I find this grapefruit facial scrub an average product. I've used it once before and found its not so hash and gritty on my skin as other facial cleaners like st Ives. Only thing about this product I didnt like was the smell of it smelt like underarm b.o - but the texture of it was average and did the job for a cheap supermarket scrub

another one i didnt like the smell of was like body odour mixed with grapefruit i only tried twice so i cant say much about it i wont buy this again due to the smell
I have dry, sensitive skin, and many other exfoliators are very rough and harsh on my skin, leaving my skin feeling tight and stripped. I was pleasently surprised when I used this scrub! The beads are small and round so exfoliate my skin without being too rough or harsh
I used to use this religiously a few years ago and I keep coming back to it. It smells amazing and is super refreshing. It does a great job at smoothing out skin texture and giving your a fresh clean feeling. Paired with the face wash it's the perfect skin care for summer.
I found this product to work as it says and helped to rid my skin of blemishes, the scent was very pleasant and the exfoliating beads were great too. But, did leave the skin fairly dry which can be counteracted by moisturising. Overall a good product.
Tips: Moisturise after use.
this scrub is great as the exfoliating beads are really small and gentle on the skin. this scrub also smells beautiful and is suitable for daily use
If you have super oily skin, this might be the product for you but for the rest of us it is one of the most drying cleansers I have ever tried. It's great for a mild exfoliation and the beads are just the right amount of exfoliation- not to soft but not too hard. I found that the Salicylic acid helped with my acne and blackheads but unfortunately no amount of Clinique Moisture Surge could undo the drying affect.
I brought this a while ago as my usual cleanser wasn't available and I thought the grapefruit scent might be nice as well. I have always thought nutrogena products were nice, but this one is definately one I wouldn't repurchase again which is a shame because I really wanted to like it. For me, the only thing going for it is the smell. It smells amazing and fresh - I love the grapefruit scent. Other than that though, Im not that impressed. To me, it doesnt feel like a scrub should. Iv'e tried some good ones and some not so good ones both high end and cheap, and they all feel like a 'scrub'. maybe I have a dud but I can barely even feel the microbeads, and theyre so big and soft that they either wash away or just move around without much scrubbing action. I have found like other reviews that it is quite drying and Im pretty sure it just comletely strips the oils off of your face completely. I have tried things like using a smaller amount, reducing frequency but neither of these have seemed to make a difference I have to apply quite a lot of moisturiser afterwards because it makes my face feel so dry its itchy and tight.
I do really like Neutrogena products and I have been using their Pink Grapefruit Scrub regularly for about a year now. It is not a product that I use every day but I do use it at least once per week when I want a deeper exfoliation.
It smells lovely, brightens skin and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin when used once a week or so.
Tips: For those of you who find it drying, try cutting down usage to once a week and see how you go.
It looks pretty, smells wonderful, and really does do a great job of exfoliating your skin. However, it is incredibly drying. I used this product for a while to try control my acne, and although it did help intially, it began to really dry out my skin. To compensate for the dryness, my skin started to produce more oil which ultimately caused my acne to get worse. If it wasn't so drying, it would be a fantastic product.
