Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Anti Ageing Review

I'll admit, I jumped on the BB Cream crazy train. Something new, that was better for your skin than foundation?? Readily available at the supermarkets?? Affordable?? HELL YEAH!??? But no, I was so excited when I got home... I applied it with my flat top brush... I didn't see any noticeable improvement to my wrinkles, nor did to give any sort of coverage. At best, Id liken it to a tinted moisturiser. Bitter disapointment. I wouldnt recommend.

This was a new product for me to try and I was very keen to use as I had read a lot about BB creams but most seemed too expensive. This one at under $20 seemed too good to be true. Packaging is vey basic and unless you were looking for it would not stand out on the supermarket shelf however I feel this is what keeps the cost realistic. The texture of the product is thick and creamy which took me a while to get used to as the first couple of times I used my fingers and felt I had a mask on however after a bit of experiment I found applying with a sponge easier and achieved a lighter coverage. I found once a day plenty and lasts all day so I felt no need to touch up at all and certainly makes my skin feel firmer . My skin is really fair and sensitive and the initial colour seemed too dark but after the cream dried the colour also seemed to blend in with my skin tone. The scent of the cream is really light and soon disappears which I like as I don't like makeup than has a strong scent. I like the fact that it also has sunscreen as I often forget to use until it is too late. All in all I found this a really good product and will certainly purchase again when I have used up this sample.

Or just use them less/ only for events/ when you’re having a bleg day. I am in love with Garnier BB Cream. And no not any BB Cream. This one! My skin was a little hidden and feeling suffocated with my regular daily foundation. And I spend a lot of time (and money) making my skin feel amazing only to cover it all up. BB Cream, this BB Cream, gives me the cover I need without covering me ‘all’ up. And over time works on evening out skin tone, it hydrates you, and still manages to give you that “I put on make up” “Oh but it looks so natural” look. I have tried others and they just don’t work for me; too tinty, too greasy etc.

I recently repurchased this as I had previously purchased it and LOVED it. However this time I found although It was a great shade for me it didn't give nearly enough coverage. I know you can't really expect amazing coverage from a bb cream style product but this didn't cover much at all. I have tinted moisturisers than do a far better job coverage wise than this. If you only need very sheer coverage though this may be a good option for you as it does feel nice and light on the skin and has spf making it great for summer. I can't comment on the anti-aging claim though but hey it can't do any harm :P For the price I think this is a okay base product but I will probably not repurchase and willl probably use this under foundation or only when my skin is looking pretty flawless,

personally, I found this product gave my nill coverage and just made my skin look caked unless I had put moisturiser or a primer on just before. so it didn't really work for my skin type as my skin gets easily dry and oily and my skin is quite fair.

I really disliked this BB cream. It could possibly be due to my oily skin type and colouring, but I found that it had very light coverage so didn't do much in the way of evening out skin tone or covering up blemishes. After a couple of hours, my skin looked very oily and patchy where the. BB cream had begun to wear away. I also found the medium colour I tried made me look very orange. Overall, this product reminded me more of a tinted moisturiser than a BB cream. Definately would not recommend for oily skin users.

I like using BB creams instead of regular foundation because they combine sheer coverage with sunscreen. In winter, I switch from using a sunscreen specifically for faces to using a BB cream and find it does the trick. Garnier's version evens out light blotches (from sun damage) on my skin and helps hide blemishes, too. I often get complimented on my 'great-looking' skin when I'm wearing Garnier's Anti Aging BB cream. It has a bit of sheen which is great, as long as your skin's not oily to begin with. I noticed, in switching back and forth between Cover Girl's BB cream (not anti-ageing) and Garnier, that Garnier's anti-ageing BB cream goes on thicker and provides more coverage than CG's formulation. This also means it takes a bit longer to apply Garnier's anti-ageing BB cream.

I had high expectations for this because all my friends were raving about this... However I was sorely let down after buying this! It was because it was too damn oily! I have really dry skin and normally having a matte face is the expectation for me. However when I put this on my face literally shone bright like a diamond... And not in a good way. It didn't do a very good job of covering the blemishes I do have and it seemed to make them more obvious. Not a product I would reccomend.

This cream has a lovely consistency and is easy to apply, not sure if the anti ageing has kicked in yet but I remain hopeful, however....it doesnt really provide enough coverage and io am a BB cream Queen so its compared to other brands. Also it says to get more coverage apply it twice, this sort of defeats the purpose and means you use it too quickly. I therefore like it but don't love it.Its perfect for going to footy on the weekends but for me its not good enough for work!

This product is quite simply amazing. Being a busy Mum, I have to admit that I don't often find time for moisturising, let alone to moisturise AND put a foundation base on. Plus, the few times I have tried a foundation, I've found it has almost caked on leaving my skin looking worse than when it started. This was NOT the case with this product. So easy to apply and while it definitely covers the patchiness, it doesn't leave you looking like you've just put a tonne of makeup on. I'm a firm believer that the natural look is far nicer and this is what the Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream delivers. I wouldn't have said though that my skin felt tighter afterwards though, but while it was on, it looked great.

Would I buy it again ? Most definately !! It's an affordable asset to any woman's handbag (or makeup shelf)
