Sunsilk Longer and Stronger Shampoo and Conditioner

Firstly I LOVE the smell of the shampoo!! Such a gorgeous smell. I can honestly say I didn't notice my hair to be any longer or stronger while using this, but to be honest I didn't actually expect it to. Because my hair has been bleached for many years to maintain my blonde, I don't expect any hair products to work miracles on it. The conditioner is quite a thin consistency as others have mentioned, I do also prefer a thicker conditioner, but this one did a good job of moisturising my hair and coating every strand, I did leave the conditioner on for two minutes to let it really soak into my hair.

It took time but definitely happy with the results of this product have brought it a few times. I would recommend shampooing your hair twice every four days

I decided to try this Sunsilk Longer and Stronger Shampoo and Conditioner after I smelt the lovely fragrance on my friends hair. I am used to using Treseme Conditioner and their Shampoo while occasionally trialing different Shampoos. I just loved that they do big(700ml-1ltr) bottles as I have quite thick, curly/frizzy, dry and colour damaged hair and tended to use LOTS of conditioner.

I cannot really comment on the "Longer" part of the product as I don't think I have used it long enough to be able to see a difference as my hair is quite long already but would love it to be even longer so will keep using it to see if that part works for me, however it has helped with breakage so I am sure the longer part will follow... :)

Since trying Sunsilk Longer and Stronger Shampoo and Conditioner(400ml bottles) I have not needed to use as much conditiner as it is nice and smooth and softens my hair instantly which is good because that makes the 400ml bottles an ideal size. The day after I have washed my hair, it used to just go back to being dry and frizzy(where I would wash it again to gain the nice soft curls) it is now nice and soft curls and I can just re-wear my curls without a lot of bun-hair-dos.

I have only used Sunsilk Longer and Stronger Shampoo and Conditioner for the last month and will keep using it so see if it helps with the length, however it definitely has helped a lot with breakage and the general health of my hair.

The added bonus of this Sunsilk Longer and Stronger Shampoo and Conditioner is the smell, I just love the scent that it leaves in my hair.

This shampoo and conditioner set is one of my favorites in the supermarket and it smells AMAZING!!! I personally go for salon products because of my hair but always have this as backup.

I purchased these together on special at New World a while back and can’t remember the exact price!

They both come in really classy black bottles that are easy to handle. They are quirky in that the shampoo bottle opens at the top and the conditioner bottle opens at the bottom!

The shampoo is thick and plops into your hand, but feels like it coats every strand of hair, which I really like. After applying and working it through damp hair, I add a bit more water and it lathers up really well.

The conditioner is thinner which isn’t ideal for me because I like a thick creamy conditioner. Having said that though, it does spread well through my hair.

Both have a gorgeous scent, but as the back of the containers have a list of un-pronounceable ingredients, I can’t identify exactly what the scent is.

The product claims to help strengthen hair from root to tip and reduce breakage. I can’t say I’ve noticed anything different in terms of strength or length. I can say my hair feels clean, soft, and scented after use, if a little limp.

For the price (less than $8 each), they are a good and economical pair of products, although somewhat average in comparison to other shampoos and conditioners.

I would recommend to others to give these a try if you’re on the look-out for a good shampoo and conditioner, but don’t expect miracles in regard to long, strong hair.

I picked these up earlier this year as I was nearly finished my shampoo/conditioner I buy from my hairdressers, I thought I would give my wallet a break and pick this up to see what it could do.

I was drawn in by the title, "Longer and Stronger" uh, I'm sure I can speak on behalf of all my ladies we would all love longer hair, without the nasty breakage. Or maybe that is just me...?

So I had this dream it was going to turn me into Rapunzel after using it, incorrect. I haven't noticed any major growth then normal, but that doesn't worry me. I did notice my hair at the ends were shinier and stronger looking, usually its knotty dry and unmanageable. Using the conditioner helped really lock in that moisture.

Has a pleasant smell, sweetly perfumed. The shampoos' texture was a thick gel which foamed up quite a bit, which isn't the best feeling as it can give you that stripped feeling, but the conditioner soon solved that, nice and creamy and a little goes a long way which is never the case I find in supermarket brands!

All in all, its a fine duo together, and made my hair shiny and smooth, nice bottles to hold and lasts me 2-3 months, very cheap and on special very often.

I didn't notice my hair get any longer or stronger. It did smell nice but then most shampoo and conditioners do. The shampoo seamed to clean my hair quite well and the conditioner wasn't to thick or to thin. It is very affordable product.

I buy this quite often now. Its proven to do exactly what it states, for my hair. I have barely any hair breakage when I use it. Thats coming from once getting handfuls of hair just running my fingers through it!

The scent is quite nice, not overpowering as others can be. I have very long hair, and a bottle can last me a fair amount of time.

It also keeps my hair quite smooth, soft and silky. Doesn't dry my scalp out or hair, and have found a high decrease in split ends also.

Overall, a great product at a very affordable price.

It seems to almost be a normal occurrence to see me in the aisle of the supermarket on my phone checking out BR before purchasing a Shampoo and Conditioner these days. This time Sunsilk was on special again so I picked up this pair. I've been growing my hair for a while now so thought why not.

The packaging is fine, practical but not amazing. They are opaque plastic bottles, these ones in black. It does annoy me that the shampoo bottle has a slanted top. It is fine for when you have plenty of product but when you are running out it is hard to find a spot to keep it upside down. Also why do they have to be opaque? You never know how much you have left. Maybe it is a conspiracy to make you throw them out before you have actually finished all the product.

Both of these have a slight scent, nothing too strong or offensive. Almost sweet. The shampoo makes my hair feel clean, but not too clean. The conditioner is actually quite nice too and leaves my hair feeling suitable moisturised and tangle free.

I think these are actually my favourite of the Sunsilk range that I have tried so far. Despite that I don't think I will be repurchasing as they didn't do anything particularly special for my hair so I will continue my search for the holy grail Shampoo and Conditioner.
