Do You Regularly Use a Serum?

I remember when serums were an extra step in my skin care routine that required remembering and effort.  Now, they're THE step in my skin care routine.  If I could only buy one product for the rest of my life it would be a serum.

Thicker than a liquid but thinner than a cream, a serum doesn't replace a product in your skincare routine - you introduce a serum to take advantage of the highly concentrated active ingredients and deep penetrating formula.

Serums are often introduced as a 'cure' or 'rescue' when your skin is already showing the signs of ageing, but they can be used earlier to help prevent the signs too.  Regular use of the right serum can prove invaluable in the fight against lines, wrinkles and age spots.  They can also help reduce the appearance of scarring and even skin tone.  Serums can also be really impactful at targeting specific skin issues such a dull skin, rosecea, or acne.

And wouldn't you know it we have ourselves a serum going out for review!

Garnier’s Vitamin C Brightening Serum is enriched with [3.5%] Vitamin C*, Niacinamide & Salicylic Acid and promises to reduce the appearance of dark spots and enhance glow.  It also contains Lemon Extract, a powerful superfood known for its brightening properties.

The formula has been carefully blended to provide dark-spot action without being heavy or greasy on the skin and has been scientifically proven to reduce dark spots and acne mark appearance.  It is formulated to suit all skin types and tones, and is dermatologically tested.

Oh and all Garnier products are officially approved by Cruelty Free International - so it's kind to the fluffies too!

So if you'd like to put your hands up for this trial team (if we can keep them away from the Beauty Crew!) why not get chatting to us about your serum experience.  Do you regularly use a serum?  For what problem and what results have you seen?  If you don't use a serum, why not?

I’ve never tried a serum, but you like to. As a busy mum of five kids I’ve recently notice the lack of sleep and every day running around with them is taking a toll on my skin, with fine lines and wrinkles starting to show

I have always wanted to try a vitamin C serum but am worried to spend a lot of money on it for it not to work. I would love to try this product as I have scars from acne that dampen my confidence to be makeup free. This product would be amazing if it really does help with my scarring it could be a life changer!

I use a vitamin c moisturiser and love it. I will always use vitamin c, I love the smell of them. They can be very expensive so I have been trying some more affordable ones the last few months. Including one I picked up at Cracker Jack which I quite like, but it doesn’t have that amazing vit C smell the really nice ones have, the $150 a pot ones lol! A serum sounds fabulous amd I would be thrilled to try it out. Hoping it has a nice smell and absorbs really well. Because great priced good vit C for the skin is hard to find!

Nope But I would love to give this a go to keep my fine lines at bay!

This would be great to be able to try on my uneven dull skin. I'm all for skin brightening products and I've heard great things about the added bonus of vitamin C.

This product would be very interesting to try as I have dark spots on my face that I would like to see activation through a vitC serum. My current routines have a small serum focus but bringing in a new nutrient might just do wonders, and as my face has acne marks, a new glow would boost my own self confidence too! I’d love to share with people how it effects younger skin and post acne complexions :)

Would love to try this product! I have just started using the Antipodes vitamin c serum that I got given as a gift with purchase so would be great to compare it with this one. I have got a few dark spots so would be great to try a serum that targets them!! The texture of a serum and how it feels when you apply it, along with seeing results is important so am keen to try this one.

Oh this sounds like exactly what I need without even knowing I needed it! I have a few little dark patches that have arrived out of nowhere on my skin and would love to target them with a serum to make them reduce or go away.

I do try and use a serum every day but at the moment on the hunt for a new one.

I currently use a couple of different serums by The Ordinary which I love and I would love to add this one to my routine! I’ve never tried a vitamin c brightening serum but it sounds like I need to!

I've tried to incorporate them more as I age, at 35 I really need to boost my skincare regime, starting to notice larger pores and spots seem to take longer to fade so this might be perfect for my morning routine!

Serums are all that I need. The best skin care product ever created. Would like to put my hand up for this please.

Serums are expensive and there are so many to choose from its hard to know what to buy. I know j need to reintroduce one to my skin routine but what one? My beauty therapist just tries to make me buy the stores line which is a $400 serum, I just can't justify it. I'd love to try this Garnier product
