I was so eager to try this, as a 41 year old woman I need all the hydration I can get. I appreciate the simple but attractive packaging. Looove that it doesn't smell too strong, it has a soft creamy smell, unlike others that irritate my nose. The consistency is creamy but not oily or thick. You don't need to apply a lot as it spreads easily which means that it will last a long time. No applicator is needed, just use your fingertips. Bonus, my fingertips feels like velvet every time!
My skin immediately soaked in the goodness. I straight away saw the difference! My skin seemed smoother, and so much plumper! After two or three applications, it looked like I had injectables as my skin looked way more hydrated, fine lines and wrinkles disapeared and defininely seemed plumper. I have oily skin and this did not worsen it. I like that this product is so affordable and does way more than some of the more expensive products I have tried.
I was lucky to be sent this to try out - but I have to say I have mixed feelings on it.
The pros: quite a simple crème, does the job and has a NZ local connection which is always a bit of a feel good moment
The cons: unfortunately this product just didn’t rock my world. I didn’t find it any different or more effective than other moisturisers I use. It was ok for body but way too thick and oily feeling for my face. Overall I wasn’t a fan of the oily feeling.
I also really don’t like the packaging. It feels so touristy and honestly a bit weird seeing sheep on beauty product packaging!
That aside, I wouldn’t purchase this again. Sure it did the job, but I didn’t find it any more beneficial to my skin than other products I’ve used before. I would say with the oiliness and thickness of the product in mind it may be best suited to someone with super dry skin. But for me, it just wasn’t a standout product.
Tips: Definitely more for body than face. Good for those times you have super dry legs and feel like you need more of a barrier crème
