Neutrogena Pore Refining Exfoliating Cleanser Review

it was nice to receive a full size sample to try and was very happy with this product. I have sensitive and oily skin and found this left my face lovely and smooth. It says to be used everyday but I would recommend using every second or third day along with the pore refining cleanser that is available ( the blue one) I would buy this again as it is effective yet gentle.

This product is great. It really delivers on its promises! My skin feels amazingly clean after using this product and has been visible clearer since I've started using it as well. I cannot yet see a significant difference in the size and appearance of my pores, but I have only been using the product for a week so far. The product also has a pleasant smell and feel gentle on my skin.

The first thing I noticed about this product was the size of the bottle. It's a lot of face wash for the money! It's also easy to hold with wet hands, which I find important. The second thing I noticed was the smell of the product. Whilst smelling fresh, it did remind me more of a household cleaner than face wash. That aside, it really works! It is a lot more gentle than the scrubs I am used to using, but the difference in my skin was immediate. Even just washing the product off after the first use, I could feel my skin was softer. It has helped with some problem areas of dry skin, and also patches of acne. It's gentle enough for everyday use. I would definitely buy this product again, and highly recommend it, especially to people who enjoy a gentle scrub.

I have been using the Neutrogena pore refining exfoliating cleanser for a week now and have hardly made a dent in the tube, so am picking this is going to last quite a while. The packaging is durable, and has survived a few trips in my gym bag so far.

The cleanser; this is a lovely thick and creamy cleanser with small microbeads, an almond or hazelnut sized drop was enough to cleanse both my face and neck with a mild fragerance. It's fragerance is not offensive, but is equally nothing special. (though i'd probably not want anything too fragrant on my face). I have combination skin, which can be rather sensitive to some products, but so far all is well. The results: Over the past week i've seen a reduction in the size of visible pores on my face, and to my mind the product is so far living up to it's claims, though i'd like to try it for a bit longer to see if there are further changes. I would most certainly recommend this product to others to try.

This is a great cleanser which I would definitely recommend to a friend. It has a thin, milky consistency and has a small proportion of exfoliating beads throughout. Unlike Neutrogena's pure exfoliants, it is not predominantly made from the beads, so it is not overly harsh on skin. The cleanser is odourless, applies easily, massages well into the skin and lathers up nicely so you can feel it working. The exfoliant beads work to remove dead skin, whilst the cleanser cleans our your pores. Afterwards skin is left feeling fresh, clean and smooth. I use this product every morning, as I feel that the gentleness of the exfoliant beads is not too harsh on my sensitive skin. I still get breakouts, but overall I feel my skin has improved after using this product.

I first tried this product a couple of years ago and I have re-purchased it a number of times.

It has tiny micro beads that gently buff and polish the dead skin away, and it kind of stings a little around the nose at first then when rinsed away skin feels soft and pores are definitely tightened. The product is a creamy white medium consistency lotion that spreads easily and is easy to use. I found it has a kind of chemically scent to it that wasn't too strong nor nauseating. I used to use it daily but I find once or twice a week is enough for me.

I only tend to use this in winter when I kind of hibernate away indoors, as the AHA tends to make skin more sensitive to sun exposure and I already have hyper-pigmentation that doesn't need to be enhanced.

Do not get this in your eyes... EVER! this is something that if you do happen to suffer the misfortune of doing you will learn to never ever again. Keep those peepers closed until you know all traces have been rinsed away!

This product comes in a rather non descript white tube and at $15.99 for nearly 200mls is great value for money. It is not the prettiest looking product, but its what is on the inside that matters.

I like to use scrubs in the shower. I don't think I am a messy person, but sometimes stuff gets everywhere!

I tried this one morning in the shower. I used a circular movements. It was soft in scent and was not harsh on my face at all. once I got out and dries off I checked my face in the mirror, I did not notice any redness or irritation, in fact my skin looked clean and smooth and felt so soft. I did my make up as usual and it all seemed to on as nice as it usually did.

The next time I used this was in the evening a few days later. I removed my make up with my usual make up remover and then used this scrub. I got the same satisfying result as the first time I used this.

I will continue to use this scrub as I like how my skin feels and looks afterwards. I don't think it did anything for the size of my pores, but then I don't think my pores are too large.

I would recommend this to friends saying it is a very good scrub, leaves your skin looking great and feeling better.

This product actually did reduce the size and visibility of my pores. I tend to get large pores on my cheeks (on either side of my nose), and this definitely made a difference. The alpha and beta hydroxy formula leaves my skin feeling clean and toned, without feeling dry. A very nice product.

I was very excited to receive my cleanser and jump on the less visible pores bandwagon so rushed to the bathroom to try as soon as it arrived. On first glance I was pleasantly surprised with the size on the tube defiantly good value for money. The packaging is basic nothing fancy but this isn't unusual for a cleanser.

First time using it was a at home no makeup day for me so using a small amount I used to manufactures instructions. The product has a slight gritty texture nothing too harsh I actually prefer a tad more grit to my exfoliator just to get that extra clean feeling but this actually did a good job my face felt soft and smooth for the rest of the day and I defiantly saw a difference in my pores they were smaller and more closed. I checked every couple of hours or so to see if the appearance of my pores changed at all but they seemed to stay refined all day so far so good.

The next day was a makeup day so cleansed my face in the morning popped my make up on and off I went. I knew I wouldn't really know if it had made a difference until later in the day when my pores decide to make an appearance through my makeup like usual so I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best but alas I saw pores by the end of the day maybe slightly less but not by much.

I am although going to keep using it is a great cleanser/exfoliator the pore refining part just might not be super awesome but never know some things work better long term so I've still got a little hope.
