NIVEA Coconut Lip Butter Review

I love the Vanilla & Macadamia Lip Butter. Lovely smell and feels great on the lips. Stays on and coats the lips nicely. Comes in a lovely tin which is easy to open and a great size. The unscented lip butter is also good but my first preference is the Vanilla. Often on special at The Warehouse and Supermarkets. Awesome value and lasts a long time.

Say what you will about Nivea but they do have their timeless pieces when it comes to keeping skin healthy. Their lip butter has been around for a long time and is a fall back that I resort to often when my lips just get beyond help and other balms/treatments stop working.

It is a thick balm that spreads out over lips giving them a shield like an effect when damaged or that niggling starts of chapped lips. It is really rich which is why I don't use it on the daily but when I am run down and my lips are taking damage this is my go to. The only problem I have is the tin is so small I lose them all the time and probably have half a dozen littered in bags, coat pockets, desk drawers, etc. But when I need one they all vanish so I end up buying a new one.

Gives you an amazing moisturise on your lips. I used this when my lips were chapped from the sun. This helped them heal super quickly. There is heaps in the package so it lasts ages! The price is also very fair. With a light smell and no strong taste like some other items. Would defiantly use this again.

Buttery smooth lips, yes! long lasting, yes! effects long term... well um, good but not great.

I tend to wear my balms at night now that I have found a daily lipstick to wear. That being said, this stays on all night and feels velvety silky in the morning but I feel it is only the surface that is benefiting. My other preferred balm feels like it is benefiting more than the outer layer deep.

love the smell of the caramel... it isn't very strong so you don't want to eat the contents of the little pot. which brings me to the packaging... I so wish it was a stick or tube rather than a tub as I have long nails it gets under them and if applied too heavily this goes white on my lips too.

All and all it is a good product, not the best but is great value for money

This product is such a great size, and is so easy to take in your bag everywhere! It hydrated my lips and left them feeling hydrated, but I found the formula quite sticky and it being in a tub it left my hands covered in the lip balm. I loved how moisturising it was, but is a lot easier to apply at home than on the go.

I love this product. It makes my lips super soft and smooth. I find that I get really chapped lips when I play sport due sweat. So this product replaces all the moisture in my lips.

It doesn't give a white cast like some products do. It's quite shiny which can be annoying sometimes but other than that it's great. It doesn't have a weird taste like other products I have tried.

The packaging is great. I like the fact that it comes in a tin because it's easier to gauge how much product is left. It is also harder to lose as I always lose lip balms that come in stick form.

I've been using this product for 3 months now I have only just been able to see the bottom of the tin. This product lasts a very long time.

This is a great product if you need more intense moisturisation of the lips than basic lip products can provide as it is very thick and creamy. This is definitely best suited as a night product to wear to bed so you will wake up with soft and supple lips as it is a bit too thick for daytime use and hard to put other products on over the top.

I think the pots are really cute but there are hygiene concerns with sticking your finger in there all the time so you might want to get a little spatula type thing to aid with this.

The formula lasts quite a long time as you can feel the effects on your lips for days afterwards and you get a decent amount of product for the price. Overall I would repurchase but I have other lip care products that I use more frequently.

I have the vanilla & macadamia one and the caramel one. Smells so nice!! I love this but i think it's too sticky and the packaging isn't really convenient for me either. I had kept it in my pocket and had accidentally bumped into a table. When I pulled it out, there was a dent in the back and the product inside smashed into the lid. Not a nice sight to see. Plus i had tried to keep it in my bag but the tin gets really dirty really easy. Apart from the packaging, it's very moisturizing especially over Benefit's Posietint where it locked in the colour.

I purchased the one in vanilla in macadamia because the caramel one I wanted was sold out at the time. I love the smell of the lip butter and it has a thick creamy texture. I apply this before bed as it more nourishing than some of my other lip balms, it also works well under lipstick. Best of all this product isn't sticky and is long lasting on the lips.

I purchased in the caramel flavor, and it smells so delicious, but I really felt that it did not last long at all. It was really nice to apply and smell the scent on my lips but I really don't think it would be very good for very dry lips. For me this is the product you use when they are already in good condition and to keep them that way.
