L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Fragrance-Free Hydrating Cream

This is a rich, luxurious anti ageing cream that leaves skin feeling firmer immediately after use and the cumulative effect over a few weeks is less fine lines and plumper skin texture.

Oh, and did I mention it's fragrance free and suitable for sensitive skin?!

It really is a lovely product - comes in the classic L'oreal Revitalift packaging; box and jar.

It is smooth and cooling to use and absorbs into the skin easily.

I highly recommend to those who don't like or are sensitive to fragrance in their skin care - this is a great anti-ageing cream!

Upon receiving the package, I was struck by the fact that this is targeted to over 40s, I am in my mid-to-late 30s, however I have a Gordon Ramsey-esque vertical wrinkle between my eyes, so anything that will help with that - sign me up.

The jar comes in a cardboard box which advises the recyclability of the components, and the jar is glass with a shiny red and white lid which gives an air of luxury as it's quite heavy.

It says it is fragrance-free but doesn't smell like a normal unscented moisturiser, I feel it has got a pleasant scent but not at all overpowering.

The cream itself is thickish, and soaks in really fast, which does mean you use quite a lot per application. It left my skin nice and soft, and wasn't sticky or tacky. I also didn't react with redness or blotchiness after application.

I did like the way my skin looked after applying - a bit glowy and healthy-looking. However, as I have not been using it for four weeks yet I cannot comment too much about the fine lines and wrinkles claim. But my giant vertical wrinkle doesn't look quite as deep and my forehead lines don't seem as prominent. My pores are visibly reduced upon application. However, I haven't noticed much of a difference in my laugh/smile lines yet.

All in all, a nice hydrating moisturiser that holds promise at this early stage so I will keep using it and hope I see more results.

I love this day cream! Not only has it given my face the moisture it always desperately needs in Winter, it hasn’t irritated my Rosacea at all. The cream is thick and a little goes a long way, with no irritating fragrance. I must say I was a wee bit sceptical of the fragrance free claim, as every other fragrance free product I have ever tried still had a scent, usually chemical and extremely unpleasant. I’m happy to say that there is no discernible scent, chemical or otherwise, and that’s a huge plus for me. I feel my skin is softer, yet firmer and the dullness has been swept away. I have Milia on my face and tiny skin tags on my neck, and since I’ve been using this cream they have all but disappeared. Another awesome plus right there. I’d totally recommend this face cream to all my friends, it’s most definitely worth it, and I’m beyond happy with the results so far. Only 2 weeks of use and the results speak for themselves.

I've always been a fan of L'Oreal products so was happy to be picked for this trial! Packaging is standard for Loreal, nice square shaped container with an extra under lid seal which is easy to access and open. Moisturizer is a nice consistency, goes on beautifully under a full face of make up even on my oily/combo skin. There is a very slight fragrance which is pleasant and not noticeable which I like as I have sensitive skin and can have slight reactions to heavily fragranced products. After a week I noticed that my skin felt slightly firmer but after 2 weeks have not noticed any change in wrinkles or skin texture. All in all its a nice face cream but I don't think its going to be stopping me from splurging on Botox!

I like that the container is glass, and so can be recycled. A smooth, creamy formula. Feels nice on my dry skin, without any greasiness and creates a great base for my foundation. Could see some smoothing of the skin on my neck. Overall, pretty happy with this product, and would consider buying it in the future.

I have been using L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Fragrance-Free Hydrating Cream for over 1 week in the winter time. The cream is thick and heavy. I am using a bit more than usual and am applying about 1 teaspoon on my face and neck in a circular motion. At this rate, the pot of 50ml is getting emptied quite quickly.

I would be interested to try it in the Summer months, to see if the cream isn't too thick when the temperature is warmer.

After the morning application, my skin feels very well hydrated and stays so for the day. I can see my skin getting firmer.

The cream is fragrance-free, which is a bonus for sensitive skins.

I like the new eco-designed lightweight glass jar. The jar is made of 30% of recycled glass and the cardboard of the box is also 100% recyclable. L'Oreal products are fantastic for people who want to use products without animal testing.

I would definitely recommend the cream to people with sensitive skin.

My main reason for not giving this a full-star rating is the packaging. I love the fact that the jar is glass and recyclable (as well as 30% recycled), and it's a good firm seal and an easy lid to work with. However, I would prefer a pump bottle or squeeze tube for hygiene and protecting the product from oxidisation, etc., as well as for ease of application and 'dosage' control.

As for the product though... top marks. The consistency is lovely; a moist cream that's robust but not heavy or oily, and it absorbs beautifully into the skin, leaving it looking and feeling fresh and hydrated but not slick or shiny. I tried it on its own as well as on top of my normal serum, and it was perfect either way. And I LOVE how it smells. It's fragrance-free, of course, but its natural scent is something like sweetened whipped cream, which is just delicious. This doesn't linger much on the skin; it's just nice while you're applying it.

The formula itself seems great to me too. It's certainly hydrating and does actually seem to have improved the look of my dry, ageing skin. It just looks and feels overall a bit smoother, a bit firmer. I'm looking forward to continuing using it after the two-week trial, to see if it improves things further. And for my sensitive skin it's fantastic. I had no reactions at all, not even a bit of stinging on application. It felt soothing and nourishing the moment I applied it.

I'd say this jar would last me a few months if I used it just once a day, so for such a multi-tasking cream, I think this is great value.

It's hard finding hydrating, anti-ageing solutions for sensitive skins, so for me this is a winner. If you have dry, sensitive and ageing skin, I'd absolutely recommend trying it.

I was so hyped up for this cutie. I thought it could be everything I’ve dreamed of in a face cream .

I was super excited to try a hydrating, anti wrinkle face cream with NO fragrance. Fragrances can set off migraines for me .

Love the jar , it’s really cute, easy to screw off and scoop out your desired amount of cream. I love that it’s easy to unscrew . Those of us with carpal tunnel know the struggles of opening jars and packets.

The cream is white and unscented so it lives up to it’s no fragrance so that’s amazing! To me it was thin for a face cream , thinner that what I’ve used in the last in regards to L’Oréal Face creams. The cream was easily absorbed but a little sticky, which I found unusual .

Unfortunately using twice a day I didn’t notice any lifting, firming, hydrating, wrinkle reduction. It honestly felt like putting a cheap body lotion on. I have mature sensitive, oily , dehydrated skin.

However I loved using this on my hands and arms as those are the parts of my body I have neglected , do they enjoyed getting some moisture.

I will continue to use the jar up to see if there is improvement as the trial may not have been enough?

The cream feels quite think when you get it out of the jar but once on, it doesn't feel heavy at all. It kept my skin well hydrated throughout the day - my skin is normally very dry and sensitive. It left my skin feeling soft and smooth. I'd buy it again

I love this cream! Filled with skin loving goodies such as Pro-retinol and pro biotic extracts that help provide some 'lift', this fragrance free, creamy coloured cream does just that. Provides my sensitive skin with moisture, smoothness and a wee lift. This pot of cream does not contain sunscreen, and I feel like that is ok. I feel that it is better to apply sunscreen separately, as not only will it be more effective (not so dilute), but also makes ypu more aware of the need to add a spf. Thank you to BR for the opportunity to trial this gem. I feel like I would repurchase this often.
