wax on wax off

I used this product on my bikini line and I do realize that it might have been better if I had the smaller roll on adapter. However, I found that this product took ages to warm up, way longer than it states (40 minutes). I waited over 40 minutes and when I went to use it, it felt like the wax wasn't warm enough and was pulling on the skin. Sometimes in between the waxes I found it might have cooled down so I would wait another 5 minutes or so during the waxing session just to get it to roll on smoothly. It felt very sticky and would pull on the hairs and hurt. I have used the veet wax strips and I find these in comparison much easier and less messy. While I do really like the "idea" of the product. It didn't really work for me.

Tips: Wait at least an hour before using

Veet

I couldn't wait to try this so I went out and bought it from the local supermarket, it was on sale for $29.95. I loved how professional and easy it seemed to use. However it did take quite a long time to heat up, although it did eventually heat up to the right temperature. I tried this on my legs. I found the wax to be very sticky but I guess that's better than not sticking at all. It did pull out most of the hair and didn't leave my skin red. I didn't really like the wax strips it came with as you couldn't really use it twice and I didn't think there were enough in the box. I would have to buy more cotton strips if I wanted to use this again. The wax was a bit difficult to wash off my skin. I haven't reused this as I feel it is rather time consuming and can get a bit messy. I don't like to wait around for the wax to reheat.

Veet EASY wax

Along with other reviewers, this did take double the time the instructions say to heat up. The wax is a real lollypop pink colour which is cute. I used the paper strips over and over, using two for each leg. This is a good product, very very easy to use. Would definitely recommend.

VEET EASY WAX

I was super excited to trial this product! I have been letting my leg hairs grow for a couple of days to get the full effect of this product below you will see my thoughts x

Firstly the Veet easywax packaging and product look very professional and are boxed in a super cute white an pink package which i was quite impressed with, included is a wax cartridge, fabric strips and soothing wipes :)

The instruction are very simple and straight forward to follow it was said to leave to heat for 20-30 mins but mine took around 45-50 mins to heat

Once heated wax is applied in a thin layer, you then apply your wax strips and pull off :) its as easy as 1-2-3 I used two strips for each leg and it took me approx 35ish mins to do both legs also i have dry/sensitive skin and have had no reaction to the wax I would have liked there to be more finishing wipes included but thats okay!

For the price ($39.99) you are getting a fairly good at home wax kit I would recommend this for people to give a go if you are wanting salon quality for half the price

Tips: i would suggest leaving upto 2hours to complete your waxing

Veet easy wax

I was excited to be invited to Try the veet easy wax kit, was cute packaging and very pink.I found instructions easy to follow but wen heating it up i had to wait twice as long as the instructions said and waited nearly an hour for it to be heated properly, but when it came to putting the wax on it didn't roll on as easy as I thought it would have been. I did have a little trouble applying it and had to do it twice to get a good line. I could of done with more of the fabric strips and the wipes they gave you to use to wipe the left over residue I needed more to do the whole leg but it did leave a nice smooth finish much nicer than shaving, you do need to leave yourself a good hour or so to complete this thou. My teenagers are wanting to try this now! I also think for the price of 39.99 it is not bad value.

Tips: Make sure you follow instructions and clean after each use

Veet Easy Wax

I loved being selected to try this. I found it look longer than instructions for it to heat up but eventually was right. I used this on my armpits & really wish the roll was a bit smaller but if I had used for my legs it would have been perfect size. The wax was a cute colour & smelt nice. I was late on my review due to needing to grow my hair to wax. Overall the instructions were good, I've used wax before so generally knew what to do. Possibly a few more strips would have been good. I like the concept of easy at home waxing & this product would suit that with the above adjustments. I would use this again, next time on my legs :)

personally loved this product

As others have said this is a cute professional looking wax kit... But there was a need for more strips as 12 isn't really enough (expecially for multiple uses)

However. This was easy to plug in and warm up over 30 mins rather than the reccommended 20. I found it went on really evenly and easily and left a very smooth hairless patch where the wax had been.

The final results was amazing, smooth and there weren't odd hairs that the wax had missed like some other waxes have.

Also really like the pinky colour of the wax it was feminine and appealing.

Ultimately I loved this kit. And I have never really been a waxer but I have to say I will probably continue on using this product as it is easy, and mess free and took maybe a total of 15 minutes to wax the legs (excluding heating time)

Awesome

Easy to use, smooth result

The wax kit comes in with a heating device set, wax (replaceable), 12 or 13 strips, and some soothing wipes. I first tested out the wax on my legs. I did leave the wax on heating at least 10 minutes longer than stated on instruction, which was 20 minutes. Then when I was applying the product, it actually went on very smoothly, did not need too much effort as I thought it would take. Good kind of surprise. I left the strips on for around 3 minutes when they were cooling down, then simply pulled them off against the way natural hair grows. The result was actually quite amazing. It did not hurt too much, also leaving the skin very smooth. I also compared the treated areas with the areas that I had IPL hair removal on, they turned out to be equally smooth. I'm very satisfied with the result. However, the device and refill do get super hot, be careful with that.

Tips: Leave the device on heating a little longer than 20 minutes, better not unattended though. Be careful when taking out refill as it's super hot!

Professional Salon Waxing in the Comfort of Home

So I have been waxing with strips and rollers for 12 years now and have used professional in salon equipment (due to my job) and also tried some home kits out of curiosity and to see if there was a cheaper alternate out there for some of my clients. I have used the Veet easy roll on system now both on myself and on a couple of clients and I can 100% say without hesitation there is no difference between the two (professional & Veet). So happy I can finally offer a cheaper alternate to my clients. If you are having mixed results it will be in the way you are removing it - this is when you can snap the hairs instead of pulling them out at the root. Make sure u rip (and I say rip because the faster the better) the strip along and down in the opposite direction to the application as opposed to along and up, it is the upward motion of the pulling that snaps the hairs. I hope that makes sense!!!

Tips: Rip the strip off along and down in the opposite direction of application - the faster the better as with all waxing techniques and this will avoid snapping the hairs at the base as opposed to pulling them out at the root.

Very eeeeasy!

Firstly, it takes more like 30 minutes to heat up fully. I started using it after 20 minutes and the wax was definitely not hot enough but 10 minutes into it it was working a treat!

This product is so easy to use. It rolls on very evenly and applies just the right amount of wax. I think that the wax itself is good wax it is pleasantly scented, makes a little bit of a mess but no more than expected!

I found that there definitely was not enough strips supplied for multiple uses. At the beginning I had problems with the wax actually sticking to the strips and coming off. I ended up with wax stuck to my legs which was a bit of a nightmare but I think that came down to my inexperience.. and definitely got the hang of it by the end of it. I ended up using one strip multiple times with lots of wax build up on it to get the residue off.

The final result was very silky smooth hairs and a very little amount of pesky hairs left! I expected some redness as I have quite sensitive skin but it barely was visible! For an at home treatment, it definitely gave near salon results. For the cheap price, its definitely worth a go as it is a pretty economical option that leaves your legs smooth for days, and only takes about 30 mins to do your legs.
