I’ve been using these exfoliating pads for a month now and I have to say it’s a great product especially if you’re like me and get a bit lazy with using cleansers that exfoliate that you have to wash off after a minute, I have mildly sensitive skin and I can use these peel pads 3/4 times a week at night and wait until morning to wash my face with no redness or bad side effects other products can give. Be ready for your skin to purge for a bit and don’t freak out when it does it’s expected with BHA/AHA products, your skin is just pushing out all the acne and impurities that were hidden in your skin x. The only downside to these peel pads is the sticky residue you have to endure until you wash it off, if you can’t handle uncomfortable textures on your face I definitely recommend either using Paula’s choice 2% BHA liquid exfoliant or an exfoliating face wash instead.
Tips: Definitely don’t overuse these 3/4 times a week is more than enough, if you have very sensitive skin it’s best to wash your face a few minutes after using the peel pads and slowly increasing how long it sits on your face just to be safe, not a good product for texture sensitive people, applying a hydrating moisturiser after and in between uses will ensure your skin won’t suffer from any dryness, not the most environmentally safe product so if that is important to you Paula’s choice or any other BHA exfoliant that isn’t in pad form is the best option.
