Swisspers Micellar & Rosewater Wipes Reviews

I love the smell of these. They smell very calming and relaxing. The wipes are large, don't fall apart when used and stay moist once open. They are very gentle on skin and remove foundation well. Unfortunately, they didn't remove my waterproof mascara very well and I had to resort to my usual method of removal.

As someone who has very sensitive skin and tends to break out when I use a lot of products, especially those that don't get washed off, this is great and didn't give a reaction at all. They left my skin feeling clean, soft and moisturised.

I would recommend these wipes with the caveat that you'll probably need to stick to your normal waterproof mascara remover. As a reference, I use Estee Lauder Double Wear Zero Smudge Mascara that normally removes very easily with just warm water.

love love love these.... As a new mum time for me is precious and often rather limited. with these I was able to get that lovely fresh clean feel all while juggling a screaming baby! I found the wipes left my face feeling fresh and clean. They had a pleasant smell and are a lot easier than trying to juggle the bottled micellar water. It might be quite expensive to use them all the time but definitely handy to have around. I will definitely buy these again to have on hand.

These are great! The smell is very fresh and 'clean' and not too strong. They're easy to use with just enough moisture but not so much that it bubbles (like some wipes do!). I find that they very easily remove makeup - including water proof mascara that is sometimes tricky to get off. They leave my skin feeling fresh and clean and relatively soft. I don't feel the urgent need to moisturise after. As far as wipes go, I really do like these. I'd definitely be keen to give a micellar water version of this a try as I think wipes are an easy way to be mean to the environment. Good for travelling though and using every now and again! But really, the nastiness to the environment is the only reason I wouldn't repurchase, otherwise, woo!

I will start with this statement, ‘I haven’t used facial cleansing wipes in 6 months’ (trying to stop my use of single use products), but I really liked these wipes. Starting with appearance, the packaging is super cute, compact as most facial wipes are, and comes with a snap close lid. The wipe I found was a lot stronger then wipes I have used so didn’t pull apart when stretched, it has a lot tighter weave so didn’t thin out either which I found with other brands. When wiping off my foundation/makeup I found that because the wipe was a little thicker I didn’t get makeup bleed through the wipe and onto my hands, it also took off quiet a lot of makeup very easily. Having the micellar already on the wipe also help this makeup removal a lot easier too. When removing wipes from the packet I found it wasn’t soaked with product, bonus! The rosewater scent is pleasantly strong but doesn’t linger long after use, I personally love it for both these reasons. Being rosewater it left my skin feeling toned, clean & refreshed without the use of water and an entire cleansing routine. In the past 3 days I have travelled for work and found keeping the packet in my car has helped keep me fresh faced between meetings and store visits. I have picked up another packet for use while on holiday and when travelling for work, but for at home I will stick to a flannel, micellar and clearsonic (May add a few drops of rosewater in too). For $7.99 it is a little pricey for cleansing wipes but you do get a great product and convenience.If used right you can use one wipe per use, so that could be a months worth if used daily.

I really enjoyed using these wipes and have recommended them to a few friends and family. I do have combination/sensitive skin, but have found these wipes didn’t cause any irritation or reactions.

Really good wipes, great at removing makeup they claim to remove even waterproof mascara which they did do but it took a bit extra. They have a very strong rose scent but other than that I really recommend.

I'm a big fan of wipes generally because sometimes it's night time and I need to take my makeup off properly but I just don't wanna, y'know? So I was almost a fan of these before I even gave them a go. But what I genuinely do love about this product is that they are so soft on the skin (no warm red face after using them so they are soothing too) and do a really good job at removing stubborn eye makeup, which is essential.

They have a rosewater smell, which I really like as well. They just smell clean. :)

These wipes come in pretty packaging. The have a plastic opening on the top allowing for easy removal of the wipes, this also ensures the wipes don’t dry out. They have a have a pleasant rose scent which I isn’t too overpowering. My face felt fresh after using these. The found them not that effective in removing eye make up however I would still use them again.

As someone who has never missed her skincare routine every night for the past couple of years, the Swisspers wipes had a lot to live up to!

My first impression of the wipes was that it was thicker than your average wipe. Not rougher in texture, but definitely more dense - I could compare it to a very thin cloth or thick Kleenex tissue. In terms of the smell, it's not.. pleasant. I immediately thought of moth balls (if they were slightly rose-scented).

Ever since receiving them I've been exclusively only using these when taking off my face at the end of the day which is SUPER hard for me as I never feel like wipes alone can completely remove makeup/cleanse your face(-and this sentiment stands true)! In the first couple of days I noticed a few pimples and whiteheads pop up randomly on my face which was a hugely discouraging, but I persevered and stayed committed. Thankfully those pimples went away... only to be replaced by new ones (though to be fair, my pimples are never super bad and can be easily covered with concealer if I so desire to).

Regarding the removal of visible makeup, I think they do a pretty decent job. You can clearly see traces of eyebrow pencil, bronzer, concealer, and lipstick all on the wipe after I've finished completely rubbing my face with it. I wore Toofaced's waterproof mascara to test the theory and it sadly did not remove all traces because the following day, post-shower, I had slight panda eyes.

In conclusion, do I think it truly removed and cleansed a day's worth of makeup and grime? Definitely not. Would I use it again? Yes, but not as a sole makeup cleanser. I think it's great for when you just want a quick fresh face or need to wipe a makeup boo-boo. Nevertheless, Swisspers has done a decent job and I applaud them - although I think the "just stepped out of a day spa" is more placebo than factual.

I was tentative to accept this trial, as I’m not usually a fan of makeup wipes or miscellar water. When they arrived I was impressed with the packaging, I like purple and pink, so an easy appeal to me. Opening the pack is fairly easy, and I am impressed with the easy re-seal to keep them fresh and moist. The wipes themselves have a nice subtle scent and are quite thick with just the right amount of moisture. Removing makeup was surprisingly easy, even my waterproof mascara is removed with just a couple of swipes, one wipe removed all my makeup and left my skin feeling lean, but not stripped. I’ve been using these for over a week now, and still happy to use them as my main cleansing. These are the wipes I’ll be purchasing in the future, especially next time i need them for removing stage makeup.
