Garnier 5 Second Perfect Blur Review

I was upset when they discontinued this as it was my go to supermarket primer, it was affordable and lasted ages.

It wasn’t the best primer but for the price and convenience I loved it. Shrunk my pores and makeup looked nice after application

As far as primers go, this product is not too bad. Not great but not too bad for a cheap supermarket brand. It did minimise my pores but not so much my fine lines. The small package size does not go very far for me.

It feels kind of rubberry almost, and just made my skin feel like it had a layer of silicone on it. It does dry on quite velvety, and it did semi almost blurr my imperfections, but trying to apply anything on top such as BB Cream just kind of left my skin feeling suffocated. A little too expensive for what I got out of it

I'm not really sure what this product is meant to be, if it is a primer it really should come in a bigger tube for the price I paid for it. It definitely did blur my pores, I noticed it almost instantly but my makeup didn't apply as I would have liked over top of it, kind of slid around and made it hard to blend. Has an almost waxy feeling on the skin. On a good skin day I would wear this alone but I'm not a fan of wearing it under makeup unfortunately.

I honestly love this product it's so nice on my skin and has a good texture. I love using it as a base for my makeup. The price is great in my opinion. I would definitely recommend it

Nothing magical about the product in my opinion. Just another average product. It is a average primer. Not so much my go to as it kind of made my skin dry out fast and wasnt so smooth on my skin. I did find it nice and lightweight though.

This was one of the first supermarket primer I purchased. I was not sure what to expect compared to the more expensive ones I had used.

It comes in a cute wee eye catching tube, 30mls a good size if you need something for traveling.

Once on my face the results were not great. It didn't have any blurring effect on my pores or wrinkles. They were still visible, infact it made my pores look larger. It worked ok as a base for my make-up however it didn't improve the longevity of it. It felt rather waxy in texture and needed a bit of work to rub in. I noticed some pilling of my make-up as well so not ideal.

Not a bad price however it is a small tube and doesn't live up to its claims. I would not repurchase this.

This definitely made my skin smooth and created a good base for me to put make-up over, but I was hoping it would help with my complexion and the appearance of my pores - it did not. I would use it again if I as after a cheap primer, but not for anything else. Not bad, just not great.
