I've been using this as a spot treatment for a few months now and I've become a convert. It had been very affective at tackling spots as they appear. I have sensitive skin and made the mistake of forgetting this was 100% so slathering it all over my face resulted in angry dermatitis but since then by taking a more measured approach I have had no issues.. I now apply it directly on any pimples with a cotton bud. I'm actually a fond of the tea tree smell (although my family are still adjusting). Got the product from New World and though the price was quite good considering the strength.

Tips: More is not necessarily better!
I have this and it is great. The smell is very pungent and it has so many uses! I use it on my pimples and it takes a couple of days, but they started to clear up. It does leave a smell on your skin but it goes away after a while. My only complaint would be that the bottle is really small and it runs out fast.
I bought this product when I had a massive pimple on my chin. One of those that sit under the surface and hurt. I applied this twice a day in the hopes it would bring it to the surface. It did that and dried up the area fast. I always feel very clean after using it, and my pimples heal much faster when I use it.
I use this exclusively after I've popped a pimple (I know, I know! I shouldn't, I KNOW!!) as it has antiseptic properties as I wouldn't like to get an infection. It heals quite nicely after application. I find it doesn't really do much if you apply it to pimples, it doesn't speed up the normal life cycle of the pimple or anything. I still prefer something with salicyclic acid for that. A little goes a long way and I've had my tiny bottle for a year now and have barely made a dent in it. Some people find the smell a bit offensive but I actually quite like it :)
I picked this up from my local health shop when I was in a total skin rut, I had sore, red bumpy skin that was really getting me down on my chin, forehead and starting on my cheeks. I had heard that tea tree oil is great for antiseptic purposes so I wanted to give it a try.
Comes in a cute glass bottle, with a safety unscrew lid, I use a cotton round to apply it to the worst areas, and wow does it hit your senses! It is 100% pure tea tree oil, so it is quite strong and takes a few uses to get used to it.
I feel like I can feel it working its magic straight away, it makes it feel cooler, and in a few hours it dulls the redness away, and it most certainly helps the healing of it.
Only applying a wee bit at a time, otherwise it can have a burning effect to your skin which may dry it out. I am looking to purchase this again but I will get it in the bigger size so its cost effective.
Tips: Healthpost have very competitive pricing, check them out
I have this problem where my skin over heals it's self, when it has deep cuts, piercings ect! Which means I get keloid bumps on all my scarring, I read online that tea tree oil helps reduce the size of these keloids and eventually remove them! So I tried it, and it worked wonderfully! I find the smell to be really refreshing, although others may find it overpowering!
Tips: Diluting with water helps reduce the over powering scent and makes the tea tree oil solution less harsh on your skin as it may sting open wound areas ect!
I used the 15 percent concentration before using 100 percent . 15 percent is less harsh and hence on the long term works better . Years back I suffered from red acne bumps and this brought down the itchiness and redness overnight !! Drying out my acne and reducing its size . Tea tree oil an lavender worked well for me but over the years I became more sensitive to it
This is a great little product. We always have it on hand for any pimples, scratches, fungal 'what is that??'s, deterring nits and for making our awesome homemade baby wipes. Just a drop or two and you have a very natural antiseptic that smells lovely (bonus!).
The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is that it is a bit more pricey than other brands.
I picked this up after reading soem reviews on the forum, I had a huge zit coming through so picked this up at radius pharmacy for $9.99 the smell is of tea tree, it's strong but others around me couldn't smell it!
I also used it on my insect bites and it stopped them from itching- big perk!
it comes in a 10ml glass bottle with a drip type lid, so you tip it and the product comes out.
you only need a small amount and it absorbs into the skin quite quickly.
Tips: it will last a long time, use sparingly.
I used this as a spot treament for pimps put it on at night before bed and in morning before I apply my make up. reduces the time of healing for pimples
