Skinfood Exfoliating Scrub Review

I love Skinfood products, It was one of the first skincare brands I found that didn't break me out. Smells great and works great, It is definitely a gentle scrub. I prefer a finer scrub that feels like its doing a little more, so I prefer others compared to this. But I still use it quite often.

Skinfood as a whole has impressed me, its proving itself to be a great NZ brand. I really enjoy this scrub, it does exactly what its supposed to with just the right amount of scrubby ness! It isn't harsh, it washes off easily and leaves my skin feeling clean and smooth. For $13.99 you really cant go wrong.

Skinfood has to be one of my most favourite NZ brands. I am slowly accumulating all the products.

This is marketed as a face scrub but recently I've run our of body scrub so have been using it on my arms as well and it is amazing! I love the use of walnut shell for the scrub portion of it. The smell is fantastic to and not over powering. Skinfood always use amazing scents for their products. I would like it a little bit more abrasive but it is still amazing none the less and I will definitely repurchase.

This product was in my March Beauty Review Beauty Box, and then sat in my cupboard patiently waiting for me to pan my previous scrub. When I finally ripped into it I was super keen to give it a go, as I'd heard other girls raving about it.

The Skinfood Exfoliating Scrub comes packaged in a box, inside of which is the 100 ml tube of the product. Both box and tube are white, with lime , black and dark green accents and labels. From the beginning, it vibes as a natural product.

I love the list of natural ingredients on the front, as well as the loud and proud inclusion of the fact that this is a NZ made, natural-based and paraben free product. it looks quite a lot more expensive than it actually costs!

The tube is the 'useful' type, with the dispenser at the bottom allowing for maximum ease of extraction. The cap is sturdy, and the dispenser an appropriate size.

The product itself is a pale, creamy brown, and thick, with the darker flecks of walnut shell easily visible. The predominant scent is lime, which smells fresh and clean.

When I put this on my face it feels creamy and smooth, apart from the exfoliating particles, which are gentle but effective. It feels amazing on my face, and washes away cleanly to reveal refreshed skin that feels clean and smooth. The scent is enlivening. You only need a small amount to do your whole face as well.

I really like this scrub. I will definitely be repurchasing it, and recommending it to others. It's great to find such a quality Kiwi product, that is so readily available and well priced. I'll also be checking out the rest of the range.

I brought this product in a beauty sale in Auckland. I had heard a lot of great reviews about Skinfood before but thought I would give it a try myself!

I have very sensitive skin so I am always cautious of what I use on my face. This scrub was gentle, smelled nice and also left my face feeling nice & fresh.

Definitely give it a try if you are a Skinfood Virgin! You won't regret it!! :D

This is a fantastic exfoliator. The walnut shell feels great on my skin - like you're getting a really good, deep scrub. It instantly makes my skin feels clean, which is exactly what I need after a long day! My husband has started using it recently too, and raves about it. At this stage there is nothing I would change about it - occasionally my skin feels a bit dry, but a small amount of the Skinfood Light Moisturiser fixes that.

This exfoliating scrub is so lovely and gentle on skin. NZ made, paraben free. It did not dry my skin, deeply clean my skin, leaving it clean and refreshed. I love the nice smell of it. It is much better than St Ives scrub. Not harsh on skin (natural ingredients) and still exfoliate the skin incredibly well. LOVE Skinfood products

This is a lovely gentle exfoliating scrub that makes my skin feel fresh and clean while getting rid of any dryness and impurities on my skin.

I feel that the price is very reasonable as not only does it really do wonders for my skin but it is quite a natural soothing product that is made in NZ. A product being made in NZ is an absolute bonus in my book. I love this whole range!

Definitely worth trying this product out. I have dry, sensitive eczema prone skin and it worked awesome on me. My bf also loves this product and he has very oily pimple prone skin therefore I feel it works well on many skin types.
