This oil was part of a pack won and even though it is a serum designed for the skin I mainly use it as an aide to sleep or relax when tense.
This pretty bottle comes in a blue glass with a droplet topper to it so you can go steady with the amount you use, which is great as the concoction is pretty intense and a little really does go a long way.
Being in a sea of serums of late I found that although this serum doesn't do anything particularly incredible to my skin it does do wonders for my wellbeing and state of mind. After using this as a facial serum for a week I got the results as so many other serums before it, soft and supply skin with a nice bright healthy perkiness to it. The scent however saw me feeling very calm and aided my sleep on those particularly tense moments that I have endured over the past 6 months.
The aroma of borage being an uplifting citrus scent mixed with a few other florals and a spicy fruit kick from the pomegranate sees this as a perfect blend for those who are tight, anxious and nervous or who have had problems with sleeping.
How I use this now is during periods of upset, replacing out my night serum with this as it treats my skin and mind together. It also sees that by not using it all the time that it still remains poignant at times of need.
Yay bless you beauty review, I nabbed this from the May beauty vault and it was one of the products I ripped into and tried straight away. I love serums and find they help a lot with hydrating my dry skin.
The dark blue bottle is small (30ml) with a small pump top, There is a sticker placed on the bottle with directions and ingredients. On the sticker it also says to store in a dark place and to use within 6 months of opening. I have used just over 1/3 of the bottle in around 2 months. I do like how this is small because you only need a small amount the size of a pea.
This is very heavily scented, I'm not really 100% sure what the scent is perhaps the borage. It's quite florally I was expecting sweet and fruity since one of the ingredients is pomegranate but it's not the case. When you first dispense it, it smells quite citrusy then comes the florally scent. The serum itself is clear and takes a while to fully absorb into the skin
I was using this morning and night but found the scent to be too heavy during the day and it was competing against my perfume, so I have been using it just at night time and I also find the scent to be calming and relaxing perfect for night time when I want to unwind.
Since using this my skin is nice and fresh when I wake up in the morning and still hydrated. I don't think it has done a lot to improve the texture or lines but definitely helped with hydration.
