Goodness Every Morning Moisturiser

I got this in my Beauty Box from BR and was excited to try it. I love the fact that it is in a tube which makes it easily accessible and you can get every last drop out. Unfortunately that's the only thing I liked about this moisturiser. I really didn't like the smell, I can't explain the scent only that my nostrils scrunched up every time I tried to smell it. It also didn't do anything for my dry skin and because its also sensitive, I had a bit of a reaction to it. Unfortunately not for me.

As I prefer a day moisturiser with SPF/UV protection I knew when this came in the BRBB I would try it as a night time moisturiser.

Im all for natural products and NZ made so I had high hopes for this wee mauve coloured bottle.

Unfortunately it really disappointed me, it made my face a total oil slick even when only using the tiniest of squeezes, so much so that every time I tried it I had to wash it off. It felt thick and heavy, almost like a cleanser which needed rinsing off. So even giving it a try prior to my morning makeup application was a bit too risky for me.

On the plus side I really don't mind the fragrance of it, so like some of you mentioned using it for a hand cream will be awesome (especially since I get really dry hands) so all is not lost.

I wasn't a fan of this moisturizer. I tried it for a good month and each day it left my skin feeling oily and yuck! I ended up breaking out and I hardly ever suffer from pimples.

It does come in a nice tube and I like how when the lid is stands up so your able to get every last drop out.

Helllooo oil slick! Probably works very well for people with dry patches but this really didn’t work well on my oily skin. My foundation would literally slip off my face and split. By midday I was a walking talking oil rig!! Broke out on my cheeks and swiftly gave away to my Mother in Law who has dry skin. Love the packaging, love the tube especially! I wish I loved it but unfortunately it’s just not for my skin

I bought this in a pack of minis with 4 other goodness products. The size of the product was 20ml. I loved all the other products in the pack, and love many other Goodness products, but not this one.

If the moisturiser didn't have a super strong smell, it would be fine. Cute packaging. Definitely hydrates my skin. Light-weight, and leaves no excess on my skin. Nothing extraordinary, but does what it says it does.

I absolutely hated the moments putting this on my face though. I don't usually mind products like moisturisers with a faint scent, but this has a super strong smell that I found unbearable. It reminded me of medicine mixed with the Dove smell, if that makes sense - not a terribly horrible smell, just super strong. And it was almost like I could smell it for hours afterwards, even after putting my make-up on as well. I used it several times, and each time found myself super aware of the smell throughout the day.

Ended up throwing the mini away and would not repurchase, but might recommend if you weren't bothered by strong scented moisturisers - as was good apart from the smell.

I got this in the September BRBB and have only just managed to get through the tube after opening it around Christmas time.

It comes in a pretty pink squeeze tube with a screw cap - personally not my fave design as I hate having to put caps back on things when you're in a rush in the morning.

It absorbed into my skin very well but did leave a slightly waxy feeling to it, however this disappeared by the time I put my make up on. It's quite scented for a moisturiser (I find) but again that disappears pretty quickly. It's relatively thick, and not a watery type moisturiser which I was glad about as I just prefer a bit of substance to my moisturiser.

For it's price point and how long it lasted I think it's pretty economical, however I probably wouldn't purchase again due to the smell and I just didn't feel really hydrated from using it.

I got this tube in one of the Beauty Review boxes. This is a newer brand out and I was very excited to receive this.

I can't remember what the box looks like but this comes in a pink squeeze tube. I love pink so it instantly attracts me on that level. I also prefer this style of packaging as it is more hygienic then dipping your finger into a jar numerous times. This has 75mls of product too so it is a very good size. On the back on the tube under the how to use section it says: Apply to clean face. Admire your awesomeness (and check your teeth for Kale). You gotta love a company with a sense of humour!

This cream comes out quite thickly. It's also white and quite scented. It is a herbal kind of sweet scent. IT is quite strong though but I like it. I like that it's not a perfume scent, my skin does not appreciate that. My skin is very dry, not just a little bit dry. Whilst this says it is hydrating and initially it goes on feeling very hydrating, it just isn't enough for my skin. I just feel like the moisture doesn't last all day for me. Another downpoint for me is the lack of spf. Yes, I know I can add that but honestly, I feel like I have enough skincare and makeup steps to do in the morning so having a lotion with spf added is something I really appreciate.

While this isn't for me, I don't think its a bad product at all. I wish this could work for me but my dry skin just needs that special love. I think if you have more normal skin or only a touch dry, this could be great for you.

I received this in the BRBB and was pretty excited about it. It was in a gorgeous pink-purple tube, smelled delicious, and has no nasties. What's not to love, right?

The issue for me is that this is a really hydrating moisturiser. Not as issue for those with dry skin or maybe even normal skin but I have combination-oily skin so it was just too heavy for me. The cream itself is very thick which makes it difficult to spread it thinly on the skin.

Not all is lost though, It makes a lovely hand cream and I've even started using it as a body lotion too!

I love the packaging of this product, nice simple easy to use. Product itself is really nice and thick, much more than I expected from a 'morning moisturizer'.

The problem with this product and my skin is that although it sits well in the morning, a few hours later I am an oil slick. I am well aware that this means this product is not suited to my skin and that's why I have given it the rating I have.

I've never really had a problem with a moisturizer being too heavy. In saying this though if you have any dry spots this is a fantastic wee moisturizer to use on specific parts of my face just not all over. Very hydrating but just not my cup of tea!

Reading the reviews below I can understand why they said use it as a hand cream...I might try that as I dislike wasting products!
