A brown glass bottle with a rubber top with a glass tube, a we squeeze this dropper sucks up the goodies. A small amount is all I need of this certified organic rosehip oil. A soft golden oil not grainy quite heavy but not thick, it has the faintest scent it just smells like olive oil.
This is rich in texture and takes its time to absorb into my skin, but when it does I'm left with soft moisturised skin with a bit of a shine. I mixed a couple of drops with a moisturiser and I had added moisturizing benefits. The best use I found for this was directly on the cracks on my finger tips. No stinging at all the moisturizing and healing I got from using this for extra dry skin is great.
I did find this quite heavy on my face and I did have the odd breakout using it every day so just now and then on the dry patches I had perfect results. Or a we amount applied all over then rinsed off worked really well. This is one I will repurchase for my dry old hands.
I have never used a Rosehip oil before and I have read so many good things about it. So on a recent trip to farmers I had to buy it. First thing that caught my eye on the box was the things it didn't contain no parabens, no sulphates, no artificial colours or fragrances just 100% certified organic rose hip oil it is also 100% vegan and no animal testing YAY
So it comes in a glass jar with a pipette which is great as you only need the tiniest little amount 2 drops is more than enough to do my face and neck I think any more and it would be too oily and wouldn't absorb.
The first night I tried this I had a major breakout the following morning. Probably a shock to my poor skin since it is usually so dry. So naturally I was a bit apprehensive about trying again but I was determined to get it right. So I have been using it every second night and alternating it with the moisture restoring night cream.
It does take a good few minutes for it to absorb into the skin but when it does i can feel that it has just soaked into the skin it doesn't leave any kind of residue just soft skin I had dry flakey patches that haven't healed and it seems moisturiser only does so much but this has helped heal them and I feel like my skin is slowly starting to feel softer and overall not so dry
Tips: Just keep trying with it if you get breakouts or alternate with moisturiser
