What is this birthday business?? I've had a club card for years and never gotten a present - in fact, they've never asked me for my birthday at any point. Oh well, that's awesome that they give gifts out though!

I never knew about the birthday gift either, how nice of Farmers.....however sadly I don't get to shop there often enough due to being rural so my card just sits in my wallet and looks pretty :)

Well, I just had my birthday and have had my Farmers Club Card for years, and have never received a gift from them, so I will update my details, this is the first I have heard of them giving a gift for birthdays.

I love my farmers card! For my birthday gifts iv gotten hand cream and a photo frame! One year I got offered a candle for my birthday gift but I didn't bother! I rush the farmers club days weren't always on a Thursday although I love the deals they have, because the closest farmers in like 40 minutes away from home, it hard to justify!!
Whaaaaat?! I've been a member for a decade and never got a gift!

The rewards system is cool but I don't like the fact that points expire a year after you get them. I don't shop at Farmers often enough to manage to get a reward.

I was very lucky, this year I got a free Elizabeth Arden special makeup and nails done on my birthday and some Elizabeth Arden goodies. I was in Farmers about a week before my birthday and mentioned, when I was buying an Elizabeth Arden eye pencil, that I was enjoying treating myself as I was going to be 50 the following week. Since the specialist make up artist for Elizabeth Arden was touring NZ, they booked me in to have my makeup done with her with the new Limited Edition Collection just out.
Ive been a member for years and only this year realised you can get a birthday gift, but you need to tick the box in your account settings to recieve emails, I got a voucher for a pen which I didnt bother going in to get haha.

This year for my birthday month is was some crystal pen. Not as exciting as a candle or handcream but still useful.

The Farmers club card is well worth having, I go a lil bit crazy $$ when there is double points on offer in Health & Beauty. This year I got a shower gel for my birthday gift.

Wow, I've been with Farmers for years now and never received anything.  Actually come to think of I don't even receive any correspondence.

I went online to check points etc just before and I can't even get onto my account.  I've had to email them to sort it out because it says I need to add an email to my account, I submit it and and nothing happens.

Would be lovely if you received a gift for your birthday especially as mine is tomorrow lol, how lovely of them though.  Hopefully I get my account sorted soon as it would be nice to receive promotions for Club Members.

I've gotten th email for the last few years now (I've been a member for over 10 years way back when it was a beauty card and you used to get a paper voucher instead of being electronic), I never bother printing it out though, I really should next year (haha probably won't get one now!)

I got a chice for my birthday of either a hand cream or a body wash. Both really nice.I struggle to spend enough to make the points worthwhile as since Farmers closed in Auckland city my nearest Farmers is too far away so a bit disappointed as I used to purchase a lot of cosmetics at Farmers .Be aware you have a limited time to use your points.

I've had a club card for a number of years now but don't get $20 vouchers very often,  I've only ever had a couple at the most.  That's because the easiest way to rack up points is by buying from the beauty section ($1 = 1 point) but I buy most of my makeup online or from cheaper stores like Kmart & the Warehouse.  Otherwise for the rest of the Farmers store you get 1 point per $10 spent so I find it hard to get to 200 points, especially because the points expire quickly for me too.   I do however look forward to their birthday gift every year.  I've had a couple of different things including a scented diffuser set and cute mug.  This month for my birthday the gift is an Elite Crystal Pen valued at $24.99.  I'm slightly less enthused (was hoping for something beauty related of course) but will happily pick it up anyway :)

I love Farmers! My store has a MAC counter so whenever I get the $20 vouchers I always get myself a new lipstick because it works out to be half price which I'm super keen for.

My Famers is also closer to me than the supermarket so when I need new hair shampoo etc I just go there because #lazy, and then I always end up looking at make up haha. I usually wait until there's double points or shop the sales, but I do end up getting the 200 points pretty quickly. I went in today and spent $100 and earned a $20 voucher, so next time I go in I can visit the MAC counter!

It's also great as now rewards can be achieved with clothing (not as many points) but always good to rewarded. I have not been into Farmers for ages though and accumlated rewards on beauty products - I seem to go online. Life Pharmacy also have club card, used to be ridulious amount to be spent to accur but they've lowered this - not sure if points are even on scripts ;) Muffin break also have rewards - and free muffin on your birthday, so spoil yourself !! :)

I received hand cream too. That Elizabeth Arden makeup session sounded like a wonderful treat! This was the first year I got a gift, but I think you usually get an email near the start of your birthday month.
