I was sent this from Beauty Review to trial (Thank you Beauty Review). The Sukin Pawpaw ointment is the first product I have tried from this brand and I was excited to see how this ointment was comparing it to other pawpaw products on the market.
It comes in a small 25g tube and since trialing this I've already used up half in a matter of 2 weeks. The lid is very secure saving it from it being accidentally opened in your handbag. I find it hard to get the product out of the tube because of its thick consistency and the colder days. Letting the tube warm up in my hand before squeezing out the product has helped get the ointment out easier and better to rub into my skin.
Ive been using this on my lips, elbows and ankles. When using this on my lips it keeps them soft and smooth for hours, in the colder days my lips get chapped a lot quicker compared to summer days. I've been using this on the edges around my sons nose because his nose gets dry and sore from blowing it on a daily basis. My elbows and knees are no longer dry and since I've been using it regularly to combat the dryness I dont have to apply it as often as I normally do.
I will purchase this product in the near future.
I'm a big fan of paw paw ointment and have used them in the past. This one is great as it's got a lot of natural products compared to some of the other brands. It's very thick and it hard to get out of the tube but it is fragrance free, I really like that about products. I tried it on my red finger which was swollen around the cuticle area. It offered some relief, the redness and itchiness has been reduced. I've also tried in on some eczema which came up on my arm and it worked well. I will definitely be trying this ointment out on chapped lips, sun burns, sea lice rash and insect bites but didn't have a chance in the review period. I would buy this paw paw ointment and am pleased it's easy to buy in the supermarket at an excellent price.
Tips: It comes in a handy size tube that you can keep in your hand bag.
