Aveeno Active Naturals Moisturiser Daily Lotion Review

I love, love, Aveeno body lotion. It's my most purchased brand of body lotion. I usually buy the fragrance-free one with the blue print and pump neck thingy, because it has a bit more oaty goodness and extracts. But after that one this is the my second fave. I find this one has a nice neutral but slightly different scent and is slightly lighter in texture. Honestly there isn't a huge difference between this and the blue one but I like to think there is because for the past three and a half years it's been either this one or the blue one. I have purchased and used another body lotion occasionally but if you were to check my stash of body lotions you'd find mostly Aveeno body lotions. I've liked this so much I've gifted it to family and friends. I got my sister hooked on this one. The thing I love about this body lotion is it's got a low rating on the Environment Work Group Skin Deep which means even though it's not entirely natural there's no really nasty ingredients. Even when I switched to more natural and organic products I have continued to purchase this and don't plan to stop any time soon. Also you get a decent sized bottle for the price. It's sold at supermarkets and the warehouse so it's often not very long before one of those places has it on sale and that's when I stock up. This is one of the best budget beauty buys I can recommend.

I was given a sample of the Aveeno body lotion to try and was duly impressed. A short while later on a trip to the Warehouse it was on special so I purchased a bottle. The bottle is a fair size and has a convenient pump action to dispense which is fantastic when applying. The lotion is effective and has a very light, clean fragrance which I found pleasant. I did notice the effects lasted for the day - even on the first day and that after about a week my skin was noticeably more hydrated, so yes it does work for me. I use loads and loads of moisturiser so will definitely be keeping my eyes open to see when it is on special again, but confess that even if it is not I will definitely repurchase. A really good product that lives up to its reputation and is very gentle on both the skin and the environment. A win - win for all.

I love Aveeno products as they work great with my sensitive, eczema prone skin. What I like best about this particular lotion is how fast its absorbed. I use this on my face and can apply make up straight away without any slickness or greasiness. This is perfect for daily use and you stay hydrated for quite sometime. It has a gaint pump bottle for bathroom use or a smaller size more travel friendly.

Well this is an easy shaped bottle to hold, a pale oatmeal colour and a little green on it, with a pump that makes easy to squirt out a reasonable amount to do an arm so maybe eight or ten squirts for my whole body. This is a slightly off white cream with a lovely texture and feels very rich to touch. This has an expiry date on the bottle as well. And natural ingredients hmmm I did read the back and I'm not to sure about a couple of the ingredients. Fragrance is very hard to detect so a very very faint cream smell. This thickish lotion does moisturise my skin and helps with the dryness and a little bit of skin flaking or dry skin scales, they are not as bad as a snakeskin but on the lower part of my legs there's some bad dryness, and using this it does make my skin feel moisturised and soft. There is not stinging or irritation and I find it fine to slap over freshly shaved areas and it's fine so no eyes going big and thinking ouch. This is not for the heavy dry areas like heals or hands and my knees and elbows need a little extra, but for a body lotion it's fast absorbing and doesn't leave me feeling sticky no fragrance to mess up my perfume and no greasy residue. Can be picked up at a good price at the supermarket. I quite often have one of the Aveeno moisturisers in the bathroom.

This is a really good product.I initially started with a sample sachet and then purchased a 354ml pump bottle. I love the pump action as this is practical to use and saves losing caps or sqeezing too much. This cream is unscented which does not fight with your usual perfume and also very good for sensitive skin as the main base is oatmeal.It is a nice creamy texture but does not leave sticky residue on your skin.I purchase mine on special for $15.90 and well pleased with the product and the price as it is lasting for a long time and makes my skin feel very soft and has eliminated the dry patches on my face.

It feels like I got a completely different bottle to everyone else! When I applied it, it was sticky and my skin was left feeling like I've been sweating and the sweat's dried off - very unpleasant especially when I apply it after I shower before I go to bed - my skin rubs against my pajamas and wasn't a nice feeling. Disappointed with this product :(

When I first got to try a sample of the Aveeno lotion I was intrigued by it. I'm always curious to try new brands out. I had seen many comercials on tv for it. I had a $5 off coupon that I recieved with the sample. I headed over to my local supermarket to buy it.

The bottle had a pump on it to disperse the lotion out. I like pump bottles because they last me a little bit longer than normal. Bottle was easy to get the lotion out. The lotion is quite thin. My skin is dry . My skin just drank this lotion up. I normally apply body lotion straight after a shower. My skin felt so hydrated. It lasted me all day long. The bottle lasted me roughly about two to three weeks with daily usage. Wasn't badly priced. I was very lucky to get a coupon at the time. I would buy it again. Have used it on my kids because it's that good.

This is such a worthwhile purchase. It might be a little bit pricey, but you get genuine quality and fantastic skin. This moisturizes the skin and leaves it incredibly soft. I was very impressed with this product and love it so much. A little goes a long way with this too and the bottle has a handle squirt nozzle which gives out a good amount of product.

I don't see what is good or even great about this product or even Aveeno it self. For me I understand fully that everyone has there review and full dislikes and likes about this, but this is mine.

I went into my mother knows room intinually looking for my clothes and I saw this lotion on the floor in her room so when I was picking it up and putting it on her draw I thought why not apply some since my skin was so dry anyway. So putting it on felt just as bad as the smell. It smells old to me smells like something my nan would wear is she had no choice but to use old lotion, not only the smell but how it felt it was sticky and ecky.

When I used it, it did not do anything to my skin but make it feel drier I could run my fingers down my arms or legs and it feels so rough and oily on my skin. I don't know if that has anything to do with my skin type but I just didn't meet up well with this moisturiser. I had used better than this but yeah that is my point of view of this, more or this my opinion.

I bought this out of the supermarket and I liked what was advertised on the bottle. It reads "relieves and protects dry skin", "moisturises for 24 hours", "fragrance free", and so this sounded like the perfect product for me who was experiencing dry skin. But even using this daily I did not find this moisturised my skin or kept me moisturised for the 24 hours like it advertises. I was disappointed with this product and the smell even though it is fragrance free I don't particularly like either. I also found it took a bit of rubbing to get the cream to absorb into my skin. It states on the bottle that "it relieves dry skin" but I had hoped the product would moisturise my skin and clear my dryness. This product may be good for someone that just wants to use a moisturiser daily but it did not work on my dry skin.
