L'Oréal Paris Age Perfect Collagen Expert Retightening Care Regime

My favourite product of the three was the eye cream. I had the beginnings of bags under my eyes and since using the cream they have gone.

The Night and Day creams are amazing and my skin has demonstrated vast improvements in just three weeks or so!

I think the products are economical and will work out very cost effective. I like that such excellent products are available in the supermarket, it means I don't need to do a separate trip for great skincare.

What I love most about being able to trial products for Beauty Review is finding gems that I wouldn't have necessarily purchased for myself. Although I have become a product snob in my old age, I am also constantly bombarded with beauty care advertising from every angle. Yes, I'm the person who struggles to reconcile buying skincare/make up from the same place I buy my cat food... BUT... I am also very happy when this belief is put to shame. My holy grail budget buy eye liner, came from a BR trial and I haven't strayed from it since. Which brings me to this trio of products from the L'oreal Age Perfect Collagen Expert Retightening Care Regime- Eye, Day and Night cream. They are not products I would have ever considered but they have, well and truly, exceeded my expectations. I used the regime religiously over the trial period- following my usual cleansing regime and without changing my current day and night serums. I have to say I have been very impressed by all 3 products, with my fav. being the luxurious night cream. Although at first sight, they look quite thick and heavy, this does not equate to greasy and in fact, they are 'light' very readily absorbed, extremely hydrating and hence, plumping. I have very annoying 'menopausal' skin. It is on the most part, dry but if you over 'feed' it, it will grow pimples and congestion quick smart. With this regime I had no such issues- it kept my skin hydrated 24/7 and I didn't breakout as I usually would with this type of cream consistency. My lines were softened and my skin texture appears both hydrated and plumped. I did not notice any lightening or tightening per se but I am very happy with the results I did get. Hydration and plumpness does make your skin look firmer anyway. I will continue to use this regime and have already recommended it to a few of my mature lady friends. Thanks BR

I'm so happy i got to trial this trio. The minimal fragrance on a couple and the oh so little you need to use has impressed me right off. I'm convinced that my skin looks better and has less sag, particularly around the decolletage area. My skin even feels better. Not sure if its tackled the age spots much yet, but otherwise i'm happy. If teamed up with the same in a cleanser and toner this would make an even better product.

I was delighted to be included in the review team for these products. A total care regime is the best way to go for complexion care and these products go a long way to living up to expectations. I am 70 and my complexion is often admired; I have always looked after my skin. I do endorse using the three products together. I used the eye cream at night because i thinks it gets good nourishing time without makeup! All three creams are easy to smooth in and I have no residue on my skin at all. I wear makeup every day and its important to find the right combo of creams. This does it for me.

I have used all three products for 3 weeks now, i'm not sure about the retightening of my skin, but they are certainly moisturising, and they all settle well into the skin. The eye cream is quite light, and i prefer what i was using but i really loved the day cream, if only it had an spf in it, it would be perfect. The night cream was ok, not quite as hydrating as the day cream. I will continue to use all three products until they are finished as 3 weeks is probably not enough time to get a good feel to how they are working. But i do love the Day cream and will definately repurchase this one!

EYE CREAM Like most of L’Oréal Paris' moisture products this is a good all round eye cream. Created for mature skin it's a tiny bit thicker in consistency than others in the range I've used but not overly, and doesn't feel greasy or heavy. lt glides on nicely and has a barely detectable fragrance, so not overpowering in that regard. This product has collagen and claims to firm and retighten skin. After 10 days or so of using this, I am happy with the result; the skin around my eyes looks plumper and the lines less obvious.

DAY CREAM I am a little disappointed in this day cream by my favourite skincare brand L’Oréal. Yes, it is designed for the more mature skin but I find it far too heavy for a day cream. It’s not easy to apply and to be honest I can’t find a lot of difference between this and the night cream consistency wise. It also does not contain a SPF which is an absolute must these days. However, once on it seems to do the job okay and my skin feels hydrated all day.

NIGHT CREAM I’ve found over the years that the older you get the heavier the moisturisers seem to get, They don’t necessarily nourish your skin any better, and quite often you're left with a heavy, greasy residue after struggling to apply it as it's so thick, which is not a pleasant experience.

So, it was a happy surprise to try this night cream. lt's not thick, and it glides on easily, and is not greasy and in the morning my skin still felt nourished and hydrated and looked it. lt has a very subtle fragrance and comes in the L’Oréal Paris signature square glass jar, which l also love as the lid is flat and you can stack them on top of each other.

REGIME Created for 50 plus these formulas contain Collagen Amino Acid Fractions which claim to visibly firm and retighten skin, plus a melanin block which helps reduce age spots and pigmentation, so I’m looking forward to seeing more results after a bit more use. L’Oréal Paris don't test on animals which is a big thumbs up from me too.

I found using the three products together worked well to ensure my skin looked firm and refreshed. The products were easy to apply and absorbed quickly. My skin texture was more uniform and event.

The day and night creams both come in identical 50 ml white glass jars but the night cream has a small blue band with night written on it. The eye cream has the same design but in a 15ml jar.

I have noticed my face feels softer, more supple and hydrated. You only need to use a small amount each time for your face, neck and around the eyes. The spreading of the face creams is helped with warmth as you massage them in and the eye cream spreads very easily. All three creams absorb easily. After using every day and night it appears several of my darker spots have lightened and the fine lines around my eyes have been kept at bay which I am very happy about. Moreover I feel there is a slight tightening under my jaw line however it has only been two weeks so am looking forward to see if these improvements continue.

I loved using all three products that are designed to work synergistically.

Overall, I found that L'Oreal again meets the needs of women’s skin whatever age. It is reasonably priced and readily available and are 'on special' regularly in the supermarkets.

I would continue to use this brand and would recommend it to my friends and family

This regime consists of a day cream, an eye cream and a night cream.

These products are in the Age Perfect range. These products are specially produced for specific ages in mind. These particular products are made for age 50+. When I use skincare products I try to use ones from the same range, as they are made to be used together and will give the best results.

These products used together, for me helped the skin around my eyes look firmer and my age spots seem not so dark. I really enjoyed the night cream, it is thick and creamy, and pure lux. Just lovely to use, an amazing scent and in the morning I loved the look of my skin after the cream did it's work through the night.
