Lancome Advanced Genifique Youth Activating Concentrate Review

I've never tried Lancome before, I think I put it in the 'scary counter' category! I'm so glad to have been on this trial team as I'm very excited at trying more from the range.

This comes in a small glass bottle and is very classy in appearance. It just screams quality.

I've been applying it twice a day morning and night and have found it's had a dramatic effect on my skin. My wrinkles look softer and less defined which is incredible in just under 3 weeks!

My skin has a more refined feel to it and is smoother than ever! I feel 10 years younger!

Would absolutely purchase again!

I noticed a huge difference after using this serum. My skin felt smoother and looked hydrated and luminous with an more even tone. The serum felt a little sticky first but that disappeared immediately. I really like the bottle and application dropper. I will definitely continue to use it.

I'm very impressed with this product. The dropper applicator delivered the perfect amount of serum to use, so much easier than a pump. The texture was light, easily massaged and absorbed very quickly into the skin which was fantastic as I didn't have to wait around for ages to continue with my skincare routine. I found I did not need to use as much moisturiser as usual. Since using this product I can see my skin is more supple and smoother. My lines seemed to have reduced and my skin is more radient, even through my makeup. I have noticed my skin is more hydrated and not feeling tight. Since using the serum my makeup looks better, smoother on my skin. As I continue to use this product, I'm looking forward to the further results I will see. I definitely recommend using this serum!

Much like the eye cream I'd all but given up on serums, only applying them because you 'should' not because I saw a visible difference. Lancome Advanced Genefique Youth Activating Concentrate did the unimaginable - it made a visible difference.

The packaging is a sleek and chic black to grey glass bottle with a silver cap. The cap twists off and at the same time sucks up the amount of serum required, and you simply push down on the lid's button to disperse the serum into your hands. From there you pat and sweep the serum over your face, then distribute any extra (of which I had extra as I have quite a small face) to your neck/decolletage.

I found the serum to be non-sticky, to sink in quickly, and I wasn't bothered by its slightly chemical scent. It did not irritate my skin.

When I noticed the biggest difference was first thing in the morning. I'd look in the mirror after a terrible night's sleep (thank you perimenopause/life stress) and my skin would be glowing. Radiant, even. My skin feels smoother, it looks healthier. I swear I've even seen some rapid changes to my deep seated acne scarring.

This serum is by no means affordable, BUT I would sooner shell out for a bottle of this knowing it works than spend the equivalent on four bottles of serum and fancy moisturisers that do nothing at all. 100% would recommend and repurchase.

Love this product and everything about it! The applicator dispenses the perfect amount for each use and It creates the good base for day cream and then makeup application. Its lightly fragrant, and not overpowering, I felt l noticed results almosr immediately ,hydrated feel to skin and over the the weeks l have used it and have noticed noticed an improvement in skin texture and evenness , especially around eye area where l have fine lines I feel it will go a long way as dispenser gives perfect amount ! Wow what an amazing trial to be on. Thanks so much BR! I have been using the youth activating concentrate both morning and night for nearly 3 weeks. I love the packaging, very classy looking and a nice sturdy bottle. 

To use you push down on the lid which draws the concentrate into the dropper. A little bit definitely goes a long way, i use just under half a dropper full for my face and neck. It has an ok scent but not my favourite. I like how you can see how much is left, I still have over half a bottle which is pretty great considering it is only 30ml and I use twice daily.

I apply after cleansing to a dry face, it absorbs into my skin so fast and doesn't leave it feeling sticky at all. My skin feels super soft and my foundation glides on beautifully. I've also noticed I don't get any oil on my t zone like I usually do and i've had no dry patches since using this which is incredible.

I have sensitive skin and get no irritation or redness at all from this. It hasn't caused any breakouts either.

After a few weeks of use my skin is noticeably smoother and clear. It looks plump and the fine lines on my forehead and around my eyes have definitely softened. I have had people comment on how nice my skin looks which is a fantastic compliment.

I am excited to see how my skin looks with continued use. I am very happy with the results so far. Would I purchase this myself?  Hmmmm if I saw it on sale I definitely would but for me it is just a little bit expensive for my budget. Thanks so much BR for making me a part of this amazing trial!

This was such an awesome trial to be a part of. I’ve wanted to try Lancôme for a while now and I wasn’t disappointed!

The bottle is beautiful quality and the way you twist the lid to load the serum in to the dropper is great. I have to admit the amount it gave felt slightly to much to me but I rolled with it!

The serum itself feels silky and glides on beautifully. It isn’t scented which I like. It absorbed really quickly in to my skin and left no residue or sticky feel, it feels really lovely and luxurious.

The routine of applying this felt really self indulgent and my skin was nice and glowy afterwards. The whole procedure of using this was lovely.

So the important part! The results! I definitely noticed a difference in skin tone. The serum absolutely reduced my red areas and I love it for that alone. Overall my skin feels softer and I can’t wait to continue using this to see if it smooths out some fine lines.

I love this serum, I will absolutely use the bottle up and at this stage intend to rebuy!!

The packaging on this product was beautiful it definitely held the sense of a quality product.

The serum went on smoothly and left my skin silky smooth and ready for a moisturizer to lock in the goodness. I would definitely purchase this product and can see it definitely is well worth the price tag.

What can I say- love at first sight ...or use I should say. I love this serum. It’s so light and easy to use.

The bottle is perfectly weird - when you screw the lid on the dropper goes down so when you next open it the dropper is already filled with serum- no need to pump the air out to suck up the serum- I had never seen this before so was quite mind blown. It’s so simple but so handy! Perfectly measured each time and so easy to use.

The serum is very light and thin. One dropper worth smoothed easily over my entire face - I did use a second dose for my neck and décolletage which resulted in a bit of excess which I put over my hands after and I can say the back of my hands are looking very clear and soft. After applying this to my face - it looks like you have just had a facial- smooth, clear, bright and incredibly soft but not greasy. It just soaks in so easily and makes your skin look beautiful. When they use the words luminous and radiant in the description rest assured this is what you get.

There is no strong scent which I like as some of these higher end serums just smell like perfume.

Being sooo amazed by this serum I went and bought the matching day and night cream and have to say I think it’s a winning combination. Only a couple of days in to the whole combination but I’m loving it so far.
