Ask any girl for her top makeup products and mascara is bound to be close to the top of the list.   Just a touch of mascara can open and brighten the eyes, making you look and feel like you're at least halfway human!

But how many people would rate an eyelash curler as one of their top makeup products?  For many people weilding a metal clamp near their eyes is a hurdle they'd rather not jump over.  But oh - if you take that leap you'll probably never look back - instead you'll face the world head on, with beautifully curled lashes, that look thicker and more full.

Trust us, NO mascara can accomplish alone the level of lash game that it would when paired with an eyelash curler - and you'll be pleased to know, times have moved on - they no longer look like instruments of torture!

We're going to be putting the Glam by Manicare Heated Eyelash Curler to the test.

This nifty beauty tool will accentuate your eyes and achieve dramatically curled and lifted lashes that last all day!  This heated lash curler 'has tech smart' silicone pads that heat to a warm and precise temperature to safely and gently lift and curl lashes in seconds.  The pads change colour from pink to clear, so you'll know when they're ready to use!

The curved dual silicone pads cushion and protect lashes without crimping, pulling or damaging.  You can use it to curl natural and false lashes.  This handy gadget is powered by 2 AAA batteries*.

So if this sounds like a trial team you'd like to be a part of, why not tell us your experiences with eyelash curlers.  Do you religiously use one as part of your makeup routine?  Or maybe you've never tried one - what's stopping you?

Get chatting below and you could find yourself trialing this fabulous sounding tool and fluttering the most beautiful eyelashes of your life!

*If selected for this trial team you'll need to be sure you have a couple of AAA batteries handy!

I used to use an eyelash curler but I just never found them to work so I gave up but I would really love to give this a whirl and see how it goes and how long lasting the curl is!!! What a fantastic idea!

I always use a lash curler, but it doesn't stay curled for long. This sounds like it'd be a much better fit. Would love to give it a go!

I used to use eye lash curlers when I was younger but didn't find the regular ones to be very effective. This sounds like a much better method. I'd love to give it a go!

I love eyelash curlers! When I was younger I used to heat mine with a hairdryer before curling. Now I don't have that kind of time...

I regularly use the cheap old eyelash curler but i find if you dont rush to put mascara on or hold it in the curler long enough they dont get the volume you need! Would love to see the reviews on this so i can see if its worth the extra investment!

Pretty curious to see the feedback on this one! Being stuck in level 3 my face has been given rest from cosmetics but need to order another eye lash curler before we go back to the office.

This looks really interesting. I’ve used a normal eyelash curler but not a heated one! Be great to try!

I have tried the traditional metal lash curlers for my short lashes. I have had yumi lash lift with lash tint a few times last few years and like curled effect. As a mum of 2 I look for products that save me time but it is expensive. I haven’t used a lash curler in a long time but would love to try this product as it seems like it would also save time and money compared to the other options.

I feel like I naturally have quite straight lashes, and so I always use an eyelash curler before applying my makeup every day. This product especially intrigues me because I always warm up my lash curler with my hairdryer before I use it! I find it's much more effective when it's warm, so I think I'll really enjoy having a curler that heats itself instead!

This looks amazing!!!!

Omg I love the idea of this! I have an eye lash curler, somewhere in the bottom of a drawer - but haven't felt like this made any noticeable difference in the past. But I imagine a heated one would create noticeable results!

OMG Me me me! I tried a cheap one ages ago and it worked great (until it broke on about the 5th use). I have really straight floopy eye lashes and I found the heated one helped curl a lot better than standard curlers. This one looks really sturdy too unlike the plastic $5 one I tried.

I love fake eyelashes and use them when going out but a tool that could lift my own safely? Heck yes! How good would that be????

I love the effect of an eyelash curler,as my eyes are quite small they really give them a larger appearance when the are curled, but I haven't used a lash curler in ages after pinching my eyelid in one of the old metal, scissor-like contraptions! OUCH! This looks like a fantastic curler and much more user friendly! I love the way it changes colour too! I hope I get chosen for this trial team.

With the heat added it reminds me of the old add a hair dryer under your lashes or heat up your curler with one haha I would try it but my lashes are so short I'd have to put Mascara on first for sure
