Linden Leaves Body Oil (all varieties) Review

I had been eyeing these up in the pharmacy for a while but couldnt decide which scent to buy when I spotted a set of 4 for $20. This set has all of Linden Leaves body oils in small sizes so you can try them all before you commit to spending either $30 on the travel size or $60 on the full sized bottles. My favourites were the “Absolute Dreams” and “In Love Again”. Absolute Dreams has a lovely lavender scent and is quite intense at first but settles down on the skin quickly and leaves a very subtle fragrance on the skin, its perfect for unwinding at bedtime. In Love Again has a definite sandalwood smell to it and is quite musky. I love this one the most and have just purchased the full size. The next 2 are “Memories” and “Pick Me Up”. Memories is very rosey and too intense for me but smells quite nice after a while and “Pick Me Up” is quite lemony and is lovely to use in the morning as its quite fresh and zesty. I love how light these oils are on the skin and each bottle is 10mls so you really do get a good amount to use before buying a bigger size. The only thing I wasnt thrilled with was how quickly the fragrance seems to vanish once applied, usually in 15-20 mins its gone all together unless you apply alot. I do love these oils and will buy this set in the future and give as gifts as each one comes in a lovely box.

Linden Leaves Aromatherapy Synergy range has been specially formulated to enhance skin moisturisation and promote cell renewal and repair of aged skin. I have already tried a hand cream from the Aromatherapy Synergy range's Absolute Dreams collection, and liked it, and now this 10 ml sample of body oil from the Pick Me Up collection was a gift in a 2017 Beauty Advent Calendar that I'd bought.

The Aromatherapy Synergy range consists of four fragrances: Absolute Dreams (lavender, sandalwood, cedarwood and orange), In Love Again (neroli, vanilla and sandalwood), Memories (rose, geranium and ylang yang), and Pick Me Up (mandarin, petitgrain, rosemary and lavender). These products are rich in antioxidants, proven to help reduce scarring, stretch marks, wrinkles and fine lines, are specially formulated to strengthen, firm and tone the skin.

This Body Oil is part of the Pick Me Up range and is a moisture-rich blend of organic ingredients, including rosehip, avocado, sweet almond and apricot kernel oils, as well as essential fatty acids, that promise to deeply nourish, hydrate, firm and soften the skin while delivering a long lasting radiant glow.

To use the body oil, I place a few drops of the oil in the palm of my hand before warming it up by rubbing my hands together, and then massage the oil into my skin. The oil moisturizes my skin without leaving an oily residue, and the light citrus scent really is lovely and doesn't linger for too long, so it doesn't compete with perfumes. I'd definitely consider purchasing a full-sized bottle.

Linden Leaves products are free from parabens, SLS and mineral oils. They're cruelty free, and are packaged in recyclable packaging.

I recently attended a Linden Leaves evening and was lucky enough to make one of these oils. I loved hearing the story behind the company and knowing that all the products are not tested on animals and contains no nasties. Also how amazing that these oils are all hand made with the freeze dried flowers!

The smell is amazing, a little goes a long way and it is easily absorbed to leave your skin feeling amazing

This is a beautiful and sumptuous body oil My favourite is the rose variant. Its smooth and so fragrant. I've used it as a body oil, hair oil to beat frizzies and in the shower. I think I'm on my third bottle now! I really love that there are no nasties in this product ❤ the oil absorbs really well too.

I was lucky enough to try out the Body oil "Memories".

My Body soaked up that oil so nicely! often I feel like oils just become a layer on my skin, and my skin doesn't absorb it.. but this is just wow my skin just loved it, I even enjoyed applying it!

this oil wasn't sticky and annoying, it was really nice, it made me fall in love with Body oils! I think only Linden Leaves Body Oil is the best I believe. Oh, I want more!

Memories smell like Rose Water in a bottle, so elegant and refreshing on a beautiful summer's day.

My mum has a full size rose one - I have just read that they all contain rose oil but mums has a rose plant in it. I have tried it a few times on my face neck and the dry cracked heels of my feet with pleasing results and relaxation before bed. I enjoy the scent and it actually made me want to buy a good quality rose oil or perfume. She let me decanter some into a little container but most of it leaked next to my bed on my dresser sadly. I really enjoyed the scent untill I realised the dry down remaining scent smells like that old fashioned makeup smell - you know it's like that old baby powder type of heavy smell that is put into very cheap makeup that you get from $2 shops and stuff? I didn't notice it untill it had leaked out into the things on my dresser because it's a nice good quality old fashioned rose smell otherwise. As for moisturizer it's very good and feels luxurious. I recommend it for an older lady it's nostalgic and good quality.

This oil comes in that simple bottle you see in the picture, with freeze dried roses or fruit depending which oil you choose. They freeze dry them themselves! I think that's really cool. I have the rose one. The oil is easy to spread and absorbs well into your skin. I use it after showering and you only need a little to cover your skin. It smells subtle but lovely. When you read the ingredients, it's almost good enough to eat and definitely natural enough. I can't recommend this enough, if you want a really top quality product and are prepared to pay a bit more for it than your average baby oil.

My mum bought some almond and apricot oil to mix with hers to make it go further as it is an expensive oil. She uses it also for the grandma in the bath tub. It takes care of her 93 year old skin!

I was gifted a travel size linden leaves 'in love again' oil for my birthday and wow was I impressed... the oil makes your skin supple and smooth and has a fruity scent that takes me to a far away tropical destination when I smell it :)

This is hands down the most beautifully presented bottles of body oil that I have come across. This is a pretty simple mixture of oils, sweet almond, apricot, rosehip and vitamin E infused oil. But what makes this gorgeous besides the scent is that the clear bottle has dried fruit and flowers in the bottles. The scent is also amazing. I first came across this body/massage oil when I was working at a spa and they used this to massage their clients. My favorite scents are Memories and In Love Again. Memories features beautiful red roses in the bottle and the rose geranium scent made me love rosey scents. Before smelling this body oil I used to associate rose scents as a scent for older women and grandmas. This smells more like a modern, light and fresh floral rather than heavily sweet, outdated scent.

In Love Again was the most popular scent at the spa and my fave. The bottle has dried tamarillo and and strawberrys in the bottle. The scent is fruity and bit sweet.

It is a massage oil it does need a bit a massaging to get it to absorb but it does work well as a body oil. This makes a gorgeous gift and looks stunning on a dresser or in the bathroom. The Memories one makes an excellent Valentine's Day gift and works out to be cheaper than a bouquet of red roses and more useful. I have given bottles of this to my sisters as Christmas gifts. It is pricey but a full-sized bottle is more than twice the size of other brands of body oil.
