I would love to be a part of this trial to put it to the test!

I have been using bakuchiol and it has been great. I have faint lines on my forehead and it had significantly improved the appearance and diminished the wrinkles. I have yet to see any effect in hyperpigmentation. Would be great to try this and see how it affects my wrinkles and hyperpigmentation

I haven't yet tried retinol, because I'm worried about a bad reaction. My skin isn't super sensitive, but it can be a bit. Retinol is something I'd be interested in trying to help fade pigmentation.

Coming into the cooler months i would definitely like to try this, Have used retinol before but dont use over summer as Im a bit scared of burn combined with the sun.

I’ve never tried it but I have sensitive skin so hadn’t really thought about it

Haven't tried any products containing Retinol but I do know my poor old skin needs it! My skin can be a bit sensitive but I would love to try this product to see if Retinol is something I could use (I'm sure it would be ok), as this sounds like a great regime!!
