Going blonde isn't a low maintenance choice.  We all know the regrowth is a pain to keep up with, and of course, how many 'I wrecked my hair' horror stories have we heard?

But let's say you don't mind the upkeep, and have kept your hair healthy, is that all there is to being blonde? Nope.  Unless you've stumbled upon the perfect shade, you're going to need to tone.

Toner cancels out and corrects unwanted tones in your hair, from brassy or yellow, to orange or ash.  Toney evens out your hair colour - it's especially important if you've had your regrowth done, other wise you're risking blonde stripes.  Toner also 'seals' your colour, adding incredible shine.  Think of it as a topcoat!

We're putting Brilliant Silver White Hair Toner to the test.  This at-home product claims to be the fastest and easiest toner around - which lets be honest, is always a selling point when it comes to hair colour products!

All you need to do is add a few drops of Brilliant Silver White to a jug of warm water and pour over your hair.  No washing, no rinsing.  When your hair is dried you'll see the full results - no more yellow or brassy tones for up to 6 washes!

Here's some facts about Brilliant Silver White:

  • There's 30 applications in each bottle.
  • It can be used on blonde and grey hair.
  • It adds softness and shine.
  • It is certified cruelty free and Vegan by Peta.

So...we need some blondies to give this a go and tell us...is the hype real?  Can you get your best blonde hair, ever, in just a few seconds?

Ive only recently dyed my hair blonde and have only started using toners, so im keen to test this one out to see if it is any different to the others I have.

Oh my god I would love to try this. I use purple shampoo currently and am constantly turning my hair lilac whoops. or running out and ending up very brassy (I used to have bright red dyed hair). This sounds like an easier alternative.

I have recently gone back to blonde and I know that toner is one of the most important hair care products for blondes!

I would love to tone my friends hair as I highlight her hair she has thick curly hair past her bottom, it takes about three hours to do a full head of foils on her hair and she has six children so it would help her a lot to look more beautiful :-)

I am going white naturally and would love to try something new to stop the brassy look that seems to happen in the summer. I'd love to be brilliant silver white too!

I only ever use a toning shampoo & conditioner for my blonde hair. Currently I am trying NAK Blonde Plus but my favourite to date is Fudge Clean Blonde. I would love to give this a whirl and give you a very honest review.

This stuff sounds magical! I currently use Fudge's purple shampoo and I'm happy with the results but I do notice a slight purple tinge until about the 2nd or 3rd wash and I have to do this about once a week to keep the yellowness away - always up for trying something new! I love the idea that there is no washing involved in this :)

Ohhh my gosh. I would love love love love this trial. My hair is so brassy at the moment. I much prefer being a cool blonde as opposed to being a warm one.. I usually get my hair toned when I get foils at the hairdresser, which I haven't done in while as I am looking for a new hairdresser so it would be awesome to do it at home.

Where do you buy from this from? And will be it be up for review soon? I can't find it anywhere :-/

I always bleach and tone my hair at home, I'm currently using fudge clean blonde toning shampoo, it does a pretty good job but I need something just a teeny bit stronger to get rid of those stubborn yellow tones. Would love to give this a go x

Would love to try this product for my newly white blond hair :)

I tone my blondes at home to keep them looking fresh between colours. I always love new options and ones that work really quickly and effectively. This sounds awesome, especially as you don't need to shower to apply it!

If you still need more people I would like to try this. I am recent convert to swarzkopf lightening spray so I have medium brown underneath and dark blonde golden brown on top. Thanks

I have tried a couple of different toning products, but I haven't heard of the above one! Toning is completely necessary if you want to maintain the salon blonde, or even if you do your own blonde hair at home.

Would love to try this product out, have tried a few others before which do similiar but always keen to try new brands to see what works better with results
