Neutrogena Naturals Purifying Facial Cleanser

The main reason I got this was because it was marketed on the natural aspect and natural ingredients. Unfortuntately this product does not smell or taste natural. When I wash off in the shower, and the water runs over my lips, the taste is horrid.

As far as effectiveness goes, it is ok. I have just finished the bottle, but wont be buying another one.

I decided to buy this cleanser after reading the reviews on here. I normally like Neutrogena products, so was hoping I would love this one! My initial thought was that it was smaller & a little bit more expensive than the other cleansers you can buy at the supermarket. I have sensitive skin that tends to react to some things. After using this I was happy as my face didn't feel tight like it does after using some other cleansers. I have needed to edit this review as 2 days later this product gave me a reaction, my eye lids became red and I got contact dermatitis. Not sure which ingredient caused this, as most Neutrogena products have be fine. I have rang Neutrogena and told them about this.

I purchased this after my boyfriends sister raved about it. I love Neutrogena usually and was super excited about trying this as it is mostly natural ingredients.

Unfortunately for me, about a minute into using this my skin felt hot and itchy. It went really red and I immediately washed it off. I had a red face for 2 days afterwards and my skin was really inflammed.

Thinking it could have been a reaction to a new shampoo I was using, I tried this again a few days after and had the same reaction to it :(

My skin at the time was really sensitive (hence why I was trying to use natural products), so this could have been the reason I reacted so badly.

In the interest of fairness I can't say whether this works or not because I had such a bad reaction to it. I was really upset because I was really interested in this product and ended up giving it to my boyfriend's sister instead.
