Do you always use an eyelash curler?

Ask any girl for her top makeup products and mascara is bound to be close to the top of the list.   Just a touch of mascara can open and brighten the eyes, making you look and feel like you're at least halfway human!

But how many people would rate an eyelash curler as one of their top makeup products?  For many people weilding a metal clamp near their eyes is a hurdle they'd rather not jump over.  But oh - if you take that leap you'll probably never look back - instead you'll face the world head on, with beautifully curled lashes, that look thicker and more full.

Trust us, NO mascara can accomplish alone the level of lash game that it would when paired with an eyelash curler - and you'll be pleased to know, times have moved on - they no longer look like instruments of torture!

We're going to be putting the Glam by Manicare Heated Eyelash Curler to the test.

This nifty beauty tool will accentuate your eyes and achieve dramatically curled and lifted lashes that last all day!  This heated lash curler 'has tech smart' silicone pads that heat to a warm and precise temperature to safely and gently lift and curl lashes in seconds.  The pads change colour from pink to clear, so you'll know when they're ready to use!

The curved dual silicone pads cushion and protect lashes without crimping, pulling or damaging.  You can use it to curl natural and false lashes.  This handy gadget is powered by 2 AAA batteries*.

So if this sounds like a trial team you'd like to be a part of, why not tell us your experiences with eyelash curlers.  Do you religiously use one as part of your makeup routine?  Or maybe you've never tried one - what's stopping you?

Get chatting below and you could find yourself trialing this fabulous sounding tool and fluttering the most beautiful eyelashes of your life!

*If selected for this trial team you'll need to be sure you have a couple of AAA batteries handy!

I have tried eyelash curlers in the past but they didn't seem to make any difference to my lashes.....maybe I was doing it wrong? I would love to try heated ones as I'm sure the heat must make a difference to how well they curl. I can't have lash extensions as the glue seems to make my eyes water so badly when they are being fitted that I have given up so these would be the next best thing!

Oh my gosh, finally they have arrived and available in NZ. I used to buy these from the states and loved them. Have been using the traditional one the last five years or so and I heat the pad up with my hairdryer. Would love to try this new heated curler!

I have an eyelash curler and always found it a bit of a faff. Perhaps I’m not using it correctly or it just doesn’t give me the results that a modern heated version would give! My lashes sure do need assistance when I’m not able to get extensions in lockdown. I might just pick up old curler and try again - you’ve inspired me!

I have never used an eyelash curler because quite simply they frighten me and I am scared of pulling my eyelashes out instead of curling them. This gadget could well change my opinion because it looks more comfortable and easier to use so I would love to put my hand up for this please.

I have straight eyelashes that almost point down. Every 6 weeks I have to spend $110 getting a lash perm or I look like a horse. On nights out, I have to use my hairdryer to heat up my curlers then I risk burning my lashes off my crimping them. Looks ugly as they turn into 90 degree sharp angles. Please can I be considered to trial this product

Honestly I've been terrified of using the traditional curlers! But this looks so much more sleek and controlled. I always sleep on my right side so my right eyelashes are smooshed and look crazy. Not even mascara can save them! I've been considering using a lash curler to see if that helps, but this heated one definitely gives me less anxiety!

Would sooooo love to try this, after having false lashes for ages I discovered with a great mascara and eyelash curler my natural lashes aren't to bad. The idea of a heated eyelash curler sounds Awesome. I wonder if they would keep their curler longer

I tried one when I was a teenager but haven’t tried since! This one sounds pretty fancy - I’d love to check it out!

I always have to use eyelash curlers otherwise my eyes look like I'm falling asleep! My teenage daughter has the same problem, and although I've bought her her own pair, her eyelashes are still flat. I would love the chance to trial this wondrous-looking machine to see if could curl my lashes and lift them so it makes my eyes look bigger and me more alert!

Oh this will be a dream to trial! I have very straight lashes that almost nothing works, even if I curl it nicely it flattens within hours. So far the best way I've tried is using hair dryer to heat up the curler before using on my lashes but sometimes it does burn the eyelids a bit, would be keen to try this!

I would love the chance to review this eyelash curler! I use a plain metal one everyday as I have pretty short and straight eyelashes. Most of the time I either use the hot water/hair dryer hacks to heat them up so I get a better curl! Would love to see how well this stacks up against the tried and tested heating methods, especially being a portable device. Will be very interesting to see how big and bulky it feels compared to the traditional lash curler! Good luck to everyone who put their hands up

I don't use one and have only tried them once or twice. Would love to trial this one to see if I can do it and if it's as easy as people say. Would love to see what effect they have on my lashes.

I use an eyelash curler every day because my eyelashes are dead straight. I just use a standard clamp curler and its ok if i put mascara on straight away and kind of seal the curl, but it doesnt tend to last. The other thing I hate is that i often clamp my eyelid too so which hurts, makes my eyes water and then i have to wait too long to put mascara on. I also have a heated one - but it is just a very old wand one so you kind of brush your lashes like you would with mascara. If I hold it down and kind of fold my eyelashes over it works really well and keeps my eyelashes curled for longer, but its a real pain to use. But a heated clamp curler - i would be super keen to try! I love curling my eyelashes. I have used an eyelash serum and grown them really long, so now they look amazing when I curl them. So yes please, I would love to review a heated curler!

I regularly use a eyelash curler, but when I want them to curl really well, I often run mine under hot water before curling, because I find the heat really helps make it more effective. A heated eyelash curler makes complete sense! While I'm lucky to have naturally dark lashes, they are very straight! Occasionally I'll get a lash lift because I love how curled my lashes can get. I'd love the chance to review this beauty tool!

I've never used an eyelash curler. I'd be keen to try one and see what the results are.
