Not the best

When I read the label for this, I thought this sounded awesome for my super dry skin. Unfortunately I didnt notice any change in my skin after using it. However I love Nivea body lotions!

Love the concept, just didn't moisturiser enough

Love the idea of an in shower moisturiser, as I don't always have time to moisturise after getting out of the shower. But unfortunately it didn't moisturise enough for me, and my legs still looked dry afterwards. Also I had to spend extra time in the shower spraying it down, as it was bit greasy, and I didn't want that building up!

sticky little cream

So was really excited to try this product (especially I love my body lotions trying something new isa bit scary but heard lot about the shower cream that I cant resist trying it) when I bought it went straight to take a shower and did was I was instructed to do. So yeah it feels creamy and moisturizes the skin. So the rinsing part now... why does it suddenly felt like I slap my body with a hair conditioner and it feels so slimy?? Maybe its just me. So pat it dry and get dressed... no wait it feels like I am covered with glad wrap but hey doesn't matter. Long story short the whole day I felt stiff. Yeah it smells nice but I felt like I was wrapped with glad wrap and that sticky feeling (don't get me wrong o rinse it off I really badly did) with that feeling almost half of the day gone not to mention I work in the kitchen a quick shower was the best way to do it without using the said product. I felt better. Maybe its not really for me??

Smelled great, not so moisturising though

I tried this in Australia before it launched here and bought it purely out of curiosity. Like others who have posted here I wondered why one would want to wash off a moisturiser. It does smell great and the idea of it was exciting and it was an adventure trying something I'd never tried before but in terms of moisturisation after the washing off, it was lacking for me. Possibly a good product if you're getting dressed straight after a shower and don't want to feel sticky or greasy after moisturising.

Tips: Good for shaving legs?

Just not quite hydrating enough

I was excited to try this product, but unfortunately I am not that convinced by it. It is quite nice on the areas of my body that are not that dry - leaves the skin feeling smooth and with no stickiness or residue.

But for the driest parts, in particular my legs, they still needed moisturising after getting out of the shower - especially after shaving.

The smell is very subtle (the classic Nivea smell) so it doesn't compete with other scents from perfumes used later. But the bottle is very large and difficult to hold, especially with wet hands. It would be better in a bottle with a pump.

The product can also leave a slippery residue on the floor of the shower, which is a little annoying having to rinse or scrub off every time.

Tips: Don't put too much on your hand at once, as it will slip off and make your shower floor more slippery.

I agree about it being better in a pump bottle. I found after using it it was very hard to keep hold of.

Nivea Body conditioner

When this was one of the items in the BR Beauty box, I was very excited ! I have wanted to try this for ages, and the concept of already having moisturised by the time you step out of the shower really appeals to me. I liked the big size bottle, as you use quite a lot if you do your legs , arms and upper body, and its easy to squirt out and rub into your skin. The fragrance is quite neutral, I like things to be a bit more fragranced, but that's just personal choice. However I found that this one for dry skin, to be not nearly moisturising enough. I still found that in the summer , my legs were still quite dry throughout the day and that I needed a stronger product. So I bought the one for very dry skin, and I still found it to be not moisturising enough for me in the summer, when my skin is a lot dryer than the winter. I have used the Lush Ro's Argan body conditioner, and I really found this to be superior to this Nivea one (although its also four times the price!) The lush product left a barrier on my skin and it felt soft and smooth all day, which the Nivea product didn't achieve. I will use the rest of the product up, but I don't feel it quite gets there in terms of being effective.

Unsure

So I got this product in my Beauty Box from Beauty Review and being that I like to moisturise after every shower, I was quite excited to try it.

I gave it a go, and while it did a good job with making my skin all nice and soft, I felt it didn't do such a great job on the areas where I have extra dryness (ie my elbows and knees). Even after using this product I still needed to moisturise those problem areas as the in shower moisturiser didn't seem to work.

It is a great concept, especially for those who like to cut some time in their daily beauty regime, but I wonder whether just using your usual moisturiser in the shower the exact same way would do the exact same job.

Not for me

I received this product in my beauty box and was one I was looking forward to as my skin can do with extra conditioning and to be able to do this in the shower just sounded right up my alley. I was impressed with the amount of product that comes in the bottle and its got a nice consistency with a mild fragrance but my skin didn't agree and left me rather itchy and didn't add any moisture to my skin.

While I do love the concept I'm a bit disappointed that its just not something I can use.

Nivea In Shower Body Skin Conditioner

Firstly, it smells quite lovely!

For me the point in using it would be to apply after shaving legs, so that I wouldn't have to apply moisturiser once my skin is dry.

So my first try, I didn't read the instructions, applied some, washed it off, but when I dried myself my legs were thirsty so I applied body lotion as usual.

Second try, I thought ok I'll read the instructions. So I did. Yip, simple. This time I applied the lotion more liberally, but once again, when my skin was dry I felt the need to apply more body lotion.

So I'm left wondering if I have done something wrong, the product isn't designed for that purpose, or maybe my skin is a bit too dry. I don't know. I will keep going with it, maybe, though I'm not sold on the product yet!
