Sunsilk Longer and Stronger Shampoo and Conditioner

I've been told various times to stay away from Supermarket hair products, however I am HOOKED on this product. Since using it, my hair is not only in better condition that before (i have VERY curly, frizzy heat damaged hair) but this shampoo+conditioner seems to tame it! It smells delicious, washes out easily and leaves your hair most importantly feeling clean. Since using this my hair really is longer and stronger than it has been in a LONG time.

Not being one to go to a salon to cut my hair let alone buy their ridiculously expensive products, I tend to be that annoying person standing in the hair care section at the supermarket for 20 minutes +.

Reading over all the labels of them promising to do this & do that... I saw the dark, non-obnoxious bottles of Sunsilk's Longer & Strong Shampoo & Conditioner.

My hair is dry, damaged, oily, coloured, frizzy, and curly... no shampoo and conditioner seem to be able to handle that all at once.

None but this!

The shampoo gets rid of oily-ness in my roots and keeps it smelling fresh. The conditioner (which I apply, comb through and leave for about 5 minutes) makes my hair feel so soft, silky and healthy when I wash it out, and also when it dries.

I've noticed I have less breakage when I'm straightening my hair which is always a plus when you're trying to grow your hair but still torturing it everyday.

And it was pretty cheap at $4.00 a bottle for 200ml which lasts me almost a month.

I would definitely recommend this shampoo & conditioner to my friends and family, not only if they are wanting to grow out their hair, but also if they want to smell fab!

I'm not very into going into salons to buy expensive shampoos and conditioners because I think they are overpriced so supermarket ones work just fine. I generally run with whatever gets bought in the house, but if I get to decide, the black Sunsilk is my favourite go to on the shelf. I can't say any shampoo and conditioner has ever really made me see a huge difference with my hair, no matter the brand or price, so I generally base my decision on smell. I like to be able to leave my hair for a couple of days without washing it and still be able to smell whatever I've used in it a couple of days before. This product is one of the only ones I can say has honestly done that. It also is a smell I don't get sick of (I hate musky shampoos and conditioners).

I loooooove the smell of these products, it is amazing! I don't use the shampoo as it makes my hair quite oily, but I use the conditioner with another shampoo product. I use this conditioner all the time purely because it's a reasonable price, makes my hair soft and smells delicious.

I really liked this shampoo and conditioner set, mostly because my hair is so thick and dry and most other products do not clean my hair fully. The consistency is really creamy and easy to run through my hair , the lather on the shampoo is really nice and it leaves my hair feeling clean but not stripped of any softness.The conditioner leaves my hair super soft and manageable to comb through.

I received this combo in a gift basket a while ago and it sure did make my hair feel stronger as I had lightened my hair. I am unsure on the longer part as I really didn't take too much notice of it. It smells divine like a sweet addictive blend. I also use the conditioner to make my home made fabric softener as I love the smell of it :P

I used this shampoo and conditioner for over a year as I was growing my hair - my Mum and sister were also growing their hair and we had a bit of a competition going on to see who could grow theirs the longest. Well, I used this combo on my hair and they didn't - my hair grew much longer and quicker than theirs did. The results were evident - when I told them my secret they rushed out to buy it too! It really does help aid growth and strength. It's nice to use too, a little goes a long way and the smell is very nice too. A fair price point and the product delivers its promises.

When i first started using this shampoo it worked so well and definitely helped make my hair longer and stronger. However after a while i found my hair always had a heavy feeling and it made my hair feel very oily. I like this product but would only use it occasionally not as an everyday shampoo and conditioner.

I love this shampoo/conditioner and it always seems to be on special for such a reasonable price too.

I love how it easily lathers and makes your hair feel smooth while still washing it. The smell of it is amazing but not too much either so you don't feel like it's going to overpower your purfume or even worse clash with it.

A little does go a very long way, with both. And I find that even though 100mL less than other products I've used it seems to last a very long time.

One thing is that my hair doesn't shine with this product like it has with others, it's my only issue. My hair however has been growing longer, and seems stronger since I've change to mainly using this brand. Considering the price of it, it's 2nd to none of the salon branded products I've used in the past, in fact I think it's done a far superior job.

This product really does seem to work - I've bought it for my daughter who has incredibly long hair and it really seems to have made a difference in the amount of breakage (less hair in her brush and in the shower drain!). It smells amazing too and doesn't weigh the hair down
