Amazing product!

I got sent a sample of Oasis Beauty Fruit Smoothie and I already want to buy the full sized product! I have never ever seen such fast results from a natural product before and it smells so good!

A little goes a extremely long way with this product. I think I used it about 7 times before I reached 1/2 way of the sample size. I'm very impressed how long this can last.

I used it 3 times a week to exfoliate. (Tues, Fri, Sun) straight after my shower when all my clogged up pores have opened fully. I like to rub this product in circular movements on my face then rinse off . Afterwards my face is feeling amazingly soft and fresh, my pores are unclogged and overall I notice a difference immediately. Love, Love, Love!!

My kind of smoothie!

After reading mixed reviews of this, I was hesitant to try it but as I received a sample I thought, why not? OH MY GOSH I am so glad I did!

On first appearance this product looks exactly like it has escaped from my kitchen blender. A pinkish-brown coloured paste that really does resemble a fruit smoothie, but without the smell or taste of course! I did like that it didn't really have a strong smell, a touch of fruit and clay, which made it feel more like a natural product to me.

I applied this after cleansing in quite a thin layer as I found you don't need to use a lot like most of the masks I'm used to. It felt nice and refreshing on my skin. I left it on 15 minutes or so before wetting with warm water to finish it off as a scrub. The fine exfolliating granules were the perfect size, allowing me to lightly buff the old skin away, revealing smooth, fresh skin underneath. A lot of masks and exfolliants work their magic with harsh chemicals that tingle, sting or leave your skin feeling raw, but this does it so gently it was pretty amazing to see such great results from it.

The next day my skin really looked glowing. I've used up my sample now and will definately be purchasing a full size bottle. The price is more than what I would normally pay for a mask, but for the results I received it's well worth it.

Tips: Follow this up with a nice serum or night cream, your skin will drink it up!

Fruit Smoothie

I've been hearing lots about this product, and was pleased to have received a sample of it. It comes in a tiny pot that gives 2-3 uses.

It is brown and goopy, but has a bit of a fruit scent so is nice to apply. The exfoliant is obvious when you put it on, and I love that you can choose to use it just as an exfoliator, to exfoliate and then mask, or to mask and then exfoliate. I love the versatility.

I used it as a mask and then exfoliated on removal. I could feel it drawing toxins from my skin in the 15 mins I left it on, and then scrubbing that off felt amazing. The product did dry a little, but the addition of some water made it a great exfoliator.

My skin felt so soft and clean after this. It was glowing (as silly as that sounds). I applied toner and moisturiser, and my skin is now looking and feeling great!

Highly recommend this stuff :)

Tips: Use as a mask, then add water to exfoliate away all the grossness.

Masque convert created!

As a starter let me say - I haven't used a face masque since I was a teenager and I stopped using them because they all made my face go red and feel tight, or do nothing. I am now a complete fan and this is a great product and combines an exfoliation with a masque so excellent time saver.

I got this in the mail to review and thought ok the package is quite small for what it costs (I later discovered you use hardly any so will last for ages); but it's lovely packaging and a nice sleek design for the bottle -this would be great to travel with. I like that it's a pump bottle so you can standardise what you use, but it would've been handy to have a guideline on the bottle as to roughly how many pumps you should expect to use. Also it states to apply to clean face so I was unsure as to whether it should be dry, damp or wet when you do that (I found slightly damp to be best). You can exfoliate or leave it first, I always rubbed it around a bit then left it for a few mins and washed off.

The smell is a really subtle fruity earthy scent, not overpowering at all and could be a bit stronger, it's more liquid than other masques/exfoliates I've used but this was a good thing as it spread really well and you get great coverage. It felt really gentle too when I was exfoliating with it so I was wondering if it would do a good job.

IT DID! This is such an awesome product, after washing it off my skin felt amazing and I want to use it everyday. Since I started using it I've literally halved my moisturiser usage. Incredible. My face didn't look red or feel tight, it 'glowed' straight after using it and has stayed that way since. I love it!

The best analogy I can use here is when you hear a song by a band you haven't heard before and love it so much you go and buy the whole album. I've since fallen in love with other Oasis products too after exploring their website and getting free samples sent so will definitely be purchasing more. A total win and I would recommend this to everyone, dry or oily or combination this would work for all I think.

Tips: - Don't leave it on longer than 8 mins, I found 5-6 mins to be a good length of time.

- I used ~8 pumps of product to cover my face and neck, it doesn't have to be a thick coating

- Go easy on your moisturiser after using it -- you will need way less!

- Go to the oasis website and get free samples sent to you!!

Smoothie for Smooth Skin

After a week of stressful studying, my skin was looking dull, uneven and bumpy. I decided I needed a pickup and reached for the Oasis Fruit Smoothie.

The product itself reminded me of BB cream, with the colour, being a beige/brown! The product has a thick consistency and can sit on the palm of my hand without moving, however the texture was silky, and had an almost velvet consistency, with the exfoliating beads being small, and gentle within this product. I could not describe the product as having a fruity smell, but instead, I found the product had a subtle almond essence fragrance. Not sure if I’m the only one who compared it to this, but that’s what It smells like to me!

This product is easy to apply, and I usually just use my fingers for application. The product spreads out in a thin layer, which is all you need for great results. I left this mask on for 15-20 minutes, and although my face did slightly tighten when the product dried, it was not an uncomfortable feeling. After the product dried, I wet my hands and began using the product for its next purpose- an exfoliator. The beads were so gentle, and it actually felt nice that my skin was getting some TLC.

The results- Wow, my tired and stressed skin looked like it was brand new. I think the best words to describe the results are ‘fresh’ and ‘radiant’. Because that’s exactly what my skin looked like. What’s more it, my skin felt so good, I had to actually restrain myself for touching my face non-stop. That’s how good it felt! Additionally, I have dry combination skin, and this product did not dry my skin out, which is rare, and makes it a winner in my books.

The only slightly negative aspect about this product is the price. As much as I love it, it will be hard to repurchase at the moment, due to my student budget. However, I do think this product is worth the price, so when it comes on special, or when I can manage to save up enough money, I will definitely be repurchasing.

Tips: Ask Oasis for a sample of this product before you buy it, great way to try it before you buy it.

Smooth smoothie

This is one smoothie that goes down a treat, natural and organic and just yummy. Attractive enough it looks and smells clean and green good for your skin and friendly. A nice see through pump action bottle pretty enough to hold its own with any high end product sitting on the bathroom cabinet. This is a lovely dusky pink coloured gritty lotion that has a citrus/ fruity scent that is amazing. There are a couple of ways to use this use as a masque and the exfoliate off or exfoliate and leave it on as a masque. I have found this to be a skin brightening treatment for me, my skin does look smoother and softer. I get a lovely exfoliating treatment with this and I'm sure the enzymes in this mask do my skin wonders leaving my skin feeling invigorated and alive. Gone are any traces off dry flakey patchy skin. I'm a bit on the heavy handed side with this as I put it down my neck as well and maybe in a previous life I was a giraffe so I use a bit. Im really happy with the smoothness of my skin using this. A lovely product well worth the money.

Oasis Exfoliant Mask

Oasis is a New Zealand brand that has produced skin care that is natural and organic. At the time Oasis had free samples. I received this in a three pack. I also got sent some more samples of this Mask recently this year by a fellow Beauty Review Member. I had read all the raving reviews about it and I was excited to try it.

I had been given one sample pot and another gift pot. I managed to get about six applications with this mask. The consistency reminded me of an exfoliant. It's a red orange clay look to it. It has jojoba beads in it. They feel like grains of sand. It's consistency was like an exfoliator not as thick as you would normally expect with a mask. I found the scent of it unusual. I didn't really pick up on the fruit scent within it.

My first application with this I washed my face and hands before hand. I used about a fifty scent piece size to cover my face. I left it on for about ten to fifteen minutes roughly. I found it easy to spread out over my face. I noticed that my whiteheads on my nose had come out with my first application. After I removed this mask my skin felt smooth and clean. My skin did feel slightly dry after it. I did still have some blackheads remaining, but worked well on white heads. On further applications with this I didn't get the same result with white head removal, not sure why.

Overall I thought was a good exfoliant. Not sure about it being a mask though, I think there is room for improvement for deep penetration to my skin. I think it's good to try samples before investing in a large amount of money for this product. I probably would buy a larger version of this as I did enjoy it as an exfoliant. It's priced fairly. A good product to try out.

Smoothie skin

Definitely a fan of oasis and having testers available to try before purchase is a huge bonus. Having sensitive skin and allergies I've wasted a lot of money on products not suited for my skin. But this is amazing - especially as an exfoliating scrub.

I must admit this bottle is easier to use than their previous bottle design. Gravity works with you on this so it's easy to dispense and use, as it is slightly thicker.

It doesn't really smell that fruity but because it's a nice exfoliant I can look past this. It's a thick creamy consistency with the most perfect size beads. It is hard to retain natural scents in products but all the ingredients are there.. it has a great list of ingredients using pineapple for example that is a natural exfoliant itself with its enzymes that actually eat away at your skin.. nom nom nom.

It's the little jojoba beads that do the grunt work and give the great results. I found it better as an exfoliant than a mask but it really is the beads that do all the work. They give the right amount of abrasivness to leave your skin feeling refreshed - they aren't too big like the st. Ives exfoliant and not too small like the goodness exfoliant.. it's in between. So if you need a mid size exfoliant it's perfect. If you crave a smaller or bigger exfoliant bead try one of those other brands.

Really effective - I feels like it does scrub the skins surface and leave you with the most perfectly smooth skin. It never felt like I had over or under done it so was never left disappointed.

The one pinch point for me is the price. Wait for a sale I got one half price with purchase so it was quite reasonable. It's the only thing that would sway me to another brand if it wasn't available on sale.

Otherwise it's perfect.

Marvelous Mask (and scrub) <3

I'm a huge fan of facemasks so having one combined with a scrub in a brand I already love was just too good to resist!

The first thing you notice is the smell! YUM, it really does smell like a tropical fruit smoothie but is obviously designed to go on your face rather than in it ;)

I’ve been using this once a week for the past couple of months and my skin has never looked better. My pores are clearer and I find makeup goes on easier as my skin is so smooth and in great condition. I usually leave it on for about 10mins before a shower as a mask and then get stuck into the exfoliating part when I’m in the shower. Colour wise the mask ends up being a pinkish/ brown on your face so you look like a tragic foundation colour-match disaster for a short time but its well worth it!

One of my favourite things about the product is the grit level of the scrub. The fine exfoliating particles do such a great job of getting rid of old skin and leave everything feeling super soft.

As others have mentioned, its not as cheap as a supermarket brand product but if you have the cash its well worth buying :o)

Yowza! THE next product on your wishlist!

I went in to this with so-so expectations. For some reason face masques and my skin just don't result in anything spectacular - then came along Fruit Smoothie.

First impressions - average size tube, simple label, nothing particularly exciting. To be honest it doesn't look like it warrants the $40 price tag. (Clearly they saved all their energy for what's inside!)

The product comes out looking like a tinted moisturiser, but a bit thicker. I used about two pumps and applied it as a thin layer to my face. The smell was amazing, so fruity. There's no tightening and just a little bit of a tingle.

After about ten minutes I hopped in the shower and rubbed the product in, gently exfoliating my face. I rinsed it off and got on with my shower.

As soon I dried my face I could feel the difference. My skin was smooth and just looked better. To be honest my skin felt so good I didn't even apply my serum or night cream, I ran straight out to my husband and demanded he feel how smooth my skin was. He said "wow I can feel it even with the rough skin on my fingers" (he's lucky he didn't get anything more than a death stare, how dare he touch my super soft skin with a callous.)

I've been using this twice a week now, since you only need a couple of pumps it's going to last a while, making it quite economical really. My skin has never looked nor felt better, I think it's the gentle and natural equivalent to a peel. My skin tone looks much more even and I've had no breakouts at all since using it.

I look forward to using it and will definitely repurchase, I don't think I could be without it now! I'm certainly going to check out more of the Oasis range.

Tips: Don't be miffed by the pump - you need to vigourously pump to get it going. I unscrewed it and was surprised to find no straw, I think it works on a vacuum premise, so the first time you use it, just keep pumping.
