must have product

ingenious product this is, containing all the right ingrediants to give my skin a perfect natural feeling. I gave a bottle to my mother and she adores this, softens skin easing wrinkles and unwanted lines.

A must have product

I love this product. I use it most days, sometimes alternating with another type of oil. I had a scar in between my eyebrows that I wish I'd taken a before and after photo of as it has almost gone! It definitely makes my skin nice and soft and is especially great in winter. I just apply a couple of drops after cleansing and toning in the evening before bed. I've also been using a few drops on my hands and massaging into my cuticles as I have dermatitis on my hands and my nails were in bad shape. This helps with that and my nails grow fast & strong!

Have heard good things, finally tried it myself :)

I was gifted a 45ml bottle of this Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil about 2 weeks ago. I had heard quite a lot about Rosehip oil but hadn't actually tried it myself - partly due to budget constraints.

It comes in a nice red coloured box with a glass bottle that you apply using the dripper. The smell was unusual (but then I don't always expect a lovely smell from something that is natural) - not really pleasant but not bad. The dripper tended to start dripping out as soon as I took it out of the bottle which was a little annoying, so I just dripped a few drops into the palm of my hand and applied that way.

You don't need a lot as you massage into your face and neck, I found I needed about 4 drops for coverage. I have really old scars around my chin from a burn from a fire when I was a baby and didn't expect this product would do anything for that, but I do think it has lessened the redness of the scar. I do know that it has helped to even my skin tone out slightly and my skin definitely feels smoother from using it.

I will definitely continue to use this product, especially being Organic which I love :) I have been alternating using this one night and then an Organic face cream I use also.

Really like the product and will continue to use it

Tips: Just be careful with the dripper when you take it out of the bottle as it drips (well mine did!) and don't use too much :)

An absolute beauty staple

This is a product I will be using for the long term. It has amazing moisurising & skin softening qualities, but without being greasy which is pretty incredible. It's particularly good in winter when the harsher, colder air dries out my skin.

Tips: Less is more :-) It goes a long way. Two drops are enough for me, sometimes three if my skin is particularly dry.

Feels nice on the skin but I didn't see results, I am not sure if was because of my scars being older but I used this product as per instructions

Rosehip Oil

This oil comes with an easy to use pipette, although I did just pour straight onto my hands when I'd got to the end. I can't say personally I was endeared to the smell and it didn't absorb very quickly to my skin so felt a little oily. My skin did feel good the next day but can't think of any redeeming features!

So Soft. So Smooth

This is the first rosehip oil I have used and I must say that my skin is feeling softer and looking smoother after using it for 3 weeks.

I love the pippette dropper, making it easy to get just the right amount out and not waste any of the oil. A little goes a long way, and I have found that just 4 drops covers my face and neck, so will last a long time.

The bottles matt finish looks good but its bit like a chalk board - not good for those who hate nails on a blackboard. I have scratched it a couple of times and it makes my skin crawl.

The formula seems very gentle on sensitive skin, and has not flaired up my eczema at all. Woohoo, win win all round!

Tips: Try massaging it in to damp skin after a bath or shower to lock in even more moisture

Organic Rosehip Oil

I really like this oil. I was pleasantly surprised when I first used a tester in store and found it wasn't greasy on my hands and that convinced me to purchase it.

It absorbs quickly and doesn't leave a horrible residue on my skin but it feels hydrated.

I can't comment on the scars or stretch mark claims, as for the fine lines I can't say I've noticed much of a difference. However the only lines I have are on my forehead (I have expressive eyebrows) and hardly any around my eyes etc so it may have helped those, but who knows?

My mum really hates this oil as she thinks it smells like fish. It doesn't. It doesn't really have much of a scent at all.

An everyday favourite

This rosehip oil is fantastic. It's light, beautifully fragranced and is absorbed into the skin quickly. I love to use it every night before bedtime and it's helped out my eczema a lot. It doesn't irritate it and helps smooth the eczema and dry skin.

I also use a few drops in the bath as a bath oil and as an all over body oil. It's also great for massage oil and helped fade my pregnancy stretch marks on my belly.

I've tried quite a few rosehip oils and this is my favourite by far.

Tips: Use a few drops in a warm bath as a perfect bath oil.

Not Convinced

Trilogy's Rosehip Oil has been certainly hyped up, but for me I'm not sure it lived up to the hype.

I have tried several rosehip oils and found them all fairly similar in both smell and function, so I would only buy this again if it was the cheapest at the time I was purchasing it.

Rosehip oil appears to be the miracle skin oil, a deaging serum, a lash serum and a make up remover.

As a make up remover it was fantastic; gentle and effective. It also possible has strengthed my lashes slightly but the jury is still out on that one.

As far as skin goes it absorbed into it quickly and gave it moisture but other than that itdidn't appear to do anything and naturally felt oily on my skin.

As far as age is concerned, I only have fine lines but it didn't do anything for them.

I keep a bottle of rosehip oil on hand because it is supposed to be good for my skin and I like to use it to remove my make up. But this brand will only be brought again if it is at a competitive price, which is actually possible.
