Swisspers Cleansing Eye Make Up Remover pads Review

I received this in one of the Sample Bar boxes (ZZZZZ! how boring). I've used it a few times, only for removing liquid eyeliner if I've made a mistake whilst applying and it seems to work ok. It was a little rough around the corners of my eyes, and also it seemed to just spread the eyeliner around a bit before actually removing it (very frustrating).

These were nice and gentle, but didn't get my eye makeup off too well, meaning I used the entire pack pretty quickly. Not great value for money.

Takes quite a while to get mascara off, and leave lots of moisture on skin. Smears quite alot. For the price i would probably buy again, but wipes dont last long at all so not very money efficient

I take these with me when travelling and use them to remove makeup from my eyebrows and under my eyes. They remove makeup quite well, though I find them to have a rough texture that feels scratchy under the eyes - not very pleasant. They also pulled out some of my eyelash extensions when I tried to remove some eyeliner. The small resealable pack makes them great for taking away, but I would not use them everyday due to the harshness.

I bought these mainly because they were so cheap and they are great to have in your makeup bag or gym bag for times when you really don’t have that much time or inclination to go through an entire makeup removal/cleansing process.

I have really sensitive skin so I normally use coconut oil or rosehip oil to take my makeup off so I was keen to see how these fared.

I always wear a waterproof mascara to so I like to put these things to the test!.

These did exactly what they said they would do, they removed my eye makeup (foundation/eyeliner and waterproof mascara) with very little rubbing. They didn’t take my makeup off first swipe but second swipe and we were done - I can live with that. I also used it to take the rest of my makeup off aswell and it did pretty well.

I had no reaction to the product, some wipes make my eyelids sting - these didn’t do that, it took all my makeup off pretty easily and left my skin feeling clean and fresh. Only a very light fragrance. This little travel size is perfect for popping in your handbag or gym bag as it doesn’t take up as much room as your standard face wipes.

This is perfect for those nights you really cant be bothered taking your makeup off or before having a workout where you cant bring your entire bathroom with you – and travelling of course.

And for such a low price I don’t really see any downsides to this product.

So when we are away from our own bathroom and all it's goodies for our skin care, we need a travel team. This is in my travel kit.

Not only is it a cheap go to but it obviously is easier to carry round than (cotton balls, make up remover etc etc).

I have to partner this with a face wash. I have never found a wipe I can use and not need a face wash as well. I do not like the oil they leave on my skin. Soooo I use the wipes to get the bulk of my eye make up and lipstick off and then follow up with my cleanser (which also removes make up) I am aware that this may not be what everyone else wants to do. But I find wipes just are not enough on their own.

The wipe helps loosen the eye make up and remove most of it so the face wash can get to work :) when partnered together they make a great team. On it's own the wipe will struggle to remove all your make up - especially the eye liner if it is a good one!

I got these in a packed toilet bag full of swiss person products,make up wipes full size and travel size, nail polish remover lads, cotton balls and buds in a purple silk effect toilet bag. For $20 a bargain.

The resealable pack is not my favourite. Other resealable wipes packs dry up. Although not the case for these wipes,still not my favourite. You can feel the moisture in the pack if you squeeze the outside. Assuring,knowing that there's enough fluid to keep the pads moist.

The pads are a good size for any size eye, my eyes are protruding shape, so there is a bit of canvas to clean.

Before use I like to squish up the pack as if I'm soaking the pads in the liquid that sits inside the pack.

Then pulling out two pads and sitting them on the eye. Letting them sit into your skin seems to give the cooling effect to your eye area so very nice then it slowly absorbs make up before pressing and smoothing away.

I do admit these are different to the wipes but not too much in difference, the fact that they shaped has got definite purpose. However the removal is the same as the wipes.

Not harsh, nor stinging and gentle to the eye area. Doesn't strip the skin and appropriatelyrics gentle for the eyes.

In saying this I'm more likely to get the wipes then the pads.

Great for a quick fix or when traveling I have very sensitive eyes and found them to harsh for daily use but they do a great job when i do use them. the fragrance is lovely and are a go to for my handbag

Swisspers is known for their make up removing wipes and pads. I was given these as a gift by a fellow beauty review member as a gift. I have never used eye make up removing pads before so I was excited to see what they would be like .

These remover pads came in a 30 pack. The packet is small and compact enough to fit in a hand bag. The eye removing pad had a soft texture but felt like a felt texture. Their white in colour. It had a mild scent to it. They felt wet but not overly drenched.

When I use my eye shadow I tend to use a lot on my eyes. So when I first used these I held the pad over my eye for about 10 seconds and gently removed my eye shadow. They eye shadow did come off with these, but my liquid eye liner and eye liner was difficult to remove. It did come off but there was some remaining product left over. I did need to use a cleanser to help remove this. I found the packet seal did loose its grip over time and slowly dried out the remained of pads left in the packet. This packet lasted me just a little over a month. I think they are priced fairly. I did enjoy using these but I probably wouldn't buy them.

I found these pretty average at removing my eye makeup. They did remove most of my eye makeup, but i didn't really find they were anymore effective than just a standard face wipe as it took about the same amount of time and there was still residue left over. I found the product could sting my eyes at times and felt a little bit too rough for the eye area.
